I've just switched my blog domain, and Googlebot keeps indexing my old .blogspot.com pages. Awfully, my pages with the new domain are considered as supplemental results. Is there any solution here? Or at least some advice. Thanks

Hi all...

i fixed this problem by deinstalling the "fabulous" Medion CardReader Tool - CTSoftware.

All removable devices will be controlled by Windows thus the error message will not appear again.

I managed to get one div to close as the other one opens in a blogger post, so you can toggle between headings using javascript.

It's a bit untidy and you are restricted by a set number of DIVs so any help you can give me would be apreciated.... the normal javascript method just didn't seem to work with blogger but this works really well.

I think that the best way to do this is to buy a domain through Blogger,and they set everything up and host it for you. this is the easiest way,rather than to go some where where you have to map and set up your domain all by yourselfe as this is just too complicated.Andrea.

This article, and the thread on the Tech Guys forum which led me here, were extremely helpful, if ultimately unsuccessful.

A customer of mine encountered this problem; they had Norton but I'd successfuly expunged that a while ago; they have QuickTime, as part of iTunes, but it doesn't run on start-up; they have removable media as well.

To cut a long story short, after over an hour's trouble-shooting, the customer let slip that he'd had an encrypted USB stick plugged in, the kind that runs software and has its own Safe Eject.

My point is not to overlook the obvious. If something was plugged in early and now isn't, plug it back in and see if the issue go away, before launching into any of the above.

I run Windows programs under WINE on Ubuntu 9.04, so I suspect some things I'm dealing with are due to that. But since I'm trying to get different info from different sources about this, here is a list of things that have happened when I'm attempting to get my computer and my Shine to talk. Any Linux users who have have experience with this sort of thing feel free to pipe in. I'm trying to avoid partitioning my HD to have a hunk of Windows on my lil bitty Drive. Here goes:
LG Mobile Agent runs under WINE, but won't see my USB ports (I theeenk) thus letting me connect my phone to the computer and sync.
I installed everything I possibly could off the CD that came with the USB cable I bought for my phone, as suggested at http://www.consumingexperience.com/2007/04/lg-shine-ke970-phone-ringtones-music.html#syncbasics. (this site)
Trying to select com port on PC sync killed the program.
Trying to sync under mobile agent tells me the port is in use by another program or not available.
But a phone connecting to pc window pops up that wasn't there before I installed all the extra fluff from the CD.
Clicking on settings menu button kills Mobile Agent.
Trying to sync on LG Desktop and SyncManager kills the programs.
Connecting as Mass Storage Mode the phone tells me I need an SD card in the phone and disconnects.

TaDaaa! Any of this ringin' any bells?

Thanks for the tips - in my case clearing Quicktime player's recent files list fixed it. The customer'd told me they'd been deleting files and things off the hard drive and some memory cards, started getting that error and thought they'd deleted something vital. I guess QT just can't let some things go ;)
