The Trick To Dieting

By Ron Brouchard

Orange County Boot Camp instructor reveals the secret to dieting.

It seems like everyone is on a diet. Some are trying to lose weight, while others are trying to gain muscle. No matter what diet a person is on, it’s all about being healthy and having plenty of energy.

This cannot be further from the truth. Dieting means only one thing, and that is watching what you eat. Even lean and tone people diet. Prince Charles of England is on an organic diet, and body builders will be on a high protein diet. If you want to reduce weight you will be on a restricted diet that is all. This restriction is not on the quantity of food, only on the quality. All food contains calories, and choosing to eat something that is low in calories is what you will have to do. A simple illustration will help you understand this better.

One large chocolate sundae or shake typically gives around 700 calories. A Burger King whopper gives 800 Calories; whereas one half of a roasted chicken breast is only around a 150 Calories. If you put that in terms of fat, 3500 calories is one pound of fat. It is pretty simple to keep your stomach full of food without eating too many calories if you know what you are doing.

The problem arises when you don’t want to give up on something. If for example you are the sort of person who has an ice cream after dinner every day, it is going to be a little difficult for you to give it up, and compensating for this extra 500 to 700 calories is going to be difficult. You will probably have to skip one meal entirely and pick on the other one simply to satisfy your craving for sugar.

Being sensible when it comes to dieting is what is needed. You would not be dieting unless you thought that your health needed it in the first place. Finding alternatives that will give you what you want while making sure that your health does not suffer in the process like using alternatives for sugar whenever possible, or going in for low carb drinks or even making your own ice-cream using “safe” food is how you should think. Dieting can be very easy if you want it too. Or, it can be tremendously difficult if you don’t know what you are doing. As famous Mr Somebody or the other said “It is all in the mind.”

The perfect Irvine Boot Camp will have many times to workout. If not, then you need to choose another Orange County Boot Camp.

Sinusitis Cures Programs Should Include These 3 Simple Steps

By Bessie Jo Tillman

Consider the importance of adding antioxidant support to your package of "sinusitis cures".

If you’re expecting sinusitis cures from merely popping a pill, you most probably will be disappointed. But certain pills do hold some promise of helping your sinus problems.

Help can come in pill form.

That’s right. When your body gets worn down from lack of rest, stress, infections, and other assaults then problems like chronic sinusitis may persist because you need more concentrated nutrition than you can get from your food.

So taking nutritional supplements can greatly assist in answering the question, “Where do I find sinusitis cures?”

Antioxidants place at the top of the list for helping folks with sinus problems.

That’s the word from more than one health specialist and a host of professional researchers when it comes to helping to reverse your sinus problems.

What exactly is an antioxidant?

Antioxidants are the substances found in certain vitamins and minerals which help to eliminate “free radicals.”

And free radicals would be? When a molecule loses an electron it becomes a free radical. This structure makes the atom unstable. In order to find stability, these atoms then search for an electron to add to its structure.

So they grab it from anywhere they can which sets up a domino effect of making holes in your tissues. Free radicals are now believed to be the origin of a number of degenerative diseases, including cancer.

But free radicals can also damage your immune system. That opens the door for bacterial and viral infestations. And sinus problems accompany these health problems.

So consider supplementing with these top notch well-known antioxidants:

Vitamin C gladly donates that free electronic to keep those nasty free radicals from chewing up your cells.

According to the United States Government 60 mg of vitamin C in food and supplements supplies the amount you need daily.

Actually that’s a minimal amount to keep from developing scurvy, the vitamin C deficiency disease.

Antioxidants are just part of a healing plan for your sinusitis problems. So consider gradually increasing your vitamin C intake until you take 2,000 milligrams twice per day. Unfortunately the bowel may rebel to these larger doses of vitamin C.

If you develop diarrhea, you know you’ve exceeded the level of vitamin C that your bowel can handle. Of course you then decrease the dose of vitamin C to the amount that your bowel can handle.

