Washington, DC — April 5, 2006 — America is in the midst of an energy crisis and the inadequate supply of domestic energy is a major contributor to the crisis. The Consumer Alliance for Energy Security (CAES), an alliance of consumers and industrial and institutional energy users, held a news conference to call on the U.S. Congress to act on legislation that expands access to America's energy supply.
