iPhone & iPad App Commercials

We recently were asked to take on filming two 60 second commercials for a local software development company (Napkin Studios) who is parented by New York based software company, Squirrels, LLC. The project came to us as a failed attempt from another filmmaker with only a week and half left until the new apps were made public. They asked Concept2Motion to pick up the remaining pieces and make this goal happen.

Not only did our team come together to finish the piece, but we left the customer completely satisfied and giving them the videos they were after! We started by taking the beginning story concepts and developed all new storyboards. Having each shot planned out was key for making sure the crew was aware of what gear was needed and how the initial setup was to take place. Using available talent and willing helpers, we were able to keep the cost down for our client. Thats extremely important in what we do. I’d like to give a HUGE thanks to St. Barbara’s school in Massillon, OH for the use of their classroom, students and very patient teacher as part of the Reflection commercial.

When time is limited and in trying to keep the budget down, the final videos came out amazing! We, as well as, our clients…are very happy with final commercials. Be sure to check them out and give the apps a try too. We had a lot of fun making these pieces and we hope you enjoy watching them.

Concept2Motion, LLC recently took a trip out to NYC to visit Undertone (formally, Undertone Networks). Undertone had a specific vision in mind to produce a short web based informational piece, to help viewers and potential clients, see the quality of having video on your site and advertisements.

Over the course of the week, we filmed interviews of several key businesses in the marketing industry to help distinguish the urge to use video based marketing. With the new acquisition of Jambo Media, Undertone hopes to move forward in the Video demand and deliver their customers what they need.

2010 Cinematography Showreel is now Online

We recently uploaded a new Showreel, displaying our work completed over the past year. These projects include the Saucy Housewife commercial with Lisa Neeld, Under the Rainbow (short film currently in Post-Production), Akiko Spec Commercial and several other pieces filmed by Peter Mozingo. While filming, most were shot using the Panasonic HVX200 with a Redrock M2 35mm lens adapter. Our newest addition, the Canon 5D Mark II, has come into play a lot more. The quick set times, 1080p High Definition video and bokeh filmmakers die for!

More to come as we begin filming a new commercial for Guilt Free Drinks this week.

AutoZone and Goodwill Proposal Location Shoot

Want to show customers a new wall addition in your video? Want to replace signs in front of an old commercial building? Levey and Company came to us with a commercial location that they wanted to propose to AutoZone and Goodwill as possible hub locations for the franchise. They wanted to show them where the new proposed wall and additions were going be…but in a new creative way.

We filmed the location and in post production, tracked the areas through each scene, which were then linked to the motion graphics, to make them stand out. The result was pure success! New Toxic Waste Video Completed

A few months back we were asked to re-shoot a short, personal and very important message about toxic waste dumping in construction zones. Our first thought was, “We like having 10 toes and fingers…thanks anyway!”, but that wasn’t the portrayal George Cortesi was trying to get out. He wanted America to know about his past experience and to give you the basic information to go investigate for yourself.

We scouted for a grim, trashy area and we found what we were looking for underneath a old bridge in a nearby town (name is with-held for privacy purposes). The garbage was plentiful and the body of water actually lead directly to a water treatment plant about 5 miles south of the shoot location. George is very dedicated to his cause and his message is not something to take lightly. Now we’re not exactly “tree huggers”, we don’t like to see polluted water either.
