Once your account is ready click on nominate and submit your site to the proper category.

I discussed how Google's Page Ranking System has become obsolete, but at the same time, many business savvy entrepreneurs still give it credit and could possibly discredit or credit your website accordingly to it's rank.

If you're like 1000's of people online, you've been following page ranking so close for so long, it can be really though for you to break the habit. "No habit can be completely broken, it must be replaced with another".

1st Step: Remove Page Rank From Your Google ToolBar

Google probably won't like me for this one but I recommend clicking on "Options" within your google toolbar, take off "Page Rank".

Congratulations, you've done it. Marketing your website has taken a new turn, a bright road is ahead!!

We can now go back and search online. Before we do, try NOT to think about how a website's importance was measured by Google's page rank, instead take a good look at each site that you visit.

Pay special attention to the content, layout, usability, and friendliness. Do you like it? Why do you like it? Right down things, images, layouts, anything that you like from websites that you pass by.

Create a "Favorites Folder" within your browser, call it "Opportunities". Within this "opportunities" folder, add websites that interest you, or that would interest your visitors.

Combine all these favorite things that you like to form new ventures for your business. Keep GOING BACK to these web resources that you liked and take a look to see if there are any good opportunities for both companies to prosper together.

If you don't, 8 times out of 10, other visitors won't either. I never recommend a website that doesn't feel right. 1st impressions mean a lot more than people think. At times, the internet is a sub-conscious activity and many things that we see make us react to it without even knowing it. You want people to like you and trust you enough to do with business with you.

* Last but not least: Will you be happy knowing that the websites you recommend have a personal touch and your visitors will be better off because of it?

Once we all get in a good groove online and start adding complete personal resources on our websites, the internet will be a better place for all our visitors.

Try and let the larger resource directories within your field to list everything possible, the best course of action for your business is to create something with your own personal touch.

Do not let yourself get sucked into a job you hate simply because you haven't taken the time to find a career that is right for you. As a career counselor, I meet with far too many people each week that are stuck doing jobs they hate simply to pay the bills because they didn't know that other careers were really possible. So take my advice and do a career search before you make any other job commitments. You just may be missing out on a career you could love.

A second main purpose of doing a career search is to learn more about yourself. You may not even have a good idea of what kinds of careers would fit your personality and skills until you do a career search to learn more about yourself. Take time to do some of the personality and skill tests that accompany career searches and see what is right for you. If you are going to spend the majority of your life working, as most people do, than why not take your time and through a career search learn what is truly the best career for you.

Having a career you love is one of the most rewarding things in life. Doing a career search can be one of the easiest ways to discover what careers will bring you the best rewards.

Upcoming movies

Since I've been spending quite a bit of time at the movies lately, that also means I've been seeing lots of trailers. When we're not seeing a lot of movies, I miss seeing all the stuff that's coming up, although sometimes that can be a blessing as well. I can't tell you how tired I got of seeing numerous trailers for "The Eye" and "The Ruins".

But with the summer movie season about to kick in, there are quite a number of movies coming up in the next multiple months that I'm interested in seeing. Here's a rundown of them.

I first saw the theatre standee for "Made of Honor", which is being released May 2, and it didn't do anything for me, but as I've been seeing the trailers, it looks funny. Yeah, it looks to be pretty predictable with standard romantic comedy overtones, but I like the physical comedy I've seen in the previews. Here's the link to the trailer.

When I first saw the trailer for "Iron Man", which is being released May 2, I was very surprised to see Robert Downey, Jr. in the lead role. I guess everyone is doing these kinds of films nowadays. It looks like it'll be interesting, though. Here's the link to the trailer.

I remember watching and loving "Speed Racer" as a child, and even though I really can't tell you much about what I watched (other than that whenever I've been stuck at a train crossing, I've always wished I had his car so that I could jump over everything and be on my way), I'm interested in seeing the live-action feature film version, which is being released May 9. I'm not crazy about the Matrix-like funky special effects, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Here's the link to the trailer.

I enjoyed "The Chronicles of Narnia", so I'm interested in seeing "Prince Caspian", which is being released May 16. I've never read the books and haven't yet decided whether I want to attempt them. I've got too much stuff in the queue as it is, so it's not like I'm looking for things to read, but it's something I might consider in the future. I might have to watch the first film again to orient myself before seeing this one. Here's the link to the trailer.

