Chegando em Aquiraz, antes de ir para a fila receber a planilha, meu pai vai dar uma volta para testar a bike e simplesmente o câmbio dianteiro não funciona! Ele movia &amp;nbsp;mas não chegava a movimentar a corrente. Depois de alguns minutos de ajuste, volta a funcionar mas não 100%. Começa a prova, estávamos indo bem, &amp;nbsp;ritmo moderado para não cansar. 7km de prova e o ciclocomputador para de marcar. Pausa para ajuste. Até que aos 12km o pneu da bike do meu pai fura. Tinhamos câmara de ar reserva e bomba, mas como &#39;não era o dia&#39;, a bomba não dava a pressão suficiente e por sorte (ou não) andamos &#39;apenas&#39; 4km empurrando a bicicleta até a praça onde foi a chegada. Acredito que teríamos feito uma boa prova, apesar do sol bastante forte (largada 8 da manhã) e de muita areia fofa, pois estávamos bem fisicamente e conhecíamos boa parte da planilha pelos últimos treinos que fizemos. Esse é o percurso mais longo que fazemos nos passeios noturnos e sempre é o que dá a média mais alta por passar boa parte pela CE-090. Estava me sentindo bem, coisa que raramente acontece quando faço esse percurso, tanto que bati meu recorde de velocidade em uma subida (mantive 42km/h na subida da Ponte da Barra do Ceará) e a média aos 30 km de percurso estava 24km/h. Como os últimos 10 km a estrada tem alguns buracos e começam a aparecer mais sinais e carros, a média diminui um pouco. Domingo de manhã, decidi aproveitar as ruas com poucos carros para fazer um treino simulado para o Duathlon Terrestre. Utilizando o prédio como área de transição e minha namorada como Staff, deu pra fazer um treino bem legal. Tentei puxar o ritmo na 1º corrida, mas por estar frio e por conta da subida no meio de cada volta, cansei bastante. Peguei a bike, senti dores no quadril e no ombro e o vento e a subida mais uma vez atrapalharam bastante. Na segunda corrida, achei que estaria mais cansado, mas consegui correr tranquilo mesmo em um ritmo razoável. Não fiz as distâncias completas da prova mas fiquei satisfeito, mesmo com um pouco de dor no joelho no fim do dia.&lt;br /&gt;

Por conta da gripe, estava com nariz congestionado e não estava respirando muito bem. Nos primeiros 10km &amp;nbsp;senti um pouco o ritmo forte e, como só estava respirando pela boca, salivava muito e comecei a sentir dor no peito e nas costas. Mas para não chegar na competição mal acostumado com a posição da bike, montamos uma Frankstein! Quadro de mtb e suspensão encostados, aros 26, pneus slick 1.50, guidão speed, manetes de freio e passadores adaptados. Tudo funcionando perfeito, freios, troca de marcha, achei bem confortável a posição. Último treino do ano, fizemos uma trilha em Aquiraz seguindo a planilha do Bike Ceará 2009. O percurso é bem variado, estradões, calçamento e, da mesma forma da planilha de 2011, muita areia fofa onde o jeito é empurrar a bicicleta, além do sol que ficava cada vez mais forte &amp;nbsp;Apesar da dor de garganta, do início de gripe e de uma noite praticamente não dormida, estava me sentindo bem. Estreei meus novos câmbios Sram X-4 (farei um post mais detalhado futuramente), tirando um momento em que a corrente caiu, a bicicleta funcionou perfeitamente. Depois de dois dias de corrida, decidi fazer um trote regenerativo, porém na metade da distância que pretendia fazer, senti uma pontada no joelho e decidi parar para não sobrecarregar.&lt;br /&gt;

Treino intervalado na Praça Luiza Távora. Consegui baixar meus tempos nos tiros, fiz dois de&amp;nbsp;aproximadamente&amp;nbsp;500m (1:57min e 1:58min) e dois de aproximadamente 250m (59s e 56s). Deicidi fazer um treino correndo, parar para esfriar um pouco e depois voltar a correr para começar a acostumar para a segunda corrida do Duathlon Terrestre que foi a grande dificuldade que encontrei quando participei. Corri 2,2 km (9:51 min), descansei 20 min e corri mais 2,2 km (10:47 min).
