First being, the physical parts, or "hardware". <br /> <br /> The main part of a computer is the "Motherboard". This is the central component of your computer. Your computer revolves around it, if you change your motherboard, 9 times out of 10 you'll have to change your whole spec. This is because the motherboard connects all parts of your computer together. I'll talk about the other parts of the computer later.<br /> <br /> <div>If you are building your own machine the main thing you need to look out for is that motherboards only support one type of processor, or "brand". Intel or AMD, but more on them later.