Vitamin A ranks right up there with vitamin C in its ability to quench free radical damage. Many health professionals call vitamin A “the best insurance against cold and sinus trouble.” We all know that vitamin A is legendary in helping to keep your eyes healthy. Mucous membranes improve when they get adequate amounts of vitamin A.

In addition to eating green leafy vegetables and carrots which contain an abundance of vitamin A, you can improve sinus health by taking supplements of vitamin A.

Many natural health officials say that to make a difference in your sinus problems, you need to take large portions of this nutrient—up to 25,000 IU a day.

But avoid high doses of vitamin A if you are pregnant or nursing, no more than 5,000 units per day. Also, consult your doctor before taking large doses of vitamin A if you have liver disease or other diseases.

To give vitamins A and C a boost in the fight against free radical damage, add vitamin E, 400 to 800 IU to your daily intake.

Adding vitamins to your “sinusitis cures” repertoire is just part of a healthy life style program to heal and maintain sinus health. It’s an easy place to start since taking a few pills a day only takes a few seconds. Embrace a healthy lifestyle and healthy sinus program.

Dr. Bessie Jo Tillman, MD has spent over 30 years treating and advising folks about natural ways to heal chronic problems like sinusitis with amazing results. So she's sharing these great natural sinusitis cures with you. Her e-book, Sinusitis Remedies Galore contains a multitude of natural remedies for you to start using right now.

Prospect Not Buying? Here Is What To Do...

I use this question all the time, and I'm never surprised by how a prospect will immediately reveal the truth as to what is holding them up and what is going to stop them from ultimately moving forward.

Copyright (c) 2010 Mr. Inside Sales

We’ve all been there. You’re on the phone with a prospect, you’re asking for the deal, well sort of asking for the deal, and your prospect is just giving vague answers and mild put off’s. They say things like,

“Well, we haven’t had a chance to go through everything yet, but when my V.P. gets back from Europe, then we’ll...” or,

“You know we’re still looking at a couple of different options on this, but I do like how yours...” or,

“I haven’t yet heard back from the owner on this. He won’t be back in town until Friday and then we’ll have a meeting and I should have an idea...”

I’ll bet these all sound familiar, don’t they? They do because prospects have been using them since the beginning of time to stall or put off sales reps. And when they use them, nine times out of ten it means they really aren’t going to move forward.

While this is bad enough, what’s worse is how most (like 80%) of sales reps handle this. Instead of taking the direct approach (which we will go over in a moment), they will allow themselves to be put off and strung along. They reason that the prospect isn’t saying no yet, and that there might still be a chance for the deal. Heck, one out of 25 or so actually do sometimes end up buying so they’d better play along.

Well I don’t know about you, but for a Top producer, chasing and following up with 20 non-buyers is too demoralizing to go through. Top producers know a weak prospect when they hear one, and they would much rather know ahead of time who is leading them on and not likely to buy, and who might actually be a deal.

Now I’ve written a lot of techniques you can use to isolate objections and get your prospect to reveal the truth, but here is the one question that works the best. Now I’ll warn you - most sales reps would much prefer NOT to ask this question because they might get a negative response - in other words, the prospect might tell them why they aren’t ever really going to buy. But that’s exactly what the Top 20% want to know.

And wouldn’t you really like to know now rather than after chasing and following up and wasting all that time and precious energy? (I sure hope you answered yes...)

So here’s the golden question that will always get your prospect to reveal exactly why they aren’t ever going to move on your product or service:

“(Prospect), from your viewpoint, what do you think might stand in the way of your company (or you) moving forward with this?”

Now hit your mute button, shut up and take some notes. If you deliver this question in the right way, and then really listen to your prospect, I guarantee they will tell you exactly why they aren’t going to buy.

