Thanks Carolyn, and I've uploaded a full-year calendar to the Excel Calendars page
https://www.contextures.com/excelcalendarformulas.html
You could format the calendar cells to Wrap Text, to see all the text. Try to keep the descriptions short though!
To colour the cells, you could create a category column in the Events list, then use that to apply conditional formatting in the calendar. I don't have an example of that on my site, but there are lots of conditional formatting example that might help you get started.

I have downloaded this excel spreadsheet. It is exactly what I need. Can you please advise how to get the calendar to show more than 6 weeks ahead. I would like it to show the rest of the year similar to a yearly planner or Month by month if possible.

Also is it possible to change the colour of the font to highlight the events on the calendar ? So that the same type of event appears the same colour on the calendar. ie. meetings one colour, lunch one colour etc etc

Also, how do I get the event info to fit within the calendar square? Is it possible to wrap the text within the cell?

I have also sent you an email with my sample excel sheet attached

Thanks

You're welcome, Carl, and thanks for letting me know that it helped you find the default settings too!

Debra - Great job on two levels of correcting this error. But even better, you helped me find the default setting location for pivots. There are a few changes I like to make on all pivots to start and now they are set without me doing every time. Thank you!
