We have been hit badly by snow in the UK and our usual Christmas trade has gone. Shopkeepers have opened their doors but nobody seems to be coming through them. I was talking to one fashion shop who said "we would normally be inundated with customers at this time and 15% of our years takings are made in these 3 weeks running up to Christmas. I am down 30% on last year and I can only put it down to the snow."

With scenes like this all over the UK it is no wonder people are staying indoors.

The online sales figures for Christmas are set to be £11.5 billion, that’s 17 pence for every pound spent. This is a large increase on last years spending and sources say this could be even more due to the bad weather.

We all want to look our best for Christmas and the new year parties so we thought we would give some fashion "do's and dont's." Be prepared !!!

A nice dress can make you look amazing, you may need to wear a shrug to cover them "Bingo wings" that's not too much of a problem but how do you dress this.

Now there is nothing wrong with having a few extra pounds or even stone the problem is how can you dress yourself up for a night out. well I have the only solution to this problem."Bin bag"

Make up is a necessity when getting ready for the party but please do us men a favour.

Have a shave.

The next task is finding the perfect shoes to go with that dress. We find that a nice pair of heals will do the trick.

The snow has made it tough!!!!!!!!

The snow over the last week has really impacted on sales and we are still waiting for the Christmas rush to start. We have been watching the weather forecast and the news and to our horror the fashion retailers like ourselves are been hit bad, when will it end. The weather forecast is still bad till Saturday night then a well deserved break for Sunday lets hope customers will flock in there droves to get their Christmas dress and party wear before they get snowed in again next week.
