Stock list of rowdies in Tamilnadu from 2001 to 2011

Tamilnadu Police DGP Mr. Ramanujam submitted a report to Madurai bench of Chennai High Court, which contains lists of rowdies and crimes registered during last decade (2001 to 2011). This report was asked by the Judge Girubakaran in a case related to murder of Su. Pa. Muthukumar of Nam Thamilar party.

The report shows Chennai tops the list with 3,175 rowdies, continued by Tirunelveli and Madurai. Niligiri has the least count of rowdies with 65.

17,032 pupils were killed in the last ten years and 3,11,308 attempted murder and 2,33,738 crimes related to assets were registered in the last ten years.

The convicted percentages of registered cases were 62.80% in 2001 and 62.10% in 2011.

10 Tips to remove the memory junk and speedup your PC

Computers often freeze or crash when one needs them the most; in the middle of an important presentation, a term paper that's due the next day, or while updating our financial software. Many computer problems can be solved with free or low-cost products or just by using a few common sense tips to improve performance and keep your PC running for a long time.

Here I will show you ten tips that are recommended for any system. It doesn’t matter if you have 256mb RAM or 2 GB RAM. Check the below tips to remove the memory junk and speedup windows OS.

Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.
Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM
Empty the recycle bin regularly. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).
Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.
Delete the temporary internet files regularly.
When installing new Software’s disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.
Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.
Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.

Download and install CCleaner. You can use this software to remove the junks with ease.

RAM is the working area (Desktop) of the CPU. Keep it as empty and uncluttered as possible!