I use this question all the time, and I’m never surprised by how a prospect will immediately reveal the truth as to what is holding them up and what is going to stop them from ultimately moving forward. Some of the more common answers I hear are:

- They were just in the information gathering stage and weren’t ready to make a decision in the first place. - Once they found out how much it cost, they decided to go elsewhere or do it in-house. - They were just looking to compare quotes and have someone who can do it cheaper. - They aren’t the real decision maker and the one who is has something completely different in mind.

Now I’m sure you can expand this list by at least three or four, but I’ll bet this covers much of what you eventually hear. My question is: “When you get a prospect who is stalling, wouldn’t it be better to know this as soon as possible and move on?”

That answer is “Yes” for a Top 20% producer. And the more you begin using this question, the more you’ll understand why.

Lake Fishing Trout - Catching An Elusive Prize

By Phil Jupp

If you enjoy lake fishing on your favorite lake, weather it is fly fishing, bait casting or with your favorite lure. Then this article is for you. It has heaps of tips and tricks for you to improve your catch.

Lake trout are kind of rare. They live mainly in the cold, deep lakes of North America. They also tend to stay away from the surface of the water, and so hooking lake trout takes some serious skill.

Lake fishing for trout requires a fisherman to take time to think about weather, wind, the depth of the water, and the habits of the trout all at the same time. Lake trout thrive in water that is up to 60 feet deep. The next time you are out on a boat in a deep, cold lake and you want to try your hand at lake fishing, there are a few things you need to think about in order to meet the challenge head on.

Lake fishing for trout requires a light, flexible rod and reel and a thin, light fishing line. Avoid using a heavy fishing line at all costs when you are out for trout of any kind, including lake trout.

The fishing line needs to drop to 40-60 feet into the lake in order to find the trout. A heavy line is not recommended because it drags in the water and therefore has to work harder to reach the bottom. In addition, if you are using a heavy fishing line and thick rod, it is more likely that the fisherman will not feel a tug on the line.

When lake fishing for trout, it is important to remember to troll slowly. Trolling, or moving the boat through the water while a fishing line drops in the water. Trolling slowly allows you to successfully gauge when your line hits the bottom of the lake. Moving slowly also ensures that your line doesn’t get snagged up.

A depth finder can be an important tool in helping you judge when your line hits the bottom and can help you to judge where schools of trout are likely to be found since they prefer water to be at least 40-60 feet deep. You surely cannot find schools of trout using just your eyes. Lake trout are most plentiful in spring.

In the summer, lake fishing for trout is most successful in the early morning, between dawn and 10:00 a.m. Trout also bite when the surface of the water is dead calm and when the air pressure is high. Trout live in highly oxygenated water and are often found on the windward side of the lake.

The team at http://www.trout-fishingtips.com are all expert trout fisherman and have put together a wealth of information for you to read. There is plenty of hot tips on different techniques, types of trout, lures, lake fishing and much more.
Four Great Reasons To Have MotorBike Insurance

By Stewart Wrighter

Motorbike insurance is a must-have for anyone operating a motorcycle. This article discussed some of the best reasons to obtain the proper levels of insurance and is filled with knowldege gained from experience and heartache.

If age equals experience, I am now of the age when I feel old enough to tell people about the shortcomings of my younger years. I am an avid motorcyclist. I have been since the age of 12 when my father first introduced me to a Honda 150cc motorbike. The only deal he made with me was that I had to pay for my own motorbike insurance. As a youngster, that task was more easily said than done and, as a result, I was often left with having to make a decision about going against my father’s wish or riding without the proper types of motorbike insurance.

The first reason you need to have motorbike insurance is to protect yourself. Riding a motorbike can be a dangerous act and one that can go wrong at any point in time. I used to ride in the countryside all of the time and I would constantly not be able to react quickly enough to the changing road and terrain. On an average day I would take spills 5 times. Falling off of a moving motorbike 5 times a day is a recipe for disaster. One crash could have cost me quite a bit of money in order to be able to fix my own motorbike. It was money I did not have and money I could not have afforded myself the opportunity to have raised in the short term.