You would pretty much have to be living under a rock to not know that the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones series is being released May 22. I'll be spending the majority of May trying really hard to avoid spoilers, especially once the film premieres at Cannes. I'm looking forward to seeing the film - the trailer looks great, I'm excited that Marion (Karen Allen) is back, and I'm interested in seeing how Shia LeBeouf does in the film. I hadn't heard until recently that they were making yet another version of "The Incredible Hulk", which is being released June 13. The last version didn't interest me enough to actually see it, especially with the horrid special effects, so I was pretty ho-hum about this version - until I saw the trailer. It looks pretty good, and I find it interesting that Edward Norton is playing Bruce Banner. With the cast also including Liv Tyler, William Hurt and Robert Downey, Jr., I'm looking forward to seeing how this version pans out. Here's the link to the trailer.

I've already talked about being excited to see "Wall-E", which is being released June 27. We're planning on getting tickets for opening night at the El Capitan as soon as they go on sale. (You don't really need me to link to the trailers, do you?)

It'll be a two-movie weekend since I'm also interested in seeing "Wanted", which is also being released June 27. I'm not a particular fan of Angelina Jolie, but the trailer looks awesome, and Morgan Freeman is in it, so how could you go wrong? Here's the link to the trailer.

I recently saw the trailer for "Hellboy II", which is being released July 11, and it looks kind of interesting. I've never seen the first film, and watching this trailer made me think about a city full of the inhabitants of Tatooine's cantina. The husband wants to see the film, and he's recommending that I watch the first film so that I can understand this one better. Here's the link to the trailer.

The second installment of the new Batman series, "The Dark Knight", is being released July 18. I was looking forward to seeing the film anyway as I love this particular incarnation of the story (I was not a fan of Batman being played by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer or George Clooney though admittedly, I didn't see the last couple movies in the series.), but it'll be sad to see Heath Ledger's last role, in which he supposedly does an amazing job. The movie I'm most excited to see, "Mamma Mia", is also being released July 18. It's going to be a bit of a schizophrenic weekend at the movies. (You don't need me to link to this trailer either, do you?)

I had heard nothing about "Tropic Thunder", which is being released August 15, and as I watched the trailer, it wasn't really the kind of movie I'd normally be interested in - except for one element. The apparently-very-busy Robert Downey, Jr. is in this film, playing a critically-acclaimed Australian actor who undergoes a controversial medical procedure so that he can play an African-American character in the movie-within-a-movie. The trailer footage of him looks incredible, so I think I'm going to have to see this movie just for him alone. Here's the link to the trailer.

Another movie that I'd known nothing about is "Hamlet 2", which is being released August 22. But we saw the trailer recently, and we were laughing so hard that it's one of the movies I'm looking forward to seeing the most. It's just completely irreverent, and the show-within-the-movie just looks outrageous. Here's the link to the trailer.

I'd heard that they were doing a remake of "The Women", which is being released October 10. I'd seen the original film as well as read the original play and enjoyed them both. The casting of this new version is pretty interesting, so I'm interested to see how it comes out. There's apparently no trailer available yet.

Success in your career depends upon how well you manage your professional development. A prime source of this development comes from being a member of a professional association that relates to your career. As a member, you can attend conferences where you advance your skills and meet people who can help you.

Some people, however, treat conferences as a paid vacation. They party, they skip sessions, and they return home with little more than a stack of receipts. That costs them (or their business) money and contributes nothing to professional growth.

Here's how to get the most out of your next conference.

1) Start With a Plan
First, make a list of your goals for attending the conference. For example, this could include the information that you want to gain, the relationships that you want to deepen, the people you want to meet, and the things that you want to buy. Also, make a list of questions that you want to have answered while you're at the conference. This list will help you focus on your personal agenda during the conference and will maximize your chances of returning with something of value.

Then, scan through the program to select those sessions that will help you the most. These could be on topics that teach skills leading to a promotion, help open new opportunities at work, or answer important questions about your career. If many valuable sessions are scheduled at the same time, then select your first and second choices. You may find that one of the sessions has been canceled or filled (sold out).

Highlight your top priority sessions so you can sign up or arrive early. These sessions generally have such great value that they justify attending the conference, and you want to make sure that you're there when they start.

If your boss must approve attending a conference, use your plan to justify your request. Be sure to include explanations of how the information, relationships, and participation at the conference will enhance your value to your company. Wise leaders always support someone who relates a request to the benefits that come from it.

2) Work the Plan
While at the conference keep your list of goals and questions in mind. Begin each day by checking your list and identifying those goals that you can achieve during that day. For example, some sessions may provide information that answers some of your questions.

Thus, make it a point to meet new people. Instead of spending all of your time with friends or colleagues, go off on your own. Join other people for meals. Sit next to them during the sessions. Start conversations while walking between sessions. And be sure to ask for a business card. Then you can add that person's contact information into your contact database.

I encourage you to introduce yourself to the speakers. They were invited to speak at the conference because of their expertise in your profession. Thus, they can become valuable resources for information, assistance, and referrals. The best time to meet speakers is right after they finish their presentation. Introduce yourself, offer a brief compliment on the presentation, and ask for a business card. Of course, if you meet them again at the conference, use this as an opportunity to talk further.

4) Apply What You Gained
When you return home, set aside an hour or so to review the notes that you took while at the conference. You may want to schedule this on your calendar before you leave for the conference.

Review your notes, identifying the main ideas. Then convert each of these ideas into an action on your list of things to do. Once you finish the list add a completion date and assign a priority. Recognize that this step converts everything that you learned, collected, and gained during the conference into tangible benefits for yourself and your company.

If you are an employee, I recommend writing a report for your management. Document the key ideas that you gained and describe how they can be applied to your work. If you're an independent, you may still want to write such a report for yourself because this formalizes what you gained from the conference.

5) Be Grateful
When you return home, write thank you notes to the people who helped you at the conference. This simple courtesy sets you apart as an exceptional person. I especially recommend writing notes to:

1) The leaders in the association. They worked hard to organize the event.
2) Members of the staff who helped you. These people can help you get the most out of your membership.
3) The speakers. This could start relationships with experts and celebrities in your profession.
4) New friends. This makes you memorable when you meet again at the next conference.

Use a conference to immerse yourself in the society and the technology of your profession. And then apply what you gained to advance your career.

Mp3 Players And Your Hearing Health

So many people are using mp3 players and iPods on an everyday basis more and more. This rising trend attracts all people who like to listen to non-stop music on the bus, in the car, while working out or just while relaxing at home. While there have been many studies on the positive effects music can have on a person, having small earphones stuffed in your ears while playing loud music can be detrimental to your hearing. Studies have shown that using small earpieces that are inserted inside of the ear creates a sound that is nine decibels higher than that of regular headphones that cover the whole ear. Nine decibels may not sound like a lot, but to put it in perspective it is about the same difference of an alarm clock to a lawn mower. It is also important to note that the type of earphones that fit inside the ear are less effective at blocking out background noises, giving the listener more incentive to turn up the volume. While no one can be sure what the average volume mp3 listeners are cranking their volumes to, a recent study compiled in Australia showed that a quarter of the listeners between the ages of 18 and 54 are listening to music at levels that could potentially cause long term hearing loss.

High levels of music produced by mp3 technology can cause hearing loss because the sound waves damage the hair cells in the cochlea; a part of the ear which transmits sound information to your brain. Any sound higher than 90 decibels can cause long term hearing loss if the sound is prolonged, and most mp3 players have the technological capabilities of reaching 120 decibels. That is equivalent to an ambulance siren.

You can't measure the decibel level of your mp3 player, but you might be listening to your music too loud if your player is over 60% of the maximum volume, you can't hear conversations that are happening around you, other people can hear your music, or you find yourself yelling or talking loudly to people nearby.

There is no need to stop using your mp3 player, and most people wouldn't anyways, considering the great joys they get out of the technology, but there are ways you can ensure your hearing is healthy. Just follow the steps above and you will be sure to have excellent ear health as well as pleasurable non-stop music technology for many years to come.

VB6 dan Google MAP

Disini saya akan sharing bagaimana membuat program sederhana dengan Visual Basic 6.0 yang akan menampilkan google map pada program tersebut. Sebenarnya ini merupakan project TA (Tugas Akhir) salah seorang client saya dulu cuma waktu itu menampilkan lokasi dengan google earth pada software Prediksi Cuaca dengan Logika Fuzzy. Sebenarnya ini gampang banget cuma me link suatu file .html pada VB 6.0 sehingga sebelumnya kita buat dulu file html nya.

Di dalam html sendiri ada beberapa code API (Application Programing Interface) yang telah disediakan oleh google jadi tinggal di copas aja.hehe.. Code yang disediakan oleh google tu gratis alias bisa di sebarkan dan di edit sesuka kita kok (uda ada di webnya) www.code.google.com. Trus gimana cara membuat file htmlnya??? Berikut Langkah-langkahnya:
1. Buka web www.code.google.com
2. Klik Edit Html di pojok kanan dan copy code tersebut
3. Paste code tersebut pada notepad dan simpan dengan attribut .html

4. selesai

Setelah membuat file html kita lanjutkan dengan membuat program dengan Visual Basic 6.0. Jalankan Visual Basic 6

2. Setelah muncul form klik Project–> Component (Ctrl + T) sehingga muncul jendela seperti gambar di bawah ini

3. Pada gambar di atas, plih component “Microsoft Internet Controls”
4. Buat web browser pada form dengan mengklik web browser(gambar bola)dunia pada toolbar. untuk lebih jelasnya liat gambar dibawah

AT&T is reportedly restricting the Personal Hotspot feature which you enable by using MyWI cydia tweak to allow other iOS devices to connect with your WiFi, on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

AT&T users said, AT&T first contact with an SMS saying, “AT&T Free Msg: Did you know tethering your Smartphone to a computer requires a tethering plan? Please call 888-860-6789 for details or visit att.com/dataplans.”

