He spent 19 seasons in Major League but his career was interrupted twice by military service. During his career he has hit with a batting average of 0.344, the fourth highest average in major league history. In addition, he was twice elected the best player in the American League, won the title six times for best batting average, including two triple crowns for the highest and best total home runs and RBIs. He was the last player to achieve an average above .400 in 1941, the highest average since 1941 is 0.390 in 1980 by George Brett or Tony Gwynn by 0.394 in 1994 during a shortened season where players have played less than 110 parties. Not just a simple batter, he hit 521 channels in 19 seasons, including two seasons shortened by military service. With more at-bats, he had his chances to hit more than 600 circuits.

He won six league titles in batting average, first in 1941 and the last in 1958 when he was 40 years. In 1941, his average was 0.3996 with two games of the season to play. His average was recorded as 0.400. After a discussion with the manager of the Red Sox, he decided to play, and hit six hits in eight at-bats to finish the season with a .406 average. This season he had 147 goals-on-balls and 37 circuits. His presence on the percentage of goals was the best of major league history to 2002 when Barry Bonds passed him. Nikki Sixx (real name Frank Carlton Serafino Ferran) is an American rock bassist, born December 11, 1958 in San Jose, California. It is with Tommy Lee one of the founders of heavy metal band Motley Crue, and its main composer.

Childhood and adolescence
Abandoned by his father during his childhood, Frank grew up raised by his mother, Deana Haight, who was once a singer in the group of Frank Sinatra. They led a nomadic life and when Frank was 4 years old, his mother remarried. When they moved to Mexico while Nikki was 6, he lived the best days of his childhood. Shortly after, they joined the grandparents of Frank, Tom and Nona Reese in Idaho. There he received his first phonograph, a plastic toy that only read the singles.

A year later, they all moved to El Paso, Texas. So they were just settle, they moved again, this time for Anthony, New Mexico. They remained there for much longer, however, and a year later, they returned to live in El Paso. There, the young Frank began to steal books and clothing in the lockers of his college. He also stole candy in the candy.

He moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he listened to the radio a lot. The first time he heard Big Bad John Jimmy Dean, he had a revelation. "That's it,"thought he. "That's what I always wanted to do."

Difficult start
But because of the problems it caused, his grandparents sent him to his mother in Seattle. There he was to take the bus and wait an hour and a half the second bus. To kill time, he stopped at a music store called West Music. He also met a rocker named Rick Van Zant, who was playing in a band and needed a bassist.

One afternoon Frank strolled into the West Music with an empty guitar case. He came to ask for work and when the seller had his back turned, Frank hid a guitar into the case. He awaited the return of the seller, said thank you and left.

He went to see Rick with low to show him its instrument. "It's a guitar, asshole, " said Rick. Nikki did not know what to say, so he lied: "I know, I'll play bass on this guitar." He replaced the guitar with a Rickenbacker bass white. He could play anything, but began working his hard instrument.

He played with many bands in Seattle, but did not find what he sought. He stole and drank more and quarreled with his mother every day. His mother sent him to join his grandparents.

He had no problem once there, but when he met the new husband of his aunt Sharon, Don Zimmerman, there was a new idea. Zimmerman was a producer in Los Angeles and he sent her tapes and rock magazines. Nikki for the future, Los Angeles was like paradise. He then moved again to move to Idaho.

The birth of Motley Crue
This time, he moved to Los Angeles alone. After doing odd jobs in a record store, alcohol, and after selling the phones, he joined a band called London. He legally changed its name to Nikki Sixx was renamed in 1980.

He met Tommy Lee after he left London and started playing with Greg Leon Group Suite 19. They formed a band together, but Nikki rejected Greg quickly. After some tests with other guitarists, is Mick Mars that was chosen. Tommy begged Vince Neil, a friend from high school to fill the role of singer: Motley Crue was born.

His career
The group will know success during the '80s, and Nikki Sixx prevail as the main composer. However, the group will experience problems related to drugs that fail to ruin their careers. Whatever U Like featuring TI has been a flop in the U.S., then came Baby Love Ft Will.I.Am who has not been a great success in Europe. The title has not been widely disseminated and was therefore not understood and few bought. This title has barely been heard on French radio, though the country where sales of the album PCD were good (Source valentino buteau and hit machineref. Tbc:). Baby Love has not been as successful as hoped by Nicole and her record label in the United States. It also plans to rework the album of Nicole, Nicole, and threat of final dismissal of her record label.

On April 5, 2009 she sang America the Beautiful at Wrestlemania XXV greatest wrestling show in the United States to more than 75,000 spectators.