The second reason to have motorbike insurance is the protection of others. As I mentioned above, I would regularly crash my motorbike 5 times in a countryside ride. That almost always meant that I was riding through a fence or crashing into a stationary object. Those objects cost money and money is something that I did not have at that point in my life. I was aware that there was a deductible on the policy of one hundred dollars but I was not that concerned about that because I knew that it would be a much smaller amount than any damage that I might have caused as a result of the crash.

The third reason is simply the affordable cost of motorbike insurance. There are a wide range of options to help make a plan affordable. If you find that the expense of the policy is too high a rider can raise the deductible amount to the point that the expense of the policy is reduced. I was forced t have a high deductible policy when I was younger, which meant that I would have paid up to two hundred and fifty dollar per accident before the insurance would have begun to help out.

The fourth reason is simple peace of mind while enjoying an activity that I loved. I find it amazing that there are people willing to risk everything and to put others in jeopardy of financial ruin by operating any moving vehicle without having proper insurance. Knowing that I had the proper insurance to protect me and anyone around me from that type of disaster made riding the motorbike all the more fun for me and allowed my parents to wish me well as they watched me go out the door each day.

Stewart Wrighter recently reviewed motorbike insurance for a trade magazine. He found motorbike insurance quotes to be quite affordable.

State Of The Reunion: Chad And Jeremy

By Bruce Hathaway

Article about the 2008 reunion of the legendary duo Chad and Jeremy.

The Ark is a time honored classic of the singer songwriter duo, Chad and Jeremy. I uncovered the record shortly after hearing “Rest in Peace” from their previous release (Of Cabbages and Kings, 1967) via the radio. The song rambles through the story of a headstone engraver who takes a negative view of his occupation. The careers of Chad and Jeremy were overshadowed by the British Invasion of music.

Hearing “Rest in Peace” was one of those I-always-thought-those-guys-were-lame-but-they-sound-just-like-what-every-band-is-trying-to-do-right-now moments. Unashamedly pretty melodies. Humor and sophistication. Folky acoustic guitars. Unison singing. Actually kind of…gentle. But fiercely creative. Taking a song down any garden path it might want to follow, and somehow guiding it home at dusk. Anathema to Steve Albini, no doubt—and not a moment too soon.

I picked up a vinyl copy of Cabbages (still easy to find—many copies minted, few sold), enjoyed it mightily, and with some difficulty, finally scored a CD of The Ark, available then only as a Japanese import. I was truly unprepared for the wonders of the latter, especially since Chad and Jeremy had been ignored by the press for so long. In its sheer herding of unlikely opposites into an impossible-to-imagine unity, it rivaled other contemporary benchmarks: Forever Changes, Head, Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Like the first of those, its evocative, acoustic-based tunes are supported by tasteful arrangements (courtesy of California legends Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, along with Chad) that owe as much to easy listening as to psychedelia. Like the second, it never takes itself too seriously; the duo are amused at their own celebrity, and are not afraid to be seen having fun. Like the last, it partakes of the excesses of its era but remains so ineffably British—so dry and whimsical—that hippie millennialism can never budge its essential down-to-earthness.

Chad still seems bitter about the dismal reception accorded The Ark, and who can blame him? Apparently the session’s producers, assuming they had a blank check, spent a little too lavishly and alienated Columbia execs. (Usher was fired.) C and J’s audience was probably unready to be dragged into the post-Pepper era. Would a hipper label have offered nurture instead of neglect? Perhaps.

At any rate, after two LPs that left their fans baffled, Chad and Jeremy were over, never even having made it out of the ’60s. Jeremy pursued acting, with some success; Chad continued to perform, arrange and produce, landing a job as director of music on the Smothers Brothers’ TV review.

Fast-forward to October 2008. I first heard word of a reunion from my friend George’s wife, who insisted that George and I go as a “date.” So we made the trek to the Cutting Room on a balmy Friday eve. What to expect? The crowd gave some pause: They made us feel young, and that’s not so easy to do.

The good news: These guys sound as good as they ever did; they are pristine performers, still in fine voice. The really good news: They didn’t slight the psychedelic end of their career. I was surprised by flawless acoustic renditions of “Progress Suite,” “Pipe Dream,” and “The Ark.” (They also perform “Rest in Peace” occasionally.) The concert was laid out as a history of the duo, the numbers checker-boarded with sketches of notable stops along the road. The fondness of the two for each other, for the audience, and even for showbiz itself, felt real. Jeremy is the more sober one: He’ll begin a story and Chad will interrupt with comments that border on the cynical. During an encore, people began shouting out titles, and Chad responded by bellowing, “No requests! This isn’t a joy-ride for heavens sake.” Beautiful.

Secure in themselves, they can Chad-and-Jeremize virtually anything without embarassment: Their relaxed rendition of “Purple Haze” (!) had a unique feel, as did their “I’ll Be Back.”

Clearly they have re-embraced the acoustic aesthetic: two guys, two voices, two guitars (and the occasional piano or mandolin), no ornamentation. C and J seem to like it that way, still being somewhat aggrieved at the insensitivity of their producers. One result is a new CD (Ark-eology) of some of their best songs, re-recorded without overdubs.

Now the duo is probably reveling in the kind of recognition that they deserved in the beginning: They’re making good money (not always the case back in the day), they’re controlling their own recordings and the pace of their touring, and their fans have caught up to them.

A regular programme of duct cleaning by a specialist cleaning service familiar with a variety of materials can help protect the vulnerable and elderly from air-borne infections in residential and care homes.

Copyright (c) 2010 Alison Withers

Many commercial buildings have a duct system installed and they are used for heating, ventilation or for air conditioning.

Duct systems are not only found in offices and factories, they are also used in hospitals, schools and multiple occupation residential and care homes for the elderly.

The materials used for their components can be anything from metal to fibreglass to plastic channels, depending on their age, and sometimes plastic-covered coiled wire tubes.

The typical system will include the ducting, inspection hatches, junctions and duct branches, where the ducts are directed through all parts of the building as well as air blowers for moving the air through the system and smoke or fire dampers.

There are several good reasons for ensuring that a duct system is working well and in good repair.

Perhaps the most important is that the quality of air in the system needs to be maintained for the health of the building’s occupants.

This can be particularly important in the case of the residential or care home, where the occupants are likely to be elderly, frail and less mobile than younger people. Adequate heating and good air quality are plainly going to be essential to people with a higher than average vulnerability to infections.

The residents’ families and loved ones will want to be assured that they are comfortable and receiving the best possible care in the best possible environment.

The managers, and owners, of such buildings plainly have a duty to ensure this and a ventilation or duct system that works at optimal efficiency is important to ensuring the enviroment they are living in is as healthy and germ-free as possible.

The efficiency of such systems is also important for controlling energy costs and preventing the risk of fire.

One care home organisation recently discovered that it could make significant efficiency savings by using a common approach to the regular cleaning of its extract systems. So it put in place a centrally-negotiated contract with a specialist cleaning companyfor its entire estate to improve both cost and quality control.

The chosen specialist company worked to HVCA (Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association) quality standards and had the technical knowledge and specialised equipment to deal with duct systems that had been constructed at different times from a variety of materials.

Its first task was to thoroughly inspect existing systems and identify any problem areas.

In one building it identified that rubber seals connecting ducts were perished and needed replacing. It also identified that parts of the system were inaccessible and suggested the installation of additional inspection hatches.

Once work had been carried out to repair and improve the duct system the company arranged a regular programme of inspection and maintenance and an annual ductwork cleaning programme to ensure that the system remained both efficient and free of any build-up of residues that could affect the health and safety of the residents.

