Toshiba Air Conditioning Systems

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been hard at work making some changes to the website, adding new products and updating the details of some older units. We are finally ready to launch our new range of Toshiba powered Inverter Air Conditioning Systems. This new range of systems we have on offer are our most energy efficient, smallest and lightest Toshiba powered systems that we have ever sold. Plus a fresh looking face plate to bring the units up to the modern day looks of most air conditioning systems. These are being shipped into us as we speak and we should have them ready to dispatch by the end of the week.

I’m sure everyone else noticed the bizarre occurrence over the weekend, all the clouds seemed to turn blue and the rain got warm and dry! It did seem like summer was upon us, until i woke up this morning to the sound of the drains dripping and a early morning downpour! Plus as far as i know the rain is back for the next two weeks, but at least we had one warm weekend in May!

Wine and Cellar Chillers

Yet again, another rainy weekend, my weather predictions for this week are going to be rain, rain and more rain, coming to yet another miserable 7th May bank holiday weekend. Trees are being blown down and roads are getting blocked all around our local area so it’s a good week for anyone with a wind turbine, not such a good week for anyone with solar panels! And as always, no matter what the weather our air source heat pumps are still churning away and efficiently heating peoples homes.

As the title suggests we have started stocking wine and cellar chillers on our web store, we have sourced these from J & E Hall and believe them to be the best value for money cellar chillers on the market. In other news, we have started updating the website to include the new ranges of units we are supplying, there is going to be a couple of small changes within each category, so once they have all changed over I’ll do a full update.

Is There Still A Hosepipe Ban?

Well unless you are not living in the UK at the moment, you will have definitely noticed how appalling the weather we have been having recently is. Especially in sunny South Wales – apart from a brief stint on Saturday morning, I’m pretty sure it has been raining all weekend, it would seem these drought weather warnings we had may turn out to be a bit of a damp squib (pardon the pun!) I give it until the next bank holiday weekend we are due on the 7th of May for the weather to get better though!

If you are unsure of my weather predicting abilities – and i wouldn’t blame you if you were, they have never known to be all that great! Hope everyone had a reasonable week following the Easter weekend, it did seem that everyone took a week off after the Easter holiday, can’t say i blame you! The weather here was shocking for anyone who went abroad with their week off, i know i would have if i remembered to book it. Plus if the money blues hadn’t already set in, a quick check on the MET Office page shows we are in for a cold, wet and windy week across the whole of the UK, with the only place getting above 10 degrees being the South West (Cornwall and Dorset).

Easter Weekend Washout

Following the glorious Sunshine of last year where the weather peaked at a fantastic 26 degrees, this weekend was mostly filled with torrential downpours and bitter whistling winds. Apart from the fairly awful weather I can only hope everyone had just as good a weekend as we all did, no more chocolate to be consumed for at least a month!

The pretty poor weather over the weekend has probably brought to light any water leaks you might have had in your house, and the cold would have brought up any condensation problems you might be having – if it did, its still not too late to get one of our home dehumidifiers perfect for getting rid of any excess humidity in your home, we also have industrial/swimming pool dehumidifiers for warehouses and swimming pools.

Well this week looks like its a bit of a turn up for the books! Who would have thought we would be having mid summer temperatures last week and the threat of snow this week? Since the ACR show last week, we have been in talks with a couple of portable air conditioning manufacturers and have launched a couple of new lines to our already brilliant range of portable air conditioning systems. The new ranges we have added to our website are moving more into the larger range of portable air conditioning systems after getting questions from people looking to cool down much larger areas than our existing units were able to do.

We have a new range of the traditional looking portable air conditioners with a capacity of up to 5Kw (a 40Sqm Room) which can be seen here

On top of this range of office portable air conditioning systems we have also launched a range of commercial portable systems, these units are suited more for cooling multiple offices from a plant style room or cooling down a warehouse/storage space. These units start at 7Kw (55Sqm room) and end at 10Kw (80Sqm room) All of which run off a 13a plug, so literally just plug and play units.

ACR Show 2012

Yesterday was a pretty busy day of going to the national ACR show in the NEC in Birmingham, well worth a visit just for the day, it’s a little bit too small to spend much more than a couple of hours there, but lots of very informative stands with plenty of new product ideas which we will start working into our existing lines hopefully in the next few weeks. Mostly new accessories and installation gear for professional engineers, however we did come across some new high capacity portable units which we will be looking in to next week and will hopefully be up and ready in time for the sweltering summer we are going to have, trust us on this – we’ve guaranteed it

New Air Conditioning Range and Extended Meaco Warranty

Little bit of an update this Friday afternoon,

We have launched a new range of air conditioning systems – the bravo fixed speed air conditioning system this is replacing our old Professional range of air conditioning systems. The bravo systems are smaller, quieter and more energy efficient than the Professional range. Currently they are only available in fixed speed form, but we will be launching the inverter range later in the year. The main advantage of the bravo system really is how small the indoor unit is compared to any of our other units.

Also another bit of good news this week – we launched the Meaco range of dehumidifiers to our website this year, Meaco have been so happy with the reliability of the units they are willing to offer an up to 5 year warranty on all of their dehumidifiers sold since October last year.
