When I was a kid I used to love these blowpens...They are super fun...Just blow as you wish...and you have the control how dak or light you want the color to be....
I never knew till sometime back this kind od shading from light to dark is called "Ombre"
Indeed a fancy term :)

Also if you have noticed these 90's and 2000 ish Movies or so...the heroines wer these "ombre" pattern kinda sarees/salwars :)

Pregnancy gave me great hair but when lil' doll entered her 5th month... My hair fall phase started....Practically i can say i see about 200 to 300 strands of hair every time i touch my hair...I mean it.. not even a slight exaggeration... Hair is everywhere literally... say in the chair / sofa i sit, car seat, pillow, towel,...Everywhere...

This is the worst phase... Guess all this because i skipped the Vitamin and Iron Supplements that was prescribe for me ...But I dutifully skipped ..Thinking that I am in Pink of my health :D

Ok You might think are these rants related to this review ?
Somewhat yes..because bad health causes, hair fall, dry hair, dull hair split ends and what not

The Shampoo Is wonderful ... It smells amazing ... Trust me the lovely fragrance stays for about 2 days :)

My hair was silky, shiny and much more manageable :)

Gave me this squeaky clean effect.. no traces of Oil left :)

I love this Press cap actually... i find it good

Attractive packaging :)

Conditioner

Again this smells amazing

perfect for my kinda hair.

Hair Spa Mask

Smells good... But i found the with the conditioner the fragrance lasted for 2 days but with this for few hours only

the mask is like a creamy gel like consistency

Easy to apply

Made my hair feels really super soft and silky

Cons:

I have no problem with the shampoo...I am going to buy this again once this gets over

Conditioner is good but not great when compared to the Hair Spa Mask

I don't seem to like the Tub packaging of the Hair Mask.... Its very inconvenient

Other than this seriously i dint find any Problem at all..

I straightened my hair 6 months back. My hair had been feeling dry and frizzy and even after a trim, it just wasn't behaving. Prior to this I was using the matrix one and bought both the matching shampoo and conditioner of this range to replace my matrix shampoo which has been giving me some trouble. I was searching for something more hydrating and came across this shampoo and conditioner. I read a lot of good reviews about this Herbal Essences line for dry hair so I decided to try it.

Let me just tell you guys how much I love this shampoo

What the product claims:

Replenish your beautiful yet dry hair with my formula fused with essential moisturisers and orchid and coconut milk.it leaves hair silky and supple.

Directions for use: Use me: lather up, soak your head, rinse and repeat.

Price and quantity: 150 Rs for 300 ml

Flavour: with a fusion of orchid and coconut milk.

Main Ingredients:

water, ammonium laureth sulphate, citric acid ,sodium chloride, ammonium lauryl sulphate, sodium citrate,dimethiconol,ammoniumxylenesulfonate,fragrance,sodium benzoate,glycol distearate,cocamide mea,cetyl alchohol,disodium edta,coconut oil, vanilla extracts ( full ingredient list mentioned on the bottle )

My experience:

I really like this shampoo! After using it only a few times I was shocked at how great my hair feels! Trust me, it’s amazing. Now my hair has gone from very dry to dry-normal in a couple of months. It feels heaven. Yay!!!

Packaging:

I love the simple and attractive stylish packaging of this shampoo. The bottle is curvy and transparent. It comes in a funky neon bluish bottle with a lime green pop up lid. The bottle is see-through.

Colour & consistency & fragrance

It has a medium consistency (neither too thick nor too runny).it has a nice coconut fragrance. The smell may be heavy for sensitive nose. It has a very light blue colour.

How it works:

This shampoo works well with my hair. Cleans effectively but doesn't strip too much moisture off!

Pros:

· Smells divine

· Economical

· Little amount is enough

· Easy availability

· Moisturising

· Good packaging

· Makes hair soft

· Adds shine to hair

· Smell lasts upto 2 days!

Cons:

· Weighs down roots

· Product build up

· Contains lauryl sulfates which are harsh chemicals

Note: To remove this product build up I am using a solution of apple cider vinegar and water. I rinse my hair with this after shampooing and conditioning.

My Rating: 4.5/5

Recommendation: I recommend this shampoo to all girls who have dry and frizzy hair.

Would I Repurchase: yes definitely!! It’s my HD shampoo now!! :P :D

My experience with Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

Lacto Calamine is a product that has been in the market for decades. It is a well known product even among the ladies of my mother’s generation.

