Introduction:

This video was created to help introduce a collaboration between Google Apps and Salesforce. It's our third client production for Google and focuses on how Google Apps tools like Gmail, Docs, Calendar and Talk are integrated into Salesforce CRM, keeping everything in the sales process on the same track.

Client Video: H&R Block's Tango in Plain English

Introduction:

Tax season. Ugh. I know. When we were first contacted by H&R Block we wondered if tax preparation was something that would be a good fit. However, after seeing Tango for the first time, it made sense and we were impressed. The Tango experience is a personal one that's designed around removing the pain of taxes and making it a little fun. We all need more levity, right?

You may have noticed the quote in the video:

Tango changed the way I feel about doing my taxes

It may seem promotional, but we talked to a few customers and that was an actual quote from an interview. The feeling was unanimous.

Amy and her team at H&R Block were responsive, efficient and an all around great client. This project was a pleasure.

Client Video: Enerjy for Java Development

Introduction:

Enerjy was our first client production focused on the world of software development tools (its a plug-in for Eclipse.) Enerjy does something unique: it looks at Java code and produces the Enerjy Index - a 1-10 scale of integrity. This helps developers understand what parts of the code are likely to produce bugs - and why. The video will hopefully make this clear:

Understanding the Enerjy Index was the goal and we found that it
shared some things with human blood pressure: both expose something hidden, use a scale to relate problems and both are fixable. This video uses this real-world example to relate
the idea that there are symptoms of problems in software code and if
they are identified using the Enerjy Index, they can be fixed before
it's too late.

We really enjoyed working with Nigel and the team at Enerjy - they tell us that we "pulled it off!" :)

Client Video: Buying a Home with Redfin

Introduction:

Redfin is disrupting an industry that really needs disruption: real estate. A local Seattle company, they came to us because people often misunderstand what it means to use an "online real estate brokerage." See if this video makes it clear for you. (RSS readers - go here)

Our challenge was to make clear how Redfin works, but more importantly, create a sense of confidence in the company's model. As their CEO Glenn Kelman put it in our first meeting, Redfin is "all about the love" and we designed this video to relate that sense of emotion too. As a side note, Glenn is a great example of a CEO blogger - check out his recent post about his appearance on the Today Show.

Client Video: Google's My Location for Mobile Maps

Introduction:

We love making videos that explain truly innovative products. Such was the case for the video we produced for the Google Maps for Mobile team. The video explains a new feature of Google Maps for Mobile called "My Location" that makes using a mobile map much more efficient by establishing your location without GPS.

The challenge was to create a short video that helps educate people on the feature, but also on how cell phones and towers can be used to establish an approximate location on a mobile map. Again, Google impressed us with their efficiency and focus. This video is currently
displayed on the Google Maps My Location page.

Client Video: Vancouver's I-Move (In A Minute)

Introduction:

Vancouver BC, like most cities, has traffic problems. To help solve this problem, TransLink, the Greater Vancouver (BC) Transporation Authority created a new website designed to help citizens plan around traffic problems. The site is called I-Move .ca and here is a one minute introduction.

The "In a Minute" format is a new one for us and we really enjoyed its lightweight nature. Plus, we got to invent a new special effect - flying!

We worked with TransLink through the great folks at Cogeny. You can expect more soon.

Client Video: California School Finance in Plain English

Introduction:

This video is a client production for the organization YouthNoise,
which aims to encourage youths to get involved and make a difference. The video is currently
displayed on the Right to Learn part of YouthNoise.com and was produced with goal of explaining how California schools are funded.

This video was an interesting challenge for us. Neither of us are from California, so we learned a lot about school policy in the process. The project caught our attention because YouthNoise is an interesting organization with a target market (16-22 year olds) that was also new to us.

This video also marks Sachi's voice-over debut. Go Sachi!

Introduction:

MyGads is one of those useful tools that is difficult to explain without seeing it work. It's part wiki, part bot, part mobile. Hopefully the video does a better job than my text...

MyGads is a product of Teragram Corporation, which is "the market leader multilingual natural language processing technologies."

Video: Wetpaint Wikis in Plain English

Introduction:

Wetpaint is a local Seattle company that makes super easy-to-use wikis for the consumer market. This client production, our third, is currently displayed from the "Tell Me More" link from Wetpaint.com.

This project was an absolute joy. The good people at Wetpaint challenged us to create something fun and reflective of their brand. Instead of focusing on the mechanics of a wiki, this video is much more about how a wiki can become an expression of passion and why someone would want a wiki. Anytime we can do a video that includes a ninja, shark and hairless pet, it's a good project.

Just today, Wetpaint released a Facebook app that enables Facebook members to create full Wetpaint wikis within Facebook. Very cool.

Video: Google Docs in Plain English

Introduction:

Our second client production was for the Google Docs team. For the
first time, we got a chance to work on a product that we use every day. This video was timed to accompany the release of
Google's new presentation product.

The challenge with this video was to drive home the idea that email
attachments are a poor way of sharing digital documents. It's true.

Working with the Google Docs team was a wonderful experience - we were both impressed with their efficiency, insight and integrity.

Video: PRWeb in Plain English

Introduction:

Our first client production, this video is focused on PRWeb's newswire service and a concept we call "The River of News." We're so excited to publish our first production. PR Web is currently using the video on their home page (left side).

Being that PRWeb is a news release company we've also created our own news release, complete with embedded photos and the video. We're both interested to see what comes of it, this is the first time we've done a press release.

Introduction:
