Have you ever heard about “Egnyte” before? I have. And I did not give an attention to know what is it exactly, what kind of business they provide, and so on. I only know that there is a company, located in CA, named Egnyte, and their business related to IT. That’s it.

Just type “web hosting” in your search engine, then you will see so much company compete in this business. Yes, this mean that the business is some kind of “real big fight”. But, the fact is that most companies still be able to live until now. That is why I still believe that this business still provide good profit now, and for the future too.

In order to doing this business , I collect some web hosting requirements. It is not “a must”, but believe me, you will not want to pass it.

Make sure that you use an updated server, with at last 2 Gb of RAM.
Control your service quality by limiting account on your shared server. Ideally one fast account can only handle around 200 account.
Offer money back guarantee, at least 14 day until 1 month.
Offer pro-rated refunds.
Make sure that your “uptime guarantee” is a real guarantee. You can make some note of limitation if it necessary.

Maintain Our PC Performance

Guys, have you ever notice about your PC performance? I have, but almost never give a special attention. If my PC goes slow or maybe hang, I restart it. If the problem still occurs, I probably spare some time to defrag it. That’s all.

But, while browsing the internet tonight, I found a very good article regarding PC performance. The title called “PC Performance A Users Guide to the Computers Mind“. I must give two thumbs up to the writer because of its “easy but very important” things he wrote in that article.

Some tips, very easy tips exactly, but almost forgotten because of my busy time. Let’s see his guidance…

Delete cookies on regular basis. If we did not do this, it will deteriorates the performance of our PC. Although it can make a faster speed of internet connection, but it also store our personal information. Believe me, it is very harmful.
Install variety of Antivirus application in order to have the best protection. McAfee is great, nor Norton. Kaspersky is good too. But each antivirus has its own plus and minus.
Defrag the PC at least once a week.
Perform Disc Cleanup regularly.
Turn off unnecessary running program from Windows Task Manager.
Limiting the amount of graphics shown on the computer screen by using the Control Panel.
Regularly check the update of our softwares.
