The USB Pickle Light is perfect for those people who live in caves and don’t have backlights on their computers.  Also, it’s a weird geeky gadget that will bring pleasure to all pickle lovers who appreciate the occasional “???” moment.  That moment where you just forget what you are, and look around for exits because you see somebody with a glowing pickle light plugged into their computer.  The only good use I can foresee for the USB Pickle Light is if you still play the GBA, like me, which does not have a backlight.  This geeky light sources is actually huge – the pickle is 17″, not your average pickle, and is one giant LED.

The USB Pickle Light costs $9, but will light up your workspace if you don’t have a lamp or light of any kind.  But, that also probably implies that you have no electricity, which implies that you won’t have a computer, which implies that you can’t stick the pickle USB into anything, which implies that you will live in darkness, which implies that you are a caveman, which implies that you could make a boatload of money by inventing the wheel.  Fellas!  We’re going back in time!  ”To the seventies?”  *Facepalm*  “Because I miss the shag carpet / colorful wall paint decorum style.”  *Maintains facepalm*

The Retro iPhone 4S Cases are the hottest old thing for the hottest new thing that you’ll find in the oven of geeky stuff.  One of the cases looks like an early generation iPod, while the other is reminiscent of those clunky old Macs.  There is also a retro case (not pictured) that represents the earliest Mac computers.  You know, the one’s that were the disgusting beige color and said “Macintosh” with the rainbow apple?  Those were so twenty thousand years ago – just like the iPhone 3G.  ”The 3G isn’t that old.”  I heard from the “hip” kids around my block that when you’re cool, things get really old really fast.  Except people – they seem to age the same regardless of whether or not they’re near the cool kids.  ”You’re getting less cool.”  Do you think we should get a larger subject test group?  ”I’m leaving now.”  A’right!  Hit me up on the DL, holmes!  *Puts away book of slang*

Hasbro, king of all geeky toys, is launching their newest endeavor: the iOS Powered Lazer Tag Guns.  Since you already own all of those other laser tag toys that shoot through brick walls and work about as well as a broken leg, you surely have faced the frustrations of having to pay tons and tons of money for Lazer Quest only to not make it onto the leaderboards for weekly performance.  With the iOS Powered Lazer Tag Guns, you just put your iPhone or iPod Touch into the HUD on the gun, and play either single player or multiplayer modes.  In the one player section, you just shoot imaginary AI – using the two player mode, you get real time data on ammo, or “energy”, and how many health points you have left.  These awesome gadgets can shoot their invisible beams distances up to 250 feet, and you will have the Lazer Tag experience of a lifetime.

The iOS Powered Lazer Tag Guns are going to launch in early August of this year (2012) and will cost $70 for two guns.  At this point, everyone is assuming that the application will be free, or of negligible price.  Oh, yeah – you’ll also need 6AA batteries per gun.  Keep filling those landfills, my friend, keep feeding the landfill monster.  ”There’s a landfill monster?”  Why do you think we put things in landfills?  To appease the monster!  We wouldn’t just throw things away there and let them sit on the ground forever!  ”Are you sure?”  It makes sense.

The Junk Food Eraser Set has turned all of your favorite unhealthy foods into erasers!  This set includes a strawberry cake, donut, cupcake, shake, cookie with cream in the middle, and pizza.  My only objection is that I see the color green on the pizza – why?  This is supposed to be junk food!  Why I am disappointed in Domino’s: they  took away their Oreo pizza after only a couple of weeks, and I only had the chance to order it once.  People were super judgmental and labeled it “disgusting” before they had even found out that it was basically oreos and frosting on a plain pizza.  It was ridiculously delicious – I have to tell you.  Super duper tasty.

The Giant Ice Cream Cone Lamp – put it on a dresser, stand it up on it’s own – any way you put it, it’s good!  Just like ice cream!  Suck it up your nose, wipe it on your face, or cone yourself at your local McDonald’s.  The only instruction that comes with the Giant Ice Cream Cone Lamp is not to eat it, and to make sure that you don’t lay it down on newspaper and set your house on fire.  This geeky light source is available in vanilla and strawberry (no longer in chocolate), which are two of the most classic ice cream flavors.  So, in conclusion, don’t feed this lamp the neighbors’ pet snake.

The Giant Ice Cream Cone Lamp is $40, but it is basically a full-sized lamp.  I don’t think that the picture gives you a good perspective of how big this thing is – it’s huge!  A bit taller than your average Ommpa-Loompa, with a little less spray tan.  Those guys look like they’re made out of leather – kind of like your gramma because she tans too much.  ”You dropped your beige leather jacket, sir.”  Nah – that’s my gramma.  C’mon, granny!

The 8-Bit Dynamic Life Shirt is a wonderful geeky product for this year’s Valentine’s Day celebration.  These shirts are connected to each other, just like you’re connected to your loved one.  Both of you wear the shirts, and when you are far away from each other, you only have two and a half hearts.  But, when you’re close enough to touch each other, you are both revitalized with five hearts!  As you get closer to your love, you get more hearts.  Of course, there’s always an option for that sad sad person who hasn’t found their love yet.  If you buy the shirt and a $20 transmitter box, you can go next to that to revitalize.  But that’s not even cool, it’s just kind of weird.