The SMS was then followed up with an email that warned he would be switched to the tethering plan if he continue to tether.

It follows closely in the footsteps of those competitors with a 4.3-inch screen, 8-megapixel camera that captures 720p high-def video, and even a hotspot mode that lets you share our your 3G connection over Wi-Fi. For folks who can never seem to find enough room for their ever-expanding digital baggage, the Droid X’s storage might be its most desirable feature. It comes with 8GB on built-in storage plus a 16GB microSD card for 24GB of total storage, and the ability to expand it up to 40GB with larger cards.

HTC EVO 4G$200 on Sprint with two-year contract

“The first 4G phone in America” is still one of the best, even though it has since found competition in the form of Samsung’s Epic 4G. As we found out in our own tests here in Portland, Sprint’s claims of 10 times 3G performance on both phones definitely exaggerate the next-gen network’s prowess, but heavy YouTubers, music streamers, and other bandwidth hogs will definitely appreciate the extra breathing room. Why choose it over the Epic 4G? It’s close, but you can turn it into a roaming hotspot for up to eight devices (versus five on the Epic), it has a massive 4.3-inch LCD (versus 4.0 inches on the Epic 4G) and its 8-megapixel camera shoots nicer outdoor snaps than the 5-megapixel cam on the Epic. But if you really love a physical QWERTY keyboard, go with the Samsung.

HTC Droid Incredible$200 on Verizon with two-year contract

Overcoming the hype of both the Droid and Nexus One was a tall order for HTC when the Incredible launched back in April, but HTC managed to do it with raw specs on the Incredible. Snapdragon processor? Check. 3.7-inch OLED screen? Check. Five-megapixel camera? Nope, this guy’s shooting eight. Although many of these specs have become de facto standards for new superphones, the Incredible still holds its spot on this list with its unique style, HTC’s Sense user interface, which puts a spit shine on the already gleaming Android UI, and more recently, a price drop. The only downsides from our time with it were unimpressive battery life and voice quality on Verizon’s NYC network, but neither is egregious enough to overlook this otherwise very capable and affordable phone.

T-Mobile G2$200 on T-Mobile with two-year contract

If you need a reminder just how far Android has come, look no further than T-Mobile’s G2, which makes its trail-blazing predecessor, the G1, look like an antique. While it keeps the trusty slide-out keyboard, the G2 rounds the G1’s chunky shape into a more pocket-hugging form, boosts speed with a Snapdragon processor (though not running at 1GHz like most competitors) and most importantly, takes full advantage of T-Mobile’s new HSPA+ network, which delivers speeds that often clock in just below Sprint’s 4G network, making vanilla 3G look positively slow in comparison.

Samsung Captivate$200 on AT&T with two-year contract

AT&T’s original selection of Android handsets, including the Backflip, Aria and Flipout, were knives at a gunfight. But the fat and happy iPhone carrier has finally matched Android firepower with the addition of Samsung’s Captivate. Sure, every U.S. network has some minute variant of the same phone, but that makes it no less impressive on AT&T, where its 4-inch OLED screen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor and 5-megapixel rear camera with HD recording easily make it the carrier’s most capable Android device.

Android leaderboard: The 12 best smartphones

Because there’s a stampede of Android smartphones barreling into the market — including both excellent models and a few duds — many people feel a little overwhelmed when trying to choose one. I get a lot of the “Would you get this one or that one” questions as well as plenty of requests to rank my favorites.
So I’ve decided to do something a little dangerous — create a leaderboard of my top 10 Android picks. It’s dangerous because this is very subjective stuff. The smartphone that is the best fit for you is going to depend heavily on your needs and preferences.
But, since I’ve had my paws on virtually all of the Android devices and I’ve written reviews of the best ones, I’m going to rank them in terms of the overall quality of the devices, with much more emphasis placed on the smartphones themselves than on the wireless carriers that they’re tied to.
I also keep this leaderboard up to date. So, as I review new Android devices and decide that they deserve a place on the list, I will add them and bump other phones down or off the list. With this update, the new entrants to the list are the HTC Desire and the Motorola Droid Pro.

Caveat: This ranking is primarily based on US smartphones. In each country/region, the telecom carriers tend to name these devices by different names. In many cases you’ll be able to find a close match between the devices on this list and devices in your area, but not in all cases.