A regular programme of maintenance, inspection and ductwork cleaning will ensure the duct system is free of mould, dust mite and other build-up that can affect the air quality or increase the risk of fire.

The vulnerable and elderly residents residential and care homes can be assured of protection from air-borne infection via dust systems in residential and care homes if the owners have a regular programme of ductwork cleaning by a specialist cleaning service, reports writer Ali Withers.

3 Reasons To Speak To An Accident Attorney As Soon As Possible If You Are Hurt In An Accident

By Jim Brown

Three reasons why it is a good idea to simply talk to an accident lawyer if you are hurt in a car accident.

If you are hurt in a car accident you are going to be worried about getting better, not necessary how it is going to be paid for.Unfortunately, the insurance company knows that and will capitalize on it. That’s why it is important to talk to an injury attorney as soon as possible. It’s one of the only ways to make sure that you get enough money to help pay medical bills.

1. You might not have to retain an injury attorney! Hold on, you may be thinking, “If I don’t need to hire an accident lawyer, why would I talk to one as soon as possible?” Oftentimes, the damages are small enough that taking the claim into the court room isn’t really necessary. A lot of injury attorney will offer free consultations because they know that not every accident victim will need the help of a Missouri injury lawyer. But, if you don’t speak to an injury attorney, it could be very difficult to determine if you need an attorney on your side. As a result, it’s a good idea to talk to an accident lawyer to find out if you need to hire her or not.

2. The less you know, the harder your claim will be to make successful. Do you know what to avoid saying to the adjuster or what treatments you need to keep track of. It is important for you to keep thorough track of all of your medical expenses, even if you do not hire an injury attorney. If you don’t have accurate records of your ailments and treatments then you may not get enough help to pay your medical bills from the insurance company. You may also be making statements to the insurance adjusters that they could use against you. If you talk to a lawyer first, they can help put you on the right path and direct you so that you do not inadvertently ruin your case!

3. The insurance company is going to start the fight straight away As soon as you get into a car accident, the insurance company will begin procedures to assess your case and determine how to best escape responsibility for your injuries and damages. A lot of times, the insurance company is not going to want to pay for all of your medical expenses. In order to gear up for this, it may be helpful for you to at least speak to an attorney who has experience fighting the insurance company and can tell you what to expect.

The Three Bogus Myths About Home-Based Travel Agents

By Kelly Monaghan

Many people who think about becoming home-based travel agents (and who would be very happy doing so) are put off by some bogus, but very powerful myths that are floating around out there. This article examine the three biggest myths about home-based travel agents and punctures them once and for all.

If you love to travel you may have considered becoming a home-based travel agent.

But then you may have decided against making the move because you fell victim to one or more of the three big myths about home-based travel agents.

So let’s examine—and explode—those myths once and for all.

Myth # 1: Travel Agents Are A Dying Breed

Nonsense! The media bases this claim on the fact that storefront travel agencies are in decline and that is an undeniable fact.

Why are storefront agencies shutting down? Because airlines no longer pay base commissions on airline tickets.

In that environment, it makes no sense to maintain the expensive overhead of those storefront operations, so travel agencies close. That’s easy for the media to see.

But what the media can’t see very easily is that many of the owners of those agencies didn’t retire. They simply set up home-based businesses and continue to sell high ticket, high margin products like cruises and tours.

Also, many of their employees, not to mention the legion of newcomers to the industry, did the same.

The result: home-based travel agents are the fastest growing segment of the travel industry.

Myth #2: Everyone Buys Travel On The Internet

Again, nonsense!

Yes, a lot of travel is sold on the Internet. But travel agents still sell 55% of all airline tickets, the easiest travel product to sell online.

Travel agents also sell 73 percent of all packaged tours and 77 percent of all cruises.

Those figures represent huge markets and billions of dollars!

