On Gus:

"He just said 'no' for the first time, which is f--ked up," Morgan, 45, told us at the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premiere in L.A. "In one week it's just like, 'No, no, no!'"

What does 20-month-old Gus say "no" to most?

"Everything!" Burton, 29, said. "What's your favorite color? 'No!'"

"But everything is a first," Morgan said. "It's been spectacular."

As for parenthood, Morgan says life is "a lot of not sleeping, and then our one adult night we come here...this is our date. Can you believe it?"

I got this from an article titled "The Slow Rise and Precipitous Fall of Ryan Reynold's Career by Dustin Rowles

No Dibbuk Box in 2011

First up, Lionsgate announced today that Dibbuk Box, their new Sam Raimi-produced horror flick starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Madison Davenport, and Natasha Calis, will now arrive in theaters next year. January 6, 2012 to be exact.

I came across this quote in an article about Grey's Anatomy today and it made me laugh.

Another "jumping the shark" plot was Izzie sleeping with the ghost of Denny Duquette (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Many viewers have undoubtedly fantasized about getting intimate with Morgan, yet Izzie took the fantasy to a whole new level.

Of course we've fantasized about the man. Have you seen him?! Guh, if you haven't dreamed of getting intimate with JDM then you're either blind or dead. Jus' saying.

My review of The Resident

First off I must say, I was really looking forward to this film. I really enjoyed JDM's turn as the Comedian in Watchmen and I was excited to see him taking another turn toward the dark side. After all, I am mainly a horror writer. I love the dark side. After watching The Resident, however, I must say I was a little disappointed.

The Resident suffers from two major flaws. First and foremost is the plot itself. The premise of a lonely single woman being stalked in the confines of her own apartment is clever enough. What person hasn't at one time or another felt "watched". Magnify that by a hundred and the audience gets goosebumps. The problem with The Resident is there is no build-up, no anticipation, and certainly no surprise since it is clear from the get-go our dear sweet Max is the stalker.

Secondly is the lack of character development. You learn quite a bit about Juliette but almost nothing is revealed about Max, other than a brief less than informative flashback. What makes Max tick? What kind of childhood did he have? Why not better explain the relationship between Max and his grandfather. A reference from the Grandfather suggests Max is "sick and perverted, just like his father". From the looks between the two it is obvious Max's own grandfather despises him. Did that hate mold Max's obsessive personality or was it formed earlier in his life. There is just so much more the audience needs to know about this man who can be as tender and playful as a child one minute, then drugging and raping a woman while she sleeps the next.

Luckily the studio picked two great actors to portray Max and Juliette or this film would have been a complete disaster. Jeffrey Dean Morgan honestly excels at being creepy, so much so that I was disgusted by his actions (and I didn't think anything about JDM could disgust me). He infuses Max with a surprising childlike innocence and awkwardness that makes you feel for the character.

I applaud Jeffrey Dean Morgan for really stretching his acting chops in this one. He proves once again that he is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood.
