Pestilences

2020-03-15T23:03:00.000-07:00

Matthew 24: 5-14
For many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against famines, and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name sake.
And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another and many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

You Have no Right

2017-03-04T09:42:00.002-08:00

You have no right to be intolerant of others opinions. As a Nation we must work together. As a Christian we must pray for those that deceitfully use us. Pray for our enemy. That doesn't mean we must sit idle by as violent mob's savagely brutalize people. We have laws to protect all people. There must be a new law to punish unruly mob's that hide under the pretense of being protesters. This uprising of thugs must be quenched before it ruins our Nation.

Is it Rude?

2017-01-08T13:40:00.000-08:00

Today after church I went to the public library to do some research. I had forgotten to turn off my cell phone and I answered it when I got a call. I talked as softly and quietly as possible and tried to cut the call short. Before i got off the phone a man came up to me and started yelling that he couldn't believe that I was talking on the phone while in the library. After I got off the phone I stood up looked at him and said, " I wasn't near as loud as you because you were yelling." Then I sat back down and finished my research. He didn't say another word. I do know he got fussed at by a library employee for yelling and he said well she is on the phone. The librarian said, " well I can't hear her but everyone can hear you."

Just had to sound off. Like I said I forgot to turn off the phone and that was bad on my part. I did get off the phone quickly, so I if he had a problem he should have gone to the management.

The True Light

2016-12-22T10:10:00.002-08:00

The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made througth him, yet the world did not know him. he came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born , not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

John1:29
The next day he was Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Prayer to Forget

2016-03-12T20:11:00.003-08:00

Prayer to Forget

I'm afraid to ask God to help me forget the bad of life. He may answer the prayer with some disease that makes me forget everything.

I know I must forgive others and it would help if I could forget what they may have done or what I believe they have done. Sometimes I believe I have forgiven someone just to find out that it has jumped up and hit me in the face again.

I do pray to forgive but I'm afraid to pray to forget.

If anyone has scripture that can help me on this please share.

Helping and Serving

2016-01-10T16:53:00.003-08:00

Helping and Serving Others

Exodus 17: 12

But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon: and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side: and his hands were steady until the going down of the sum.

As you see even Moses needed help while serving others.

Romans 12:7

If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.

If you are a preacher, see to it that your sermons are strong and helpful. If God has given you money, be generous in helping others with it. If God has given you administrative ability and put you in charge of the work of others, take the responsibility seriously . Those who offer comfort to the sorrowing should do so with Christian cheer.

Matthew: 10:8

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 20: 27-28

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Luke 3: 10-11

And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?

He answered and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

Luke 12:33-34

Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

John 15:12

This is my commandment, that ye love one another,

as I have loved you.

Acts 20:35

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Romans 12:7

Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:

or he that teacheth, on teaching;

2 Corinthians 4:5

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake.

1 Corinthians 12:28

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and come down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

The Greek word, variableness means: (figuratively) fickleness:

Philippians 1:5-6

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 2: 5-7

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

1 Peter 4:10

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Colossians 3: 23-24

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men: Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Discernment

2016-01-10T15:48:00.002-08:00

Discernment

1 Corinthians 12: 10

He gives power for doing miracles to some, and to others power to prophesy and preach. He gives someone else the power to know whether evil spirits are speaking through those who claim to be giving God's messages or whether it is really the Spirit of God who is speaking. Still another person is able to speak in languages he never learned; and others, who do not know the language either, are given power to understand what he is saying.

Philippians 1:9

My prayer for you is that you will overflow more and more with love for others, and at the same time keep on growing in spiritual knowledge and insight.

Hebrews 5: 14

You will never be able to eat solid spiritual food and understand the deeper things of God's Word until you become better Christians and learn right from wrong by practicing doing right.

Mercy

2016-01-10T15:32:00.004-08:00

Mercy

Romans 12:8

Psalm 103:8

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger,

and plenteous in mercy.

Psalm 103: 17

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

1 Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Hebrews 4: 15-16

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Colossians 3: 12-13

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; For bearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Luke 6: 36-37

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Matthew 5:7

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

James 2: 12-13

So speak ye, and so do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

James 4:6

BUT HE GIVE MORE GRACE. WHEREFORE HE SAITH, GOD RESISTETH THE PROUD,

BUT GIVETH GRACE UNTO THE HUMBLE

Appostleship

Apostles

Ephesians 3:11

Some of us have been given special ability as apostles to others He has given the gift of being able to preach well; some have special ability in winning people to Christ, helping them to trust Him as their Savior: still others have a gift for caring for God's people as a shepherd does his sheep, leading and teaching them in the ways of God.

1 Corinthians 12: 12

Our bodies have many parts, but the many parts make up only one body when they are all put together. So it is with the 'body" of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:28

Here is a list of some of the parts He has placed in HIs church, which is HIs body:

Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Those who do miracles, Those who have the gift of healing, Those who can help others, Those who can get others to work together, Those who speak in languages they havce never learned.

Luke 9:1-5

One day Jesus called together HIs twelve apostles and gave them authority over all demons power to cast them out and to heal all diseases. Then He sent them away to tell everyone about the coming of the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 'Don't even take along a walking stick," He instructed them, ' nor a beggar's bag, nor food, nor money. Not even an extra coat. Be a guest in only one home at each village. If the people of a town won't listen to you when you enter it, turn around and leave, demonstrating God's anger against it by shaking its dust from your feet as you go."

Faith

2016-01-10T14:11:00.002-08:00

Faith

1 Corinthians 12:9

To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit.

Matthew 8:13

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

James 2: 17-18

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2: 20

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Matthew 14: 30-31

But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and rescued him. " O man of little Faith," Jesus said . ' Why did you doubt?"

John 1:12

Even in His own land and among His own people, the Jews, He was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive Him. But to all who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust Him to save them.

John 3: 16-18

For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who don't trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God.

The Gift, Eternal Life

2015-12-21T09:04:00.002-08:00

The Gift of Eternal Life

God gave us the best gift.

The word Logos has a lot of meanings.

The Greek meaning of ,"Logos" is word or reason. It is a power making word.

The Jew meaning of, "Logos" is Active power of God, Creative.

The gift of abundant eternal life can be found in John 1: 1-4

Everything was made by God the Father. John tells us that the Word is Jesus and that He is with us.

God revealed himself to us by nature, and the written word, ' His Word". Jesus is the living Word, in the flesh.

The presence of Jesus brings light into life.

How can a life change if thy haven't heard the word of God. We must share the love of Jesus. We must tell people about the light of Jesus. Our conversation's with people should be about Jesus. We should share our testimony.

Read about if in, John 1:5

John 1: 1- 5
Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. He created everything there is nothing exists that He didn't make. Eternal life is in Him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.

John 20: 30-31
Jesus disciples saw Him do many other miracles besides the one told about in this book, but these are recorded so that you will believe that He is the Messiah, the Son of God, and the believing in Him you will have life.

John 14:9
Jesus replied, Don't you even yet know who I am, Philip, even after all this time I have been with you? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father! So why are you asking to see Him?

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Colossians 1: 16-17
Christ Himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can't: the spirit world with its kings and kingdoms, its rulers and authorities: all were made by Christ for His own use and glory.
He was before all else began and it is His power that holds everything together.

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, " Let there be light in the darkness," has made us understand that it is the brightness of His glory that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 19
The heavens declare the glory of God: and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttered speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoice as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing his from the heat there of. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea , than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors: cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins: let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright and I shall be innocent from the great transgression Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in they sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

When You Become a Christian

2015-12-21T08:20:00.001-08:00

When You Become a Christian

Christian avoid falling back into your sinful ways.