And because there are fewer storefront agencies out there and because complex, high ticket travel products, not to mention complete itineraries that might involve a dozen or more different travel products, are hard to sell on the Internet, home-based agents are rushing to fill this gap in the marketplace.

Myth #3: Home-Based Travel Agents Can’t Compete On Price

Once again, nonsense!

Often times, a home-based travel agent can get you the best price, especially if they specialize in the area you are interested.

Also, most suppliers, not wanting to alienate this very important sales channel, will protect their home-based agents.

That is, if you find a lower price on the Internet, the home-based agent can turn to the supplier and meet or beat it!

Then again, most professional home-based travel agents don’t want to even try to compete on price. The value they add with their superior knowledge, one to one customer service, and personalized attention more than justify paying a few extra dollars for a trip you know will meet your needs and expectations.

Professional travel agents know that people who always insist on the lowest possible price are the worst kind of customers to have and they are more than happy to let them take their business elsewhere.

So if you’ve been thinking of turning your love of travel into a lucrative part- or full-time business, don’t be fooled by the myths and the mythmakers.

Do your homework and you’ll find that being a home-based travel agent is one of the best ways to “follow your bliss” into self employment.

How To Prevent Sweating In A Job Interview

By Amanda Groves

You have just secured an important job interview, nerve wracking enough on its own. But not only are you getting anxious about the interview itself and how you will come across but you have the added stress of hoping your excessive sweating will not show through your clothes and even worse, smell. Find out how to prevent sweating on your big day and win that job!

Job interviews can be nerve-wracking especially in these recessionary times when landing a well paying job is difficult, to say the least. When answering the questions you will feel so much pressure during the job interview that sweating in the palms, armpits and body is commonly experienced. As a result, your anxiety will increase until the point where you may waffle or even worse, struggle to provide an answer.

It doesn’t follow that this will happen to you during your important job interview. When you know how to prevent sweating before, during and after the interview, the job can be yours.

First prepare for the questions:

I must emphasize that sweating is often caused by feelings of anxiousness during an all important occasion, be it for a job interview or for a hot date. So the more relaxed and confident you are, the less prone you are to sweating in any part of your body. You will come out smelling like roses, too.

It is a good idea to be thoroughly prepared for your job interview which will improve your confidence.

The following actions should ensure you are well prepared:

- Research the job responsibilities, the Company and its background in question and try to anticipate possible questions during the interview

- Practice your answers to the possible questions either in front of the mirror or with a friend acting as the job interviewer.

- Concentrate on being confident in your abilities, skills and talents that can be applied to the challenges and demands of the job

You will be surprised at how confident and relaxed you will be during the job interview with the secure knowledge that you have adequately prepared for it. Your confidence and Charisma will draw the interviewers to you. They will not even know that you have a sweating problem!

Adopt lifestyle habits:

The preparation for a job interview is not all you need to think about in how to prevent sweating. You also have to adopt certain lifestyle measures to alleviate sweating, of which the following are the most effective:

- Avoid sugary, spicy and salty foods as well as caffeine and MSG-laden foods as these can cause the sympathetic nerve system to go on overdrive. You will then sweat excessively during the job interview, which will be to your detriment.

- Eat foods that can calm the sympathetic nerve system. These foods include whole grains, peas, nuts, eggs, bananas, carrots, sweet potatoes, oranges and watermelons, to name a few.

- Wear loose clothing that allows your skin pores to breathe. During the day of the interview itself, it is a good idea to take a cold shower, put on business attire that allows the body to breathe such as clothes made from silks, satins, wool and cotton, and also apply the right kind of antiperspirant.

Be sure that you give yourself plenty of time to get to the interview, so that you are not unnecessarily stressed worrying about if you will be on time or late.

During the interview, just be calm, cool and collected by going back to your answers and resume. You will quickly come to realize that your preparation for the job interview was well worth the effort.
