As Program Manager for the conference, it's my job to take the lead on making sure that Content World reflects your needs.

Based on your feedback and the latest developments at Open Text, we'll continue to add detail to the program right up to the conference and even onsite.

Here's the deal. I'll keep you updated through this blog on where we are with the program design and you can provide your feedback to me through our new Content World discussion forum.

As soon as the Content World community is ready, we'll post the link on the web site and I'll include it in my blog. Stay tuned!

Early Bird Deadline Extended. Agenda Online. Speakers Wanted.

You'll be pleased to learn you haven't missed out on the Early Bird Special Offers. I can confirm that the Early Bird deadline has been extended to September 5. This means that you can sign up for the conference and pre- or post-conference workshops and courses and still save at least 15%. In fact, if your organization registers a group of 10 or more as part of the Content World Enterprise Program, you can save almost $8,000.

We've recently posted an Agenda Overview to the Web site to give you an idea of what's in store at the conference.

With more peer-to-peer networking opportunities and the new, product-specific morning tracks, this event is growing to reflect your needs. In order to accommodate us, both the JW Marriott and the adjacent Ritz-Carlton will be fully dedicated to Content World. Add it all up and you've got a conference that offers you even greater value this year than ever before.

But don't just take my word for it... We'll publish about 80% of the conference program before the end of July so you'll be able to see exactly what's going on and plan your week in Orlando.

We're continuing to accept customer speaker applications until July 25. If you're interested in presenting a case study about your business or platform solution, there's still time to get your submission in. And did you know that speakers receive a 50% discount off the standard registration fee? There'll be some program updates during the month of August, after these remaining customer case study sessions have been confirmed.

Hello and welcome to the first ever Open Text Content World conference, the evolution of LiveLinkUp, eDOCS Summit, LegalKey Convergence, and RedDot Days.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jeremy Reed, Director of Product Marketing here at Open Text. I have the privilege of being the Program Manager for this new, amalgamated event so I'll be blogging regularly, keeping you in the loop on all developments.

A seasoned veteran of LiveLinkUp, I've spoken with many of you over the years about what you want from the event, and what you've liked and disliked. I've also pored over the post-event surveys from recent conferences.

I can tell you that the Content World team has been working hard, designing the conference to reflect all your valuable feedback.

Here are a few of the things you asked for:

More peer-to-peer activities and have them earlier in the conference
Update the kick-off Gala dinner
Extend access to the Pavilion and Usability Lab
Repeat popular sessions
Post the program sooner
Reduce the number of general sessions
Focus more on my products

Over the coming weeks and months, you'll see that we've listened very carefully to you and I think you'll agree that Content World delivers on these requests, and more.

The Open Text Content World Web site currently includes registration for courses/workshops and the conference at special Early Bird discounts.

As we get closer to Content World, we'll be adding information about sessions and networking features as they become available.