Colossians 1: 9-23
For in Christ there is all of God in a human body: So you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest ruler, with authority over every other power. When you came to Christ He set you free from your evil desires, not by a bodily operation of circumcision but by a spiritual operation, the baptism of your souls. For in baptism you see how your old, evil nature died with Him and was buried with Him: and then you come up our of death with Him into a new life because you trusted the Word of the mighty God who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires were not yet cut away. Then He gave you a share in the very life of Christ, for He forgave all your sins, And blotted out the charges proved against you , the list of His commandments which you had not obeyed. He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross. In this way God took away Satan's power to accuse you of sin, and God openly displayed to the whole world Christ's triumph at the cross where your sins were all taken away. So don't let anyone criticize you for what you eat of drink or for not celebrating Jewish holidays and feasts or new moon ceremonies of Sabbaths. For these were only temporary rules that ended when Christ came. They were only shadows of the real thing of Christ Himself. Don't let anyone declare you lost when you refuse to worship angels, as they say you must. They have seen a vision, they say, and know you should. These proud men have a very clever imagination. But they are not connected to Christ, the Head to which all of us who are His body are joined: for we are joined together by His strong sinews and =we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from Him. Since you died as it were with Christ and this has set you free from following thew world's ideas of how to be saved by doing good and obeying various rules why do you keep right on following them anyway, still bound by , still bound by such rules as not eating tasting or even touching certain foods: Such rules are mere human teachings for food was made to be eaten and used up. These rules may seem good, for rules of this kind require strong devotion and are humiliating and hard on the body, but they have no effect when it comes to conquering a person's evil thoughts and desires. They only make him proud.

When you become a Christian be careful to avoid falling back into your old, worldly, sinful life. Today we are headed toward a time of great persecution for our faith in Jesus. Don't worship angels, " worship God'. The rode to heaven is narrow. The only way there is through Jesus. Jesus is the priority of a Christian life. Your calender and checkbook tell weather Jesus is King of your life. Take yourself off the throne and put God on the throne. Sin separates man from God. The grace of God with Jesus blood redeems us in we ask him. Pray specific for the knowledge of God's will and study his word. You prove you are a child of God by baring good fruit.

Christian Life

2015-12-21T07:56:00.002-08:00

Christian Life

Christian Purge

Living a Christian like life is not hard. As a Christian you have a risen life. You set your mind on Christ and heavenly thoughts. You let Gods word live in you as you fill yourself with his Word. You are happy to live for Jesus when you live like a Christian.

Colossians 3: 1-17
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things sake the wrath of God come on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him; Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bound nor free; but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering: For bearing one another , and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body: and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom: teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed , do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Get rid of some stuff. The secret to accomplishing getting rid of the worldly, sinful life, is to fill your heart with the Word of Christ. Set your mind on God. Do everything for the glory of God. Submerging yourself in the word of God and talking with God will help you get rid of bitterness.

You don't get the risen life by getting rid of stuff or starting new stuff.

You get the risen life through Jesus.

Prophecy Being Fulfilled Today

Amos 9: 9-15

9. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

10. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

11. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof: and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;

12. That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this.

13. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

14. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

15. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up our of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

Set Your Mind and Heart on Christ Jesus

2015-12-13T16:22:00.001-08:00

Set Your Mind and Heart on Christ Jesus

Fill your mind with the Word of God

Are you ready to live your life for the Risen Christ?

1st. Put your mind on heavenly things not on earthly things.

2nd. Study the Word of God and live how God instructed you to.

3rd. Work to make everything you do be in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

4th. Pray continually and ask God to help you live for Him.

Now if you would like to know if you are living for God ask yourself these Questions.

1. Do I continue in my old sinful way?

2. Do I work to bring others to Christ Jesus?

3. Have I put away some of my old ways that were not pleasing to God?

4. Do I fill my heart and mind with the Word of God?

5. Do I continue to look to Christ for how to live my life?

Colossians 3: 1-9

1. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2. Set your affection on the things above, not on things on the earth.

3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6. For which things" sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7. In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8. But now ye also put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds:

What is the Spirit?

1 Thessalonians 5: 23

May the God of peace Himself make you entirely clean; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept strong and blameless until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes back again.

The Spirit is the deepest part of man. Having the right condition of the spirit in a person is an essential ingredient to happiness.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Son of God had no Brother

The Son of God had no brother. Satin is not the brother of Jesus.

If anyone tells you this they are mistaken, " Big Time".

Jesus is not the brother of Satin. Jesus is the only Son of God.

Satin is a fallen Angel.
