Well, after not being around a while, I am now updating this blog with a vengeance.

To start out, one GREAT DEAL that I see for anyone who wants to start a collection of great Walt Disney Collectibles is to get your hands on a nice piece from the Walt Disney Classics Collection. One piece that I found that is an incredible deal is the piece above. It's Pegleg Pete, Mickey's old nemesis from Steamboat Willie! However, in the scene above, his name is not Pete- it is "Sylvester Macaroni"! He's the sponsor of the radio show in the 1942 Mickey Mouse cartoon, "Symphony Hour", from 1942.

This would be a great piece to own, especially for a first-time collector! As of this post on this blog, this piece is on Ebay for $12.51. That is way below the market value of this piece! This auction also has no reserve, so it can be had for cheap!

Craigslist Yields Interesting Disney Find

I found this post on Craigslist. From the looks of it, the seller seems to have worked at Disney, and grabbed a whole lot of stuff along the way! The posting is now gone (along with the picture), but this person had an interesting gift basket full of shampoo, buttons, bags, etc. that this person would have given you for $99.

Disneyland Candlelight Processional Special Event For D23 Members

Ever heard of Disneyland's Candlelight Processional? It's a cool event, with carolers walking down Main Street with candles, in choir robes, singing Christmas songs, and a special guest telling the story of Christmas. This year the storyteller will be Jon Voight. I've been to the Candlelight Processional before (in 2005) and it was great!

You wont' find a cooler or more colorful Mickey Mouse pocket watch than this one! This pocket watch features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse kissing each other. Evil Queen Statue from Walt Disney Classics Collection

This posting was about an Ebay auction of a cool statue of the Evil Queen from Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (the posting expired). I actually own this statue. This person on Ebay is selling the statue for $75 (which, if I remember correctly, is close to the price that it sold for at Disneyland a few years back- it was a one-day event piece). This piece was made by the Walt Disney Classics Collection.

There's a lot of cool Disney stuff, and I will point you to what I like the most. I might not know a lot about the cool shit that I point to, but you can navigate to the other websites and read all about it!

Not everything that I post here will be expensive stuff- it will be whatever I think is cool. You might not like the things that I point to, but then again, you might. I aim for this to be simply a blog that tells you about stuff you may not already know about- my aim is to help you be informed!
