i have tryed many things to get my computer faster none have worked.
i have tryed removing spyware thats fixed. no spyware
i have removed all of my viruses. no viruses
my hard drive still has 50 gb out of 70gb <---that has nothing to do with it ( my computer technical guy said that)
my computer info is
s3 prosavage graphics DDR
tagar systems
4 CPU
2.80 GHz
and 480mb of ram

why does my computer slow down when I watch videos online?

After I turn on my computer, everything seems to be fine. However, after I watch a video or two on the internet, the video fps drops, and the sound and the video get out of sync. Moreover, the computer usage goes up to about 50% and drops to the range of 20% after I turn the browser off. There doesn't seem to be a problem when I am watching videos through the hard drive, which makes me think it's quicktime that's causing the problem. I have a latitute D620 with Intel 945 Integrated Graphics Card (updated), 1 GB ram, windows xp professional, direct x 10. I use firefox (updated) to surf the internet. Everytime I use Picnik it makes my computer go slow and freeze up. Help?

Okay so whenever I log onto Picnik.com to edit my photos...my computer always goes slow and freezes up. The weird thing is, whenever I log onto Flickr.com and edit my photos through Picnik...my computer acts fine.

Hello, i'm having trouble identifying what's wrong with my computer; when in game, i have smooth gameplay when i play on a clean map but once i go near at least over 10 vehicles or players, the game starts lagging. I've tried googling but no help. For instance, when i play GTA IV, the game lags outside any interior, but once i go in the interior, the lag goes away and i can play it smooth(has to have something to do with the view distance of objects, as the buildings in GTA IV can be seen from really high distances). The only thing i've identified yet is that the CPU might be dieing, as the CPU gets to 100% pretty fast.
