So i bummed around the intranet and came across a lot of "Free" sites and trial sites but everything ...well they sucked!

Then i came across collectorz.com. CC has lots of different versions for the different things you can collect, like movies, comics, mp3s' and of course books. Now when i got to the site it of course has a "free" trial which usually means here is a dumbed down version of our software and you can't do anything but look! Well CC has not only a fully working version but the fully working PRO version! And let me tell you what!...

Its freaking awesome!!

I used it for about an hour and i was so impressed I immediately bought it! its 30 bucks for the basic and 50 for the pro and there is an extra charge for the online stuff... but is an awesome program! I started with the basic and started adding books!

Here is where CC shines! They have all these massive databases they they hook into, i have these cookbooks that go back 50 - 60 - 70 years! and so far out of the 900 or so i have added there are 7 (That's SEVEN) that their database couldn't find!

of course its super easy to add non database books as well, but with the database so big its hardly needed!

I even enjoy getting the monthly newsletter from the Owner Alwin (That's right Alwin - Collectorz is in the Netherlands) and CC even sends out occasional discounted upgrades and that's how i added both the PRO version and then the ONLINE version! so i have the whole package now!

So now i know your thinkin' "Larry, how much are they paying you!?" Nothing, in fact i was going to sign up for their affiliate section so i could get credit if any of you buy the CC, but i decided that would rather just tell you and have you "Find" it like i did!

So here is the Link to the main Site HERE

And here is a link to MY Cookbook Collection so far!

I hope you try it! and if you like go ahead and buy it! THEN if you want to give me some credit! Send them an email and tell them where you heard about Collectorz!

Hope you like it and feel free to email me if like my collection to!

Larry

And Aye there's the Rub! Is it "Cook Book" or "Cookbook"?

I wanted to have a place to put down all my info about all my cookbooks! So here I am! I have been collecting about 10 years but only about 3 years seriously. Not that collecting cook books can be consider serious! I do it because i thinks it's fun and I am never stumped for what to make for a party!

So back to my Question!
Cook Book or Cookbook!?

I have seen it both ways and its starting to get on my nerves! (LMAO) OK so its not exactly getting on my nerves but the collecting software i use is picky about wording and if i accidentally put cookbook when the actual title is cook book then well it doesn't find it in their database!

Crazy Huh?!

Larry
