We have been a Family of 4, for the last 8 years. We have gotten used to the idea, and LOVE our boys more than words can describe. It's been so fun to watch them learn, grow, and become the little men they are today. They are at a fun age where we can hang out, have conversations with them, and enjoy spending time together. They are at the age where they are learning to be pretty independent. They each have their own very different and distinct personalities. I love being their Mom, and I couldn't ask for more.
Having said that, we have felt for the last few years, a very strong impression that we have a spirit missing from our little family. I wasn't in the healthiest position to be having a baby. The boys have been asking for a baby for over 3 years, and we would tell them that mommy's belly has to get better first. We never knew if the time would come for us to be having another baby or even it was possible. But after talking with a few doctors, and getting the okay, we starting trying a little over a year ago. We did have a few trials, of receiving good news followed by sadness of not keeping a few pregnancies. We felt strong that if it was meant to be, the Lord would make it happen. It was hard having the patience of knowing if, and when.
We were so excited to learn 3 months ago, that we would be having a little baby, and it had a very strong heartbeat. We waited after a few ultrasounds before we surprised the boys, to let them know that we would be having a new little addition to our family. They were so excited. We feel so blessed, and know that our prayers are answered as the Lord sees fit. We are so excited to share our joy, and this new journey we are taking. It will be a little over 8 years since I last had a baby, so I am pretty nervous to do it all over again. We feel extremely blessed and can't wait to welcome our new baby in November.