1. HTC EVO 4G

Pound-for-pound and feature-by-feature, there’s still nothing out there in Android land that can hang with the HTC EVO 4G. With its 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 8 megapixel camera, 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, front-facing VGA camera, Micro HDMI port, 3G Wi-Fi hotspot, and 4G WiMAX capability, the EVO has it all. And, with its large on-screen keyboard and handy kickstand for watching video, it’s a device that’s easy and pleasant to use. When I reviewed it, I called the EVO “The Hummer of smartphones” because it’s so huge and it’s such a power hog, but there’s no denying that it is the elite device of the Android fleet.

2. Google Nexus One

This was the first Android device that really knocked my socks off, and I still use it as the gold standard to measure every other Android smarty. Sure, it doesn’t have the best battery life and its screen isn’t as big and bold as the HTC EVO or the Droid X, but it is remarkably elegant and usable and it remains the one Android phone untarnished by the mobile manufacturers and telecom carriers. Google no longer sells it on the mass market but offers the N1 as a testing phone for Android developers. Still, as I said, it remains the gold standard and as long as Google keeps selling it in one form or another, it will likely remain on this list.

3. Samsung Vibrant

The Samsung Vibrant snuck up on a lot of people. Samsung hadn’t produced many good smartphones in recent years. In fact, the Samsung Omnia was so bad that I rated it as one of the worst tech products of 2009. So when Samsung announced the Galaxy S, its first line of Android devices, expectations were fairly low. But, despite the marketing confusion of naming the Galaxy S something different (and giving it a slightly different configuration) on every carrier, the product has been a big hit, selling over a million units in its first 45 days on the market. The best of the Galaxy S models is T-Mobile’s Samsung Vibrant, which is thin, powerful, has a great screen, and does the least amount of fiddling with the stock Android OS.

4. HTC Desire

This smartphone bears a very strong resemblance to the Nexus One and in the first half of the year it was released in Europe and Australia, where it became a popular choice in both markets. It has since spread to other international markets and became available in the US through regional carrier US Cellular. The Desire has nearly-identical hardware specs to the Nexus One and a very similar, high-quality outer shell that gives it an excellent build quality. The biggest differences are that the Desire has hardware navigation buttons instead of touch-sensitive buttons, an optical touchpad instead of a trackball, includes HTC Sense UI and an FM tuner, but lacks the second microphone for noise cancellation and the pins for a dock connector. Also, keep an eye on the HTC Desire HD (with a larger 4.3-inch screen) and the HTC Desire Z (with a slide-down keyboard).

4. HTC Incredible

One of the most anticipated US Android devices of 2010 was the Google Nexus One on Verizon. Unfortunately, it never happened — partly because Verizon dragged its feet to allow the unlocked Nexus One on its network and partly because Google was unprepared to handle the customer service responsibilities for the Nexus One. As a result, the maker of the Nexus One, HTC, released a similar device called the HTC Incredible (sometimes referred to as the “Droid Incredible”). It’s not quite as elegant or high-end as the Nexus One (or the HTC Desire), but the Incredible is still a solid workhorse of a smartphone.

5. Motorola Droid X

With Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G drawing much of the attention of the Android world since its unveiling at CTIA 2010 in March, the response from Motorola and Verizon (the previous darlings of the Android world) was the Droid X. It matched the HTC EVO with a 4.3-inch screen, an 8 megapixel camera, a Micro HDMI port, and mobile hotspot functionality, but it lacked a front-facing camera, 4G connectivity, and the extra polish that HTC puts on Android with its Sense UI.

6. Samsung Epic 4G

This version of the Samsung Galaxy S is the one that departs most significantly from the standard form factor. That’s mostly because it integrates a full 53-key slide-down hardware keyboard. But it’s not just any keyboard. With it’s large keys and dedicated row for number keys, it is arguably the best hardware qwerty on any Android device. It also features a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, a zippy 1 GHz Samsung processor, and Sprint’s 4G WiMAX service. I could certainly make a case for ranking this phone as high as number three on this list.

7. Motorola Droid Pro

No Android device has taken aim at business users more directly than the Motorola Droid Pro. The most obvious symbol is the Droid Pro’s hardware keyboard, which effectively emulates the classic BlackBerry keyboard found on devices such as the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Curve. The Droid Pro also integrates enhanced security and management features (such as remote device wipe) that will appeal to larger organizations and their IT departments. These features don’t quite bring Android up to the same level of enterprise readiness as BlackBerry (which offers even stronger encryption, for example), but many companies will likely view it as good enough. While the 3.1-inch screen of the Droid Pro is among the smallest of Android devices, this device will definitely appeal to those users who cling to the idea that they want and need a hardware keyboard, especially BlackBerry converts.

