With Hotpot, users will be encouraged to rate and review businesses directly from their Google-linked profile. news relevant to small communities or neighborhoods that have been overlooked by traditional media, such as newspapers that continue to decrease their coverage of local news due to cost factors.  In the past few years, these sites have used a variety of methods to capture local news, from assigning professional journalists to local beats, to collecting stories from interested citizens, to a combination of the two.</p> <p> </p> <p>The number of web-based start-up news sites has grown over the past few years with some sites having financial backing from some major companies.  The list of
