I'm excited to announce we have launched the Personalized Agenda Builder. You can now preselect your breakout sessions for the conference to secure your space. In doing this you help us ensure we properly size the meeting room space based for the most popular sessions. Also remember that those who pre-register will be given priority to enter the sessions.

I'm also excited to say that we are delivering a green conference and a big part of that is related to the agenda builder. When you complete this Personalized Agenda Builder in advance your agenda will be available to you onsite on our electronic conference navigator. The Crowdsourced Conference Track

Our "Enterprise 2.0" sessions to date are shaping up to include a wide variety of best practices, panel discussions and technology overviews. But in the spirit of 2.0 - we want to hear from you - the customers, prospects, partners and industry pundits - who really care about the next generation of corporate content and the users who create it.

Navigation Improved. Breakout Agenda Posted

Firstly, I wanted to report that we have resolved the navigation difficulties on the Content World Web site. There were some issues accessing the agenda and breakout session details. You will now be able to access the high level agenda overview, details on the breakout sessions, and all of the pre- and post-conference training offerings from the landing page of your chosen track.

Also, I'm pleased to announce that approximately 80% of the Open Text Content World program is now live on the Content World Web site! This percentage is made up of over 150 breakout sessions targeting the ECM Suite, Product Roadmaps, User Experience, Legacy Product views, Industry views, SAP and Microsoft content, and more Customer Stories then we've ever offered! We will also be adding a set of sessions focused around Enterprise 2.0, which should be visible on the site in early September.

Lastly, as Case Studies are one of the biggest draws at the conference, we are still accepting customer speaking submissions. Other customers want to here your story, and if your submission is approved you will get a 50% discount off the conference registration rate.

Progressive Program Design Coming Your Way

After participating in the last seven LiveLinkUp conferences and reading your feedback over the years, I've come to the conclusion that we can't make the conference be everything to everyone.

Inevitably, there are scheduling conflicts with several of your "need to see" sessions. There may even be sessions you were hoping for that never materialized. My goal is to minimize both of these factors in the program design for Content World.

So here's what we're doing to give you the best possible experience:

1) Repeat all morning roadmap sessions in the afternoon - You'll have to make a choice as to which morning "conference in a conference" track to attend. Picking a track just establishes your primary focus for the conference. It doesn't mean that you're not interested in the other tracks. This year, every roadmap presentation that is delivered in the morning tracks will be repeated in the afternoon program.

2) Increase the number of customer case studies - These are undeniably the most popular sessions at our conference. We are aiming to have over 50 customer case study presentations on a variety of topics, on the agenda. As a result, you'll find that there will be 5-10 customer stories to choose from, at any given afternoon breakout timeslot .

3) Dynamic creation of sessions onsite - We are investigating ways of communicating at the conference so you can help us identify sessions that you were hoping to see, but were not offered. If we receive a certain number of requests on a particular topic, we will develop a session onsite. We have left space in our program design for these sessions on the Thursday afternoon. We'll have all the details ready for you at the conference.

Selecting your track at Content World

We've had some requests for help with choosing a track when registering for Content World. Here's a bit of background information to help clarify the program so you can select the track that is best for you We've split the core conference into two components: the morning "Conference in a Conference" and the afternoon "combined Content World."

When you land on the Content World Web site you are asked to choose a track. While many of you are using multiple Open Text solutions, we ask that you choose your primary interest. With this track decision you are only choosing which "Conference in a Conference" morning program you will attend. This will allow us to narrow the view of the morning sessions for you so you can attend sessions that are the most relevant to your situation.

The first question I'm asked when talking to people about this is, "What if I attend the Livelink track, but I want the latest information about Web Content Management?" We've got you covered. The combined Content World afternoon program will repeat key sessions, including product roadmaps and other relevant sessions that will be presented across the morning agendas.

You'll be pleased to hear that breakout sessions throughout the conference are divided into a technical and business focus. This means you can choose sessions that make the most sense for the role you play in your organization.

Early Bird Deadline Extended. Agenda Online. Speakers Wanted.

You'll be pleased to learn you haven't missed out on the Early Bird Special Offers. I can confirm that the Early Bird deadline has been extended to September 5. This means that you can sign up for the conference and pre- or post-conference workshops and courses and still save at least 15%. In fact, if your organization registers a group of 10 or more as part of the Content World Enterprise Program, you can save almost $8,000.

We've recently posted an Agenda Overview to the Web site to give you an idea of what's in store at the conference.

With more peer-to-peer networking opportunities and the new, product-specific morning tracks, this event is growing to reflect your needs. Hello and welcome to the first ever Open Text Content World conference, the evolution of LiveLinkUp, eDOCS Summit, LegalKey Convergence, and RedDot Days.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jeremy Reed, Director of Product Marketing here at Open Text. I have the privilege of being the Program Manager for this new, amalgamated event so I'll be blogging regularly, keeping you in the loop on all developments.

A seasoned veteran of LiveLinkUp, I've spoken with many of you over the years about what you want from the event, and what you've liked and disliked. I've also pored over the post-event surveys from recent conferences.

I can tell you that the Content World team has been working hard, designing the conference to reflect all your valuable feedback.

Here are a few of the things you asked for:

More peer-to-peer activities and have them earlier in the conference
