How to improve your aiming in CS:S and CS:GO

Step 1: Get a better graphic card
Step 2: Get a better processor
Step 3: Get more RAM
Step 4: Get a better internet provider and contract
Secret step: Get a better computer that actually has a fucking graphic card, not a useless intel HD graphics or whatever that stupid name is
Step 5: Get a better mouse (Razor series is way to go)
Step 6: Get a fucking mouse pad (gaming one)
Step 7: Turn off HDR
Step 8: Get modification for skins (ct's are blue, T's are red)
Step 9: Make sure to check if your fps is over 60.
Step 10: just fucking play as much as you can. (man up and stop complaining about mouse sensitivity)

Aim at heads and have a good fps aiming improved xD good ping also helps xD crouch less!!!

I usually do deagle rounds, and pick up whatever is on the floor.
When I buy its either AWP + Deagle or Para + Deagle.

If anyone wants to get good at any weapon I would strongly suggest starting with Deagle and M4 or Ak47

How to get Counter Strike Source non-steam multi-player!

Before telling you guys i would suggest that you get original version of steam CSS from Steam itself as it is just $20, or if you are INDIA you are in luck! Steam CSS and CS-GO are really cheaper on flipkart.com than on Steam as you can see above believe me its worth it.I started my Css with non-steam only but when i bought the steam one i saw the difference you get auto updates and everything!

But if you are newbie and really want free game then be the PIRATE.

There are few steps you need to follow!

You need to Visit No-steam.ro or Aviara.ro
When you visit there click on "Counter-Strike Source Orangebox multiplayer + single player nosTEAM " OR /!NEW\Counter Strike Source 2012 full game & updates V0_76/!NEW\
A page will open Click On download CSS V 75. It will get you a torrent file, download the game, but you need to download and patch the game if you want to play online on non steam servers.
To download patch on same page you will see a link to patch too download that too.
After both game and patch is downloaded install the game wherever you want to install on your PC.
After installation is done open the the patch.exe locate your css folder and install the patch there, be sure to install the patch where your game files are.

How to create Dedicated Counter Strike Source Servers and install third party mods.(Newbies)

This Manual is Windows Counter Strike Source Only!

Before going Further i would suggest making a dedicated server on Server machines only not on your laptop or PC, because if you play from same PC it will be laggy for you! .I will suggest buy server or be admin on one.
Do exactly as i have written, ask question in comments! or email me!

Subjects:

First, create a folder where the files for the dedicated server will be located. In this manual, C:\srcds will be used as the server directory. Verify 1 GB of free space is available on the drive.

Next, download the HLDS_UpdateTool from here:

HLDS_UpdateTool

Copy this file where you like. Doubleclick it and follow the instructions. The destination folder to use is: C:\srcds. Some files will be copied to this directory when finished, one of them is: HldsUpdateTool.exe

Doubleclick on HldsUpdateTool.exe, so it will update itself. We will be using this file in the next sections.

[b]Download the Server Files Now, we download the server files that are required to run the server. Depending on your connection this could take from a few minutes to a few hours. (about 2.5GB).

The next section need to be completed via the DOS command line. To go there do this:

Click Start, then Run, Type in cmd then click the OK button. Once the Command Prompt is up, we need to change directory by typing this in the command line: cd C:\srcds

Now type the following in the command line or copy from here:

hldsupdatetool -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir c:\srcds

This will download all the server files needed to run a Standalone Source Dedicated Server.

Once finished retrieving the files, this text will appear:

HLDS installation up to date

If it's not working the first time then try again, again and again . I had to try 15 times (o.O).

From time to time you will need to update your server when valve releases CSS update!, just follow the same steps to do this or make a batch file. But i would suggest just open cmd and write that command it will update your game! .

Creating a shortcut to run the server

Go to your C:\srcds directory. Find srcds.exe Right click on it and create a shortcut. Now right click on the newly created shortcut and go to properties. Click on the tab shortcut, in the Target line you see probably the following: C:\srcds\srcds.exe Now we need to add the following behind this line to get the server started properly.

"C:\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -game cstrike -port 27015 -autoupdate +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust

You can find you ip from typing in Google my ip.

If you want your Friends to connect to your server give them "your-ip:port of the server"

Creating a shortcut to run the server

Start the server

All you need to do now to start your server is double clicking the shortcut you created.