8. Samsung Captivate

The other Samsung Galaxy S to make this list is AT&T’s Samsung Captivate, which has virtually all of the same internals and specs as the Samsung Vibrant but has a flatter, boxier form factor. The thinness of the Captivate combined with lots of punch and high-end features make this a very attractive phone. I actually prefer the design of the Captivate over its cousin the Vibrant (No. 3 on this list). However, AT&T has loaded it up with a ton of AT&T crapware that users cannot uninstall, and even worse, has restricted the device so that users can’t “side-load” apps that are not in the Android Market. T-Mobile doesn’t commit either of those two sins with the Vibrant, and that’s what makes it a better choice.

10. Motorola Droid 2

The fact that this phone is all the way down at number seven on this list is an indication of just how competitive the Android market has become, because this is an excellent smartphone. The original Droid really kick-started the Android revolution and remained one of the best-selling Android devices on the market throughout the first half of 2010. The Droid 2 simply updates the design slightly, improves the keyboard, and replaces the internals with more powerful hardware. For those who prefer a physical keyboard and Verizon’s top-notch coverage, the Droid 2 remains a great choice.

11. HTC Aria

The HTC Aria might be one of the best kept secrets of the Android world. HTC could have honestly named this phone the EVO Mini. It looks a lot like the EVO, but in a far smaller package. In fact, while the EVO is the biggest Android phone, the Aria is the most compact, with its 3.2-inch screen. That’s its primary appeal — along with a low price tag (it retails for $129 but you can usually find it for much less than that, even free, based on promotions). The biggest problems with the Aria are the underpowered 600 MHz CPU and the fact that, like the Galaxy S, AT&T has loaded it up with lots of crapware and limited it to only the applications in the Android Market.

12. LG Ally

The LG Ally is not very pretty — except for being pretty underpowered — but it does have a few redeeming qualities that can make it attractive. It has a great little hardware keyboard — the best hardware keyboard on an Android device next to the Epic 4G. It’s also very compact, though not as compact as the HTC Aria, since the Ally has the slider keyboard that makes it a little more bulky. But, the best feature is the price: $49. And, like the Aria, many customers will get it for free with the right promotion. For 50 dollars or less, this phone is a nice value.

Chinese telecom giant Huawei said it has taken the "difficult decision" to abandon its acquisition of U.S. computer firm 3Leaf Systems, after the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment voiced security concerns about the deal. Huawei made the U-turn only days after saying it would not bow to a request from the committee to go back on the $2 million deal and leave the decision to President Barack Obama. The Chinese firm said it had changed its mind due to U.S. lawmakers' concerns over the security implications of the deal, accusing it of having links to the Chinese army and Taliban.

"This was a difficult decision, however we have decided to accept the recommendation of CFIUS to withdraw our application to acquire specific assets of 3Leaf," Huawei said on Feb. 19. "Huawei will remain committed to long-term investment in the United States. The significant impact and attention that this transaction has caused were not what we intended. Rather, our intention was to go through all the procedures to reveal the truth about Huawei," it said. Huawei said last week ago that its image and reputation would be damaged if it complied with the committee's request and sold patents it obtained from 3Leaf Systems. 3Leaf makes software that allows computer resources to be reallocated according to a user's needs across a computer network.
If the Chinese firm had opted not to back down, it would have meant Obama himself would have had to decide whether the firm needed to divest from the U.S. computer firm. How to download from reCAPTCHA free hosters without hassle ?? Plug-in I'm going to describe here is official HDownloader plug-in discussed on JDownloader offical forum,
so you don't have to worry, about this being a scam. I think there is no need to explain what JDownloader is and what it does. But what I think needs a bit explanation and reason why I'm actually writing this simple tutorial is how to be able to use JDownloader to AUTOMATICALLY download from free file hosters which use reCAPTCHA protections.

So, to solve this issue I was surfing around to find a suitable solution to solve my problems and without asking me for any kind of payment (so yes, read on this method WON'T ask you to pay for anything!). And I've found it! So, if you're still interested read on ...

This plug-in enables you to type in reCAPTCHA codes when you have time and gain credits for it, which you can later spend for automating your downloads from free hosts using reCAPTCHA codes. This means you will not need to type in anything, others will do it for you!

But please, before you proceed, just keep in mind that you WON'T NEED to make any kind of payment for this method to work for you, as well I WON'T GET any payment for writting this simple tutorial!

You'll only need to create an account, but not to make any kind of payments, just for the system to be able to track your credits.

