A little boy opened the big family Bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible.He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf thathad been pressed in between the pages.Mama, look what I found,' the boy called out.

'What have you got there, dear?'

With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered,

'I think it's Adam's underwear!

...Back to one of my favourite things in this world-Photography. I have just started to see life in the pictures. It happened recently, when I discovered, that photography is more than a moment to catch and ~then it's gone~. It's an absolute opposite. You can create photography full of life, energy, passion and it will have awareness of feelings in it.

A game is like a mirror that allows you to look at yourself.

Lost in Variety or does individuality still Exist?

Some time ago, I've heard the conversation on TV, when actor was answering the question, how he decided to become an actor. He said I felt like I don't know myself, my personality-so I tried to find it in my first role, and then the next one- that's how I became an actor.

Stop right there! I've started to question, about us people, living in MODERN SOCIETY- if the huge variety of choices, deeply fulfill our individual needs and we are living the life we always wanted; or it makes us an actors without our own personality, to jump up to the next role in search of our true identity?

Are we for real?

How important to you is to know who you really are?

While others may identify themselves through their name, position, title, social status,material possessions, gender, size, ethnic background, group affiliation or religious affiliation. But if you dig deeper and open your awareness, is that who you really or truly are?

As a girl from Latvia (Eastern Europe), I had always wanted to live on an sunny island. My dream came true, when we (me and my soulmate) moved to the little island near the French Coast- Jersey. It was the first action in creating the real change.

There are so many things to be inspired from and one of them is music. As we always have been facinated about music, we decided to make our own tunes and created a band SOULM8. We did it with a pure love to the music, with no intensions to gain anything from it.Suprisingly- not only we have recieved such a positive feedback about our music,we have signed one of our songs to the Green Mono Music Studio label.

It's absolutely amazing, what you can do,if you decide to go creative- there are no limits!The most exciting thing is- it brings happiness into every minute of your life. My work mates are continuously asking me, where they can get the happy pill I am using. Well, I am sharing my secret now!

No matter what kind of creative action you are starting with- art, music, dance, poetry, photo etc., it will lead you to exciting and new information about yourself and will open your mind to the new level.

I hope I have touched the string of positive energy in YOU,

SOULMATE

After participating in Gospel Choir Festival, I thought that it’s enough of singing in front of the audience. It felt to me that I haven’t got the drive to do this, although it was an amazing experience.

As my mum was a dancer since her childhood, I was often watching her dancing on the stage. After some time doing nothing creative I’ve decided to get back to the folk dancing, but I didn’t enjoyed it that much anymore.

Then I finally understood where I got it all wrong. I never met myself because I was looking in the wrong places. I was looking for myself in other people, other creativity, other lifestyle etc. I haven’t started with me, and the question what do I really want?

So I started to treat myself better every day. In everything I did, I tried to listen to my inner self and do it with love. I opened the way for love to find me.

That’s when I met my SOULMATE. I felt like he was talking with my soul, my vision of world – there was no questions, only answers and deep understanding. That was the very first moment, when I realized that all sorts of art activities and creative stuff just HAPPENS in our everyday lives, there is no need force yourself into it.

You will find out more in the future posts, as I have been moving closer to the topics what I want to discuss with you.

After Rimmel Roses

Further to the last post.

After Rimmel Roses project ended, I thought my artistic way of living is over.For a long time the only way to express my inner personalty was to read books and live my own story through it.I've started with Elizabeth Adler and all sorts of novels. Although these, particular genre books helped to improve my views of live but there always was a strange feeling of emptiness at the end.By the age of 17, I've started to read Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist" and that was the start of the big journey.
Apart from starting to learn Sociology in University and reading books there was nothing that kept me creative. Of course, I am not mentioning the main point- meeting up with different people and interacting in loads of conversations about the love, inner world, expectations of the life etc.
After 7 or 8 years without singing regular I decided to take my friends proposal to sing in Sing Gospel festival That was a great experience to be a part of this love energy....

Second part of the Bio

Further to the last post.
For my last act of the competition I had to figure out something unique to show. That's how we (family) come out with a great stuff- we created a dress with hundreds of key holders...as I did the African dance with all of those things spinning around me, that was a great experience!I did well on the competition and got the second place in Baltic States.

By the time I finished musical school, I realized that I need to put myself up for the next challenge.

So in 1998 I entered the competition where producers were looking for girls for a girl band. From 855 girls only 5 were chosen. Yeah, I was so happy to be between them! We had the best teachers for acting (Regnars Vaivars), singing (Anete Garanca) and dancing. After all these expectations project ended up with nothing, because producers couldn't negotiate with each other.

After this, I thought that I will quit...

Let's start with Bio

Let’s start with a piece of culture from me and why I am so interested to make culture acts happen in our everyday lives.

When I was 5 or 6 years old, I started to dance. It was a traditional folk dancing. I was 9 years old, when I started to love music, so I decided why not to fulfill my excitement by starting to play flute in musician school. At some point I realized that I can’t do both things- dancing and playing flute in musician school. Common...Let’s face it! I was only 9 and there was no time for doing crazy teenage things for myself, always in between (school-dancing-music school); I'd to quit dancing. By the second year in musician school I was bored, it was hard to deal with nerves in exams- but “music GOD inside” me pushed me further and helped me to finish it. I’ve did win some local contest by playing flute and singing.

When I was 12 years old, my brother heard the news on radio about the national beauty contest. That was it; he put me in line before I knew it. So there I was standing on the stage with a big smile on my face. That’s was the very first act in my life where I remember myself creating something and truly enjoying it! There were 4 acts to be done. I showed my talent skills(playing flute and singing), acting (dancing as a Madonna on “Material Girl”), dancing (folk dancing) and the creative skills...