Creating a server.cfg

Now that you have your own server it’s time to give it a name and the settings you want. That's done with a file named server.cfg In this post I will post my server.cfg, just scroll with your mouse and you will find it later.

Changing the Mapcycle

If you want to change your mapcycle all you have to do is open mapcycle.txt. You can find this file here:

C:\srcds\cstrike\

Adminning your Server (RCON & MOD)

Now that you have personalized your server, I will try to explain to you how to control your server using RCON. Scroll your mouse and in a reply I made you will find more info about RCON and little info about MOD's.

Firewall/Router Settings

But first most of you have to do port forwarding it is pretty simple but sometimes gets messy without right instructions!

If you can't see your server in the list or your friends are not able to connect to your server then this could have many causes. One of them is that you're behind a firewall or a router.

If your server is behind a firewall and/or you are using a router, you need to open/forward these ports:

UDP 1200 (Friends Network)

UDP 27000 to 27015 (Gameport)

UDP 27020

TCP 27030 to 27039

TCP: 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

Go to the website of your manufacturer if you don't know how to open/forward these ports.Search on youtube how to do port forwarding it will help. Or ask me if you cannot get the solution!.

RCON & MODS

RCON is a very basic and time taking way of controlling your server, I prefer to use MOD's. A MOD is like an add-on to your CS Source Server. It can give extra options to control your server, like weapon restrictions reserved slots or punishments. Because Source is a different engine, MOD's used for CS 1.6 and older are not working for CS Source!

The Source engine comes with a built-in MOD and people made some plugins for it, you can find those plugins here. I will not explain to you how to install these plugins, but Bones has made a website with video instruction that will show you how to install one of those plugins; Bones Plugin Video Instruction. It's a very cool MOD to use, but you need to do some reading about it to really make use of all it's possibilities.

A MOD that is not yet finished (dec 2004), but looks very promising (so keep this in mind!) for the Source engine is:

SHANGHAI -- Another 100,000 people may have to move away from China's Three Gorges Dam due to the risk of disastrous landslides and bank collapses around the reservoir of the world's biggest hydroelectric facility, state media said Wednesday.

The Ministry of Land Resources says the number of landslides and other disasters has increased 70 percent since the water level in the $23 billion showcase project rose to its maximum level in 2010.

Some 1.4 million people already have been resettled due to the huge project on the Yangtze River. Authorities may move another 100,000 people in the next three to five years to minimize the risk of casualties from such threats, Liu Yuan, a ministry official, told China National Radio in a report posted on a government website and carried by the Shanghai Daily newspaper.

He said that 5,386 danger sites were being monitored and that work was beginning on rockfalls and landslides at 335 locations around the lake.

Ministry officials refused to comment on Liu's remarks.

In a recent report, though, the ministry outlined many of the same concerns, including 196 geological "emergencies" in 2008-2009.

Fluctuations in water levels can trigger landslides and other problems, and the risks are accentuated by the density of the population in the area, it said.

About a year ago, China's Cabinet outlined a slew of urgent environmental, geologic and economic problems related to the dam, which has been the subject of intense debate for decades.

Many of the people obliged to move to make way for the Three Gorges Dam have struggled to regain their livelihoods and settle into new homes, that report said.

It is believed that the fear for the number 13 stems from primitive man being unable to count past 12. Numbers beyond 12 do now have an individual and independent name but are a combination of the first 12 numbers. With 12 being the end of the line, 13 was moving into unknown territory.
In Norse mythology the 13th number led to the death of Baldur, the beloved of the gods. When the 12 gods gathered for a banquet in Valhalla, Loki gatecrashed the party, increasing the number to 13, which led to the death of Baldur. It also happens that in Tarot cards, 13 is called “Death.”

The word “gymnasium” comes from the Greek word gymnos, which means naked. In ancient times athletes practiced in the nude to the accompaniment of music. They also performed naked at the Olympic Games. Women were not allowed to participate or even to attend as spectators.

The first Olympic games were held in 776BC – and then every 4 years until 339BC. The first Olympic race was won by Corubus, a chef. For many years the Olympics consisted of only one race, a sprint of 192 metres (210 yards, the length of the stadium) called the “stadion.” A second race of 400 metres was added 50 years later. The pentathlon, wrestling, boxing, single-horse and four-horse chariot races were included later still. There also was a special event in which runners competed in hoplite armor, helmet, shield, and greaves that weighed 20-25 kg (50-60 lbs). There were no team events, relay races or the long distance race of Marathon – these events were introduced in the modern Olympics.