Package – A plastic bottle with a screw cap. The bottle is green and peach in color where as the cap is navy blue in color. When the screw cap is opened, there is no stopper to the opening to control the flow of the product.

Consistency – The consistency of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer is just like a thin lotion

Texture – It does not leave an oily texture on the skin. It finishes off with a matte texture on the skin. But spreading it into invisible takes a little time and effort.

Color – The lotion is light peach tint in color.

Moisturizing Power – Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer moisturizes the skin moderately. Though it is specified as suitable for Dry to Normal Skin it is not a rich moisturizer the dry skin will need. It works in soothing the dryness for about 2 hours or so, and then reapplication is again required.

An average product for dry skin. It might suit well for oily skin people. Since it provides light moisturizing it becomes a perfect moisturizer for oily skin.

Rating: 3/5

Pros of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

- Thin lotion texture.

- No oily texture on the skin.

- Provides light moisturizing to the skin.

Cons of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

- Wide open mouth of the bottle without any stopper.

- Not a travel friendly package.

- Not a perfect product for dry skin.

- Does not provide rich moisturizing that a dry skin will need.

My experience with Garnier Wrinkle Lift Anti Ageing Cream:

I have always wanted to try an anti ageing cream. Since I had seen many ladies speak about this cream, just decided to give this product a try.

Package: A red colored round bottle with a white plastic cap. The cap has to be twisted up for opening the bottle. Fingers are to be dipped to use the product.

Consistency: A thin texture if you consider it is a cream. It is not a rich cream. The consistency is similar to a lotion. If you tilt the package bottle, the cream will begin to concentrate on the tilted side.

Moisturization: It acts as a very good moisturizer making my skin smooth and well hydrated.

Color: The cream is pure white in color.

Wrinkle Lift action: I have not observed any major changing in the fine lines on my face. I have some wrinkles near my eyes, near the corner of my mouth and also under eye areas. I have used this cream continuously for 6 months. There does not seem to be a huge difference in the skin. The cream just soothes these wrinkled skins and provides good moisturization.

Final conclusion: Garnier Wrinkle Lift Anti Ageing Cream makes a good moisturizer cream. But it does not help the already present fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

Salad is the easiest eatery that can be prepared without any fire. A good mouth watery salad increases the appetite. This post details about salad prepared from sprouted whole green gram.

Key Ingredients: Half pomegranate, half cucumber, one medium sized carrot, one cup green gram.

Method of preparation:

Sprouted green gram – Soak the green gram in water early in the morning. Leave it soaked in water for the entire day. By late in the evening you will observe that the green gram has absorbed water and is bloated in size. Drain the water completely and allow the green in a closed container overnight. Next morning you will observe sprouted green gram ready for using in the salad preparation.

Step 1 – Chop cucumber into fine pieces. Grate carrot. Open up the pomegranate seeds.

Step 2 – Add one spoon pepper powder, salt and lemon juice according to your taste.

Step 3 – Now add the sprouted green gram to the whole mixture and mix well.

Step 4 – Also add finely chopped coriander leaves.

My verdict about Elle18 Lip Smoothie:Elle18 Lip Smoothie is a very affordable lip gloss. It is so cheap that even girls who do not earn can easily buy by not burning their parent’s pocket.
Elle18 Lip Smoothie comes in a transparent tube and a black cap. The tube has a slanted nozzle like applicator.
The Elle18 Lip Smoothie texture is just right. No stickiness is observed on the lips. But I feel my lips a little oily, and also the skin around the lips gets the oily texture. That means it bleeds to some extent.
It stays on for about 3 hours. It moisturizes my lips well.
Burnt Choco is a nice brownish nude color. Though it gives color in the hand swatch, it is colorless on the lips. It seems like a colorless shiny gloss on my lips. It gives a mint like tingling feel to the lips initially when applied. Later on the tingling sensation goes off.

Pros of Elle18 Lip Smoothie:- Tube like packaging.
- Very economically priced.
- Stays for 3 hours.
- Easily available.

Cons of Elle18 Lip Smoothie:- Burnt Choco is a colorless gloss on the lips.
- It gives oily texture to my lips.
- The oily thing bleeds to my skin around the lips.
Overall, a good product to try.