OK, this is what you need to do to make this work for you: Get JDownloader from http://jdownloader.org (it's a free java based download manager). or Download from this link for OfflineSetup
Go to Here Here (don't worry I'm not being paid if you follow this link) and find item "Account" on menu or click on "Sign up for a free account!". Once again I won't receive any money if you create account, so you can do it freely. Also when you sign-up you will receive 100 free credits. A small word of advice: When you create your account, don't forget to go to your Inbox and verify your account, to prevent loosing all your credits (this also will cost you nothing).
When you have created your account, find "Earn Credits" on menu and you will start to receiving reCAPTCHA codes which you need to type in to earn credits. This credits will enable you to use this service to AUTOMATE your downloads from reCAPTCHA free hosters. For more information see FAQ to see how you earn or can spend your credits. The main thing is that you can very easily earn 500 credits which will be more than enough to automate any kind of download from free reCAPTCHA hosters.
OK, now when you have some credits on your account, it is time for you to "cash them in", better said for others to solve your reCAPTCHA's. Find item "Plugins" on menu and download JDownloader plugin (available as Win and Linux download). I will show you how to use it under Win OS.
If you have JDownloader running, close it completely, because it needs to restart to (re)load it's plugins. Open file captchatrader4jdownloader_win.zip which you have just downloaded in previous step and extract folder "captchatrader" from .zip archive to <JDownload Install Directory>jdcaptchamethods (ie. C:\Program Files\JDownloader\jd\captcha\methods\).
Go to folder "captchatrader" (ie. C:\Program Files\JDownloader\jd\captcha\methods\captchatrader) and use Notepad (or any other text editor) to edit file named "captchatrader.properties". Once you have opened it enter your username and password you used when you created your account. This part is crucial as it will enable to use your earned credits! If you feel a bit insecure, you can also instead of typing in your password type in your Passkey (seems to me like MD5 hash of your password, so 100% secure) which can be found on 1st page when you log in to your account. This way no one can steal your credits, so you're safe to go.
once you have completed everything from previous step, (re)start JDownloader and enjoy hassles downloading from all reCAPTCHA free file hosters! there is no need to adjust any other settings in JDownloader for this plug-in to work!

All of you who have firewall, you may be asked to allow Java to access Internet, which you should do, as this plug-in needs to send your reCAPTCHA's to server and send you responses back. Anyway no harm in this process is done.

I've tried this and I can say this method works perfectly with many reCAPTCHA hosters. I know this is not a revolutionary thing, as there are other reCAPTCHA based services, but you have to pay for all of them,
and this one is FREE to use. The main point is you can earn credits yourself when you have time for it, to be able to spend
them later when you need your automated downloads. Or if you are tired of typing in, you can cheaply buy credits as well,
but this is NOT a prerequisite for this plugin to work!

The ashBase.dll file did not get infected suddenly, but apparently it's been added to some virus databases.

One of the previous cracked ashBase.dll files was also detected as a virus.
As written in the install notes, it's just a false positive if it gets detected.

READ THIS IF THE CRACK IS DETECTED AND REMOVED BY AVAST
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Open avast > Real Time shield > File System Shield:

2. Click on Expert Settings > Exclusions, and click on "Browse":

3. Browse to the install directory of avast (by default):

C:/Program Files/Alwil Software/Avast5

4. Add the avast folder or cracked ashBase.dll to the Exclusions list of
"File System Shield", and make sure that all three options [R,W,E] are checked!

5. Go to Settings > Exclusion:

6. Click on "Add" to add the avast directory or ashBase.dll to the
Exclusions list (by browsing, as described above):

Restart avast to check if avast still detects the cracked ashBase.dll.

If the above steps didnt work avast will detect the cracked ashBase.dll
if it's started, since avast has to use ashbase.dll when starting!

* If still avast detects the cracked ashBase.dll:
- Go to Expert Settings > click on Actions > Virus, and set it to "Ask",
so that avast wont auto-delete detected files:

More Detail, for preventing avast from detecting the threat as malware!

1) open avast > real time sheild > file system shield

2) click on expert settings

click on exclusions > u have to add the folder in the list > click on browse >

browse to the c:/program files/alwil software/avast5 and add it!

make sure all three options [R,W,E] are checked!!

3)Click OK

Now this should do it for most of u !

restart and check if it still happens ...
if it didnt work as soon as restart u will get the false positive
since avast has to use ashbase.dll everytime before starting!!

if u are still getting the false positive then -

4)Same go to expert settings > click on actions > virus > set it to ask
so that it wont auto-delete !!

Step 6 is only for our satisfaction... it may not really work since we are excluding avast folder itself!
just in case scenario!!

Though the Installation and Patching Instructions are within the patch (click the "Read Me" button) and which you must read carefully and strictly follow before applying the patch, I have adapted and rephrased them for your easiest understanding as follows:

About the crack:
The crack converts a downloaded 30 days trial license for avast!
Pro AV + IS v5.1.889 into a regular license, valid till 22-01-2037.

The crack is only for:
- avast! Internet Security v5.1.889 (32-64 bit, Incl. firewall)
- avast! Pro Antivirus v5.1.889 (32-64 bit, No firewall incl.)
* Trying the crack for another version is useless and won't work.

