<p>Now comes the story <a href="http://hotair.com/archives/2009/09/24/dig-deep-hannah-giles-defense-fund-launches/">that ACORN is suing</a> Hannah Giles, James O&#39;Keefe, and Andrew Breitbart for their recording and showing their visit to ACORN&#39;s Maryland office.&#0160; For those interested, <a href="http://www.2dialog.com/freemarket/main.php/micro_sites/actionpage/id/96">a donation site for Hannah&#39;s defense fund</a> has been set up.&#0160; I was able to get out to it just prior to tonight&#39;s Hannity story about it.&#0160; Since the story, it&#39;s been almost impossible to load.&#0160; Good news, I&#39;d say!</p><p>I&#39;ll keep an eye out for defense funds for the others.</p><p><span style="color: #00bf00;">-Colonel Steve</span></p><div class="feedflare">

comparable to an Air Force One flyover in New York for a photo shoot in
April that set off a panic there. The head of the White House military

Joe Wilson&#39;s &quot;You Lie&quot; comment has now triggered adding &quot;proof of citizenship&quot; legislation <a href="http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1921713,00.html">into the health care bill</a>.&#0160; What happened to the &quot;it was always there&quot; statements?</p><div class="blockquote" style="margin-left: 40px;"><strong>The controversy over Republican Rep. Joe Wilson&#39;s shouting out &quot;You
Lie!&quot; at the President over his claim that illegal immigrants wouldn&#39;t
benefit from health-care reform apparently sparked some reconsideration
of the relevant language. &quot;We really thought we&#39;d resolved this
question of people who are here illegally, but as we reflected on the
President&#39;s speech last night we wanted to go back and drill down
again,&quot; said Senator Kent Conrad, one of the Democrats in the talks
after a meeting Thursday morning. Baucus later that afternoon said the
group would put in a proof of citizenship requirement to participate in
the new health exchange — a move likely to inflame the left.
</strong><br /></div><p><br />It seems the <a href="http://yglesias.thinkprogress.org/archives/2009/09/baucus-conrad-team-up-to-surrender-to-joe-wilson.php">left is already upset about this</a>.&#0160; Sounds like a repeat of the requirements of proving who one is when they vote.&#0160; The argument being made is that proving citizenship adds too much of an administrative cost to insurance policies.&#0160; Also arguing that not including &quot;undocumented aliens&quot; shrinks our risk pool thereby raising insurance costs.</p><p>Proving citizenship is a one time upfront issue, not a repetitive one.&#0160; We do that already when we board flights at the airport or buy alcohol.&#0160; Activities that daily protect us in some fashion.&#0160; Arguing that we should cover illegal aliens just to have a bigger risk pool goes against our own sovereignty.&#0160; The left has argued that our military shouldn&#39;t be used to fight for other country&#39;s freedom.&#0160; If that logic is true, then our money should also not cover citizens of other countries health care.</p><p><span style="color: #00bf00; font-family: Trebuchet MS;">-Colonel Steve</span></p><div class="feedflare">