My verdict on Jovees Kajal:

My search for a perfect kajal is not yet over. I buy every new kajal with a hope that it does not come down to my under eye skin. I have now lost hope on all the claims that the brand does for their kajal products.
Jovees kajal is no different. Just as usual smudging every where within one hour of application. Jovees kajal comes in a twist up case like that of a lipstick. It has a transparent plastic cap.
The color of this kajal is very black and makes my eyes bright and bold once applied. 2 - 3 swipes is required to bring a deep black color.
Staying power is not very good. It smudges usually. I once applied on my upper lash line, and smudged like anything. I am not happy with this purchase. When I tried to wash with water, it does not go easily. It creates more panda like eyes.

Pros of Jovees Kajal:- Easy handling twist up case.
- Easily available across all stores.
- Very dark black color is obtained.

Cons of Jovees Kajal:- Smudges around the eyes.
- Staying power is very low.
- Cannot be easily washed.

Have a look at the claims about his product. Very funny, he he he. Would you believe that this Kajal helps in growing of lashes and improve vision? I pity such claims.

My verdict on Elle18 Eyeliner Black:

Elle18 eyeliner is the cheapest eyeliner I have found so far. This is my first eyeliner when I got attracted towards liquid eyeliner. The cheapest and good in its quality.

The Elle18 Eyeliner comes in a globe like glass bottle with plastic twist cap. The cap has a brush applicator. The brush has very little and fine hair bristles that help in drawing a thin line on the upper lash line.

The eyeliner consistency is not too thick or too thin. It gives a good black colored line.
The staying power of Elle18 Eyeliner is not very good. I apply in the morning everyday and by evening it is not as it was when I applied. It breaks in between. Also it is not water resistant. It gets washed easily.

For a product that is available for just Rs.65, too many things should not be expected.

Pros of Elle18 Eyeliner Black:

- Good packaging bottle.
- Very thin hair bristles in the applicator.
- Very cheap in price.
- Good quality for the price it is available at.

Cons of Elle18 Eyeliner Black:

- Not water resistant eyeliner.
- Does not stay very long.
- The line breaks in between after some time

A good budget product that all girls can give a try.

Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask is yet another product that comes in the standard Himalaya package, a white tube and a green flip cap. The product as a whole is not very appealing.

The consistency is thick and sticky. It makes it very bothersome to spread across the face. And smells terrible. Almond and cucumber are actually not bad to smell, but this Almond and Cucumber Peel-off mask is stinky. And it takes almost an hour to dry. Peeling is easy once it dries completely. But if it gets stuck to the hair, then that is another big mess. I do not find any difference in my skin after peeling.

Overall, not a worthy product to try due to the smell and sticky mess it gives.

Pros of Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

- Easy to peal.

- Easily available product.

- Budget purchase.

- Travel friendly package.

Cons of Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

- Very bad smell.

- Very sticky.

- Creates lots of mess while applying.

- Takes a long time to dry.

Nivea Sun Protection SPF30 is a daily protection lotion providing immediate protection against the harmful UVA/UVB rays. This lotion is ideal for people who want to go out and enjoy sun.

How to UseApply generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently, especially after swimming and towelling to maintain the original protection. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using sunscreen.

My verdict on Nivea Moisturising Immediate Sun Protection - SPF 30 PA++:Nivea Moisturising Immediate Sun Protection - SPF 30 PA++ comes in a blue colored elongated bottle. The bottle has an orange flip cap. Tilt and pressurize a little at the middle of the bottle, the lotion will comes out.
The texture is thin and is a perfect body lotion. It moisturizes my skin very well a makes my skin soft. There is a nice smell initially after I apply. Later on the smell goes off.
Staying power is not 24 hours as the brand says. It is hardly for about 4 hours. Then reapplication is needed. Since I do not reapply, its job as a sun protector goes off.

I do not go out in sun usually. But occasionally when I am touring with my family, I use this sun protecting Nivea lotion. But I have observed my skin getting tanned inspite of using Nivea Moisturising Immediate Sun Protection - SPF 30 PA++. This could be because I do not reapply.
The package is not travel friendly. The bottle leaks very badly.

Pros of Nivea Moisturising Immediate Sun Protection - SPF 30 PA++:- Thin texture of the lotion
- Moisturizes the skin nicely
- Makes the skin soft
- Has a pleasant smell

- Contains SPF 30 PA++, protecting from sun to some extent.

Cons of Nivea Moisturising Immediate Sun Protection - SPF 30 PA++:- Does not stay long. Stays for about 4 hours.
- Reapplication is needed, else skin gets tanned.
- Bottle leaks, not a travel friendly package.