A. Installation notes:

This cracked ashBase.dll simply should be replaced with the original ashBase.dll.
Make sure to read all the (install) notes below, cause you may need them.
If the crack is detected by your antivirus software then add the crack to the exclusions lists of real-time protection and auto-scan. You may need to disable real-time protection and auto-scan before copying the crack into the avast program directory, and when adding the crack to the exclusions lists.
If the crack is removed by your antivirus software then restore and exclude the crack through your antivirus (Quarantaine or History, or something similar).
Uninstall any previous installed version of avast first.

Disconnect internet during installation.Install avast.IS.5.1.889 or avast.AV.Pro.5.1.889 (not both!) in trial mode.
It's recommended to uncheck "Participate in the avast! community". (Such info is used to add crack signatures etc to virus databases.)
To install additional avast languages choose avast "Custom Installation". > Don't download languages through avast (it will render the license invalid)!
After installation do NOT reboot, and run avast.
At Settings -> Troubleshooting: uncheck "Enable avast! self-defense module".
Launch Windows Task Manager by pressing keyboard keys CTRL - SHIFT - Esc, and let it show all users running processes.
Terminate AvastSvc.exe and AvastUI.exe in Windows Task Manager.
Copy and paste the included cracked ashBase.dll from the crack folder into the avast program directory (replacing the original ashBase.dll file). Default avast program directory -> C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5
Reboot the computer after pasting the cracked ashBase.dll into the install dir.
Run avast, and check mark again "Enable avast! self-defense module".
At Settings > Updates, set PROGRAM "Automatic update" to > "Manual update".
Connect internet, and make sure that avast can connect to internet.
Click on "Activate" at avast's main screen (SUMMARY -> Current Status)
(or go to Maintenance -> Subscription -> Activate trial period).
Wait a few seconds, and avast will be activated till 22-01-2037.
avast can now be updated, but update ONLY the engine and virus definitions.

B. Important notes:

1. Update ONLY the engine and virus definitions (Auto or Manual):
-> At MAINTENANCE > Update click ONLY on "Update engine and virus definitions".

2. Do NOT update the PROGRAM updates (from version 5.1.889 to a newer version):
-> At MAINTENANCE > Update do NOT click on "Update Program" (it will render
the license invalid) !!!

3. At Settings > Updates, set PROGRAM "Automatic update" to > "Manual update".

4. Don't download languages through avast (it will render the license invalid)!

5. If AvastSvc.exe cannot connect to internet then the license cannot be activated:
-> C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\AvastSvc.exe

6. If the avast license cannot be activated then reboot the computer and try again.

7. If avast.setup cannot connect to internet then avast cannot be updated:
-> C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\avast.setup (setup_ais-379.vpx)

8. If avast cannot be updated then reboot the computer and try updating again.

C. Help, Troubleshooting, General Info:

If the avast! "self-defense module" cannot be disabled before rebooting then reboot the computer, and disable avast! self-defense module.
Vista/Windows7 users may need to use another option to terminate AvastUI.exe and AvastSvc.exe (eg. through "active task bar services window" or by using msconfig, and rebooting the computer).
You may need to copy/paste the crack as Administrator.
If the original ashBase.dll cannot be replaced with the cracked ashBase.dll then just drag out the orignal ashBase.dll, and copy/paste the cracked ashBase.dll into the same directory. Or eventually copy/paste the cracked ashBase.dll in Safe Mode (F8), using an Administrator account.

To go into Safe Mode: *********************
>> Press (F8) while (re-)starting the computer, and select Safe Mode to continue.
Or:
1. Go to Start -> Run and type msconfig, click OK.
2. In the System Configuration Utility, on the BOOT.INI tab, check /SAFEBOOT
3. Click OK.
4. When asked to restart the computer, click Restart.
>> To turn back to Normal Mode repeat the above 4 steps and uncheck /SAFEBOOT

D. Extra notes:
For re-installing and re-activating avast offline:

Disable "Hide hidden folders" in Windows.
Copy and save the avast license file stored at (default directory): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Alwil Software\Avast5\license.lic
Uninstall and reinstall avast.
After installation do NOT reboot, and run avast.
At Settings -> Troubleshooting: Uncheck "Enable avast! self-defense module". If avast! self-defense module can't be disabled before rebooting then reboot, and disable avast! self-defense module.
Close avast, and terminate AvastUI.exe and AvastSvc.exe through Task Manager.
Copy the included cracked ashBase.dll from the crack folder into the install directory of avast (replacing the original ashBase.dll file). Default install path avast -> C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5
Reboot the pc, run avast, and click on "Activate" (ignore error messages).
Insert the saved avast license file.