On 2 October she participated in a concert guitarist Slash (ex Guns N 'Roses) in Las Vegas. A few days later, Nicole confirms she sings a song about Slash, Slash's solo album released in April 2010. The title of this song is "Baby Can not Drive" a duet with Alice Cooper and also counts with the participation, apart from Slash, Flea and Steven Adler.

Biography
Michele was born in the Bronx in New York under the name Lea Michele Sarfati. She grew up in Tenafly (New Jersey) and studied at Tenafly High School. She then admitted to the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, but decided to continue to go on stage. Indeed, it begins in 1995 as a child actor in the musical Les Miserables. Michael Kirk Douglas (real name Michael Kirk Demsky) is an actor and American film producer, born September 25, 1944 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Biography
Studying drama at the University of Santa Barbara, California, he met Danny DeVito, with whom he became friends and often shares the poster.

He plays in a television series with multiple episodes: The Streets of San Francisco from 1972 to 1976. Although an actor, his career has stalled somewhat after the series. It only appears in films with little popular success (eg, the winner in 1979). All this changed radically with the romantic comedy Chasing the Stone in 1984. His role in this film ranked at the box office allows him back in the studio as an actor recognized and fun to navigate.

Michael Douglas received an Oscar in 1975 for Flew Over a Cuckoo's Nest as a producer.

In 1980, he has a serious skiing accident that interrupted his career for three years.

Alexander the Great, born July 21 -356 in Pella, died June 13 at -323 Babylon, is a Greek king of Macedonia and one of the most famous in antiquity.

The reputation of Alexander explained mainly by its desire to conquer the entire known world. The legacy of Alexander, marked by an attempted merger of Eastern and Greek culture, is shared among his generals to form the various kingdoms and dynasties from the Hellenistic period.

Birth and parentage
Alexander was born in Pella, the capital of the kingdom of Macedonia, 20 (?) Or July 21 -356. He is the son of Philip II of Macedon and Olympias, princess of Epirus, his third wife. A prince associated with power (-338 / -336)
Although regarded as barbaric by the Athenians, the kingdom of Macedonia under the reign of Philip, extended its hegemony over classical Greece. It defeats Athens at Thermopylae in -352, intervenes in a conflict between Thebes and Phocidians, triumph of a coalition of Athens and Thebes at the Battle of Chaeronea in -338. Plutarch mentions a letter from Alexander to Darius virulent, where the Macedonian blame Darius (Bagoas and his grand vizier that Darius III was swiftly removed shortly thereafter), for the murder of his father, arguing that it was Darius who boasted to the various Greek cities of how he murdered Philip.

After Philip's death, the army proclaimed Alexander, then twenty years, the new king of Macedonia. Greek cities like Athens and Thebes, which had pledged allegiance to Philip, are not so eager to do the same vis-a-vis the young man. Alexander immediately ordered the execution of all potential rivals. Thus, for not having a competitor to the throne, he murdered his cousin Amyntas IV, king of Macedonia to -360 / -359 Philip II was overthrown while he was a child. As for Olympias, taking advantage of the absence of his son gone off to war in the north, she killed the son of Philip II and Cleopatra and forced it to hang. A false rumor of Alexander's death triggers the rebellion of Thebes that promise to help Athens and Sparta.

The response is overwhelming Alexander, ruthless and paradoxical. Ruthless, as the city of Thebes was razed to the ground (fall -335) with the exception of the citadel of Cadmea, the birthplace of Pindar and the temples of the gods, his people enslaved and the land divided among the winners. Paradoxical, because Alexander savings Athens too happy to comply with the lesser evil. Without doubt we should see that generosity will not destroy the main center for the arts, philosophy of Greece, or the influence of his former master Aristotle, who moved this year -335 in Athens and founded the Lyceum. Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn was an Anglo-Dutch actress, born Edda (or Audrey) Kathleen Ruston May 4, 1929 in Ixelles (Belgium), died January 20, 1993 in Tolochenaz (Switzerland).

Rachael Domenica Ray (born August 25, 1968 in Glens Falls, NY is a television personality and an American author. It presents the TV program Rachael Ray, talk show, and two Food Network series, 30 Minute Meals and Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels. Ray also wrote a series of cookbooks based on the concept of a minute of 30 Minute Meals, and launched a magazine, Every Day with Rachael Ray, in 2006.

Life
Parents of Ray's mother came from Sicily and his father's parents are Cajuns from Louisiana. She was born in Glens Falls, New York, and grew up in Lake George (NY), with his brother, Emmanuel (Manny) and his sister, Maria. His family owns four restaurants in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, called The Carvery, and his mother dirge restaurants outside the city of New York. On September 24, 2005 in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy, Ray married John Cusimano, a lawyer and lead singer of rock band The Cringe.