No medals were awarded in the ancient Olympics. A winner received an olive wreath to wear on his head. Second and third placings received nothing. When the Olympics were revived in 1896 in Athens, Greece, winners received silver medals instead of gold medals. A very thirsty camel can drink 135 Liters(30 gallons) of water only in 13 minutes! (I wonder who timed this?)
Camels can travel up to 161 km (100 miles) in the hot desert without water. But contrary to popular misconception, a camel's hump is not filled with water. Instead, it is filled with fat (up to 36 kg, or 80 lbs) that is metabolized for energy and water when needed. As the fat is used up, the hump will become flabby, so if you see a camel with a flabby hump — or no hump at all — feed it, because it is probably very hungry.

Camels can close their nostrils to keep out sand. They also have two sets of eyelashes to protect their eyes — one shorter (those set nearest to the eyes) and one longer.
Camels have big, flat footpads, which allow them to walk on the sand without sinking.
Camels are fast! They can run up to 64 kilometers (40 miles) per hour. But they are anything but graceful. They have an uncommon stride, resulting from walking by using the legs on the same side of their body at the same time (giraffes walk like this, too), which creates a swaying motion that can make riders feel seasick. Maybe it's no wonder they have the nickname "ships of the desert."
Like cows, camels have a multi-chambered stomach. They need to regurgitate and chew the cud, which is why camels are led around by a rope at the nose or a halter (not a bit and bridle like a horse), in order not to interfere with their chewing.
A camel pregnancy can last between 12 and 14 months, depending on the season and the availability of food.
Having a camel means all of your needs will be met. You can eat the meat, make clothes with the hair, make shoes with the hide, drink the milk, and fuel a fire with the dung.

Sea stars or "starfish" are not fish and don't have any brain.They exhibit a superficially radial symmetry; typically have five "arms" which radiate from a central disk. However, the evolutionary ancestors of echinoderms are believed to have had bilateral symmetry. There are some 2,000 species of sea star living in all the world’s oceans, from tropical habitats to the cold seafloor.

Sea stars do not rely on a jointed, movable skeleton for support and locomotion, but instead possess a hydraulic water vascular system that aids in locomotion. The water vascular system has many projections called tube feet on the ventral face of the sea star's arms which function in locomotion and aid with feeding. Sea stars usually hunt for shelled animals such as oysters and clams. They have two stomachs. One stomach is used for digestion, and the second stomach can be extended outward to engulf and digest prey. This feature allows the sea star to hunt prey that is much larger than its mouth would otherwise allow. Sea stars are able to regenerate lost arms.

A new sea star may be regenerated from a single arm attached to a portion of the central disk. Sea stars are eaten by bottom-dwelling fish and crabs, as well as by sea gulls when low tides leave the sea stars exposed. Regeneration will occur as long as one fifth of the sea star's body remains intact. Sea stars breed in the spring, producing as many as 2,500,000 eggs. Females will feel plump and spongy when their arms are filled with eggs.

Sea star digestion is carried out in two stomachs in the mouth: the cardiac stomach and the pyloric stomach. The cardiac stomach is a sack like stomach located at the center of the body and may be everted out of the organism's body to engulf and digest food. Some species are able to use their water vascular systems to force open the shells of bivalve mollusks such as clams and mussels by injecting their stomachs into the shells

A lion’s roar is one of the loudest noises any animal on Earth can make. It is so loud that it can be heard over five miles away from the lion! Scientists have been doing research on the immense sound lion’s emit and have discovered that the reason its loud isn’t because of lung capacity.
It’s actually because they have an unusual set of vocal cords which allow them to produce a noise that is both hard and heavy at the same time, all with hardly using the respiratory system. These vocal cords containtwo membranes which are covered in a peculiar layer of fat that allow the vocal cords to vibrate horizontally, magnifying the sound!

This may sound unbelievable, but it is true. Two pieces of metal without any coating on them will form in to one piece in the vacuum of space. This doesn’t happen on earth because the atmosphere puts a layer of oxidized material between the surfaces. This might seem like it would be a big problem on the space station but as most tools used there have come from earth, they are already coated with material. In fact, the only evidence of this seen so far has been in experiments designed to provoke the reaction. This process is called cold welding.
