&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Defne Arslan&lt;/strong&gt; - Volunteered with &lt;em&gt;Unite for Site&lt;/em&gt;, a volunteer organization that provides eye exams for people in Ghana, while in college. Defne assisted doctors in performing exams and follow-up patient care to cataract surgery patients.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;CC Lawton&lt;/strong&gt; - Volunteers as an EMT in Princeton&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Matthew Lynch and Lauren Chen&lt;/strong&gt; - Founders of &lt;em&gt;Living Free For Research.&lt;/em&gt;  Raising money for stem cell research through the sale of note cards created from their original photographs as a way to promote their foundation to contributors. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tessa Marmion&lt;/strong&gt; - Spent 10 weeks (after graduating from High School) riding her bike across the USA with a group of women called &lt;em&gt;Girls on the Mov&lt;/em&gt;e, whose mission is to raise national awareness of the issues facing girls today, while advocating the strength of being a girl.  Tessa also spent 5 months teaching English at a school in Tanzania. She continues to raise funds for the secondary education of young Tanzanian girls.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Andrea Plasko&lt;/strong&gt; - Traveled to the Dominican Republic during her Spring break (2010) as part of NYU&amp;rsquo;s &lt;em&gt;Alternative Break&lt;/em&gt; program. She spent her time teaching English in the local schools of Monte Cristi. Andrea taught shapes, colors, animals and numbers to pre-1st and 1st grade children. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Carolyn Smith-Lin&lt;/strong&gt; - Traveled to Ghana in the summer of 2008 to volunteer for Unite for Sight, a nonprofit organization for international eye health.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lindsay Spring&lt;/strong&gt; - Organized three auctions at her home to benefit Cystic Fibrosis, Healing the Children, and Parkinson&amp;rsquo;s Disease.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Jessie Vallette&lt;/strong&gt; - Is a big sister to a young girl named Kayla through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay.  The organization pairs up under prividleged children ranging from 6 through 18 with adults who can act as good role models for them throughout their lives.  Jessie and Kayla hang out about twice per month, usually going out to dinner or visiting museums.  Kayla loves to stay active and she’s a big fan of learning so she keeps Jessie busy, busy, busy!&lt;/p&gt;
