I am a pretty big fan of SiriusXM's Kids Place Live for many reasons, but mostly because it is hands-down the best media outlet providing today's family music makers the national exposure they deserve. The station brings the best in kindie rock and all-ages entertainment into the cars and living rooms across the country and save plenty of us parents from a backseat full of bored kids.

I've always loved peppering my daughters' wardrobes with just a few special handmade pieces from indie artists, from Courtney Chu to Ses Petites Mains and Baby Bean. I have a special place in my heart for wooden bowls. My Eastern European grandmother used to make these beautiful and elaborate green salads and serve them to us in small wooden bowls, so I've been looking for bowls that remind me of my sweet Bubbie ever since...to no avail. Until now. Why I didn't think to look to Etsy is beyond me.
