The author of +Extract, the free software that rips FTA recordings from a Sky+ hard disk, has handed over his prize possession to us! Official development and support has ended but we are now the place to download and discuss existing +Extract software.

Copy+ 1.2.0.1 is now out of Beta and has had a minor change made in the form of version 1.2.0.2 (support for Sky Italia).

Copy+ now has a new URL - skycopyplus.co.uk - and a new look to the site. There is also a forum available for discussion of Copy+ and Sky hard drive copying in general.

Copy+ 1.1.0.9 is now available as the current stable version, and a brand spanking beta of 1.2.0.1 is also available, which does away with the need to check compatibility between boxes.

A beta version of Copy+ 1.1.0.9 has been released. This version corrects a fatal flaw in 1.1.0.8 which meant all recordings on the destination drive were unplayable.

Copy+ licenced to XtendedPlay

XtendedPlay have been granted an official licence to use Copy+. With this they are able to offer complete Sky+/HD upgrade packages - you simply send your Sky box to them and they will return it with a replacement drive and all your recordings copied onto it.

A beta version of Copy+ 1.1.0.8 has been released and is REQUIRED for Sky HD with EPG 5.02.eHD and later. It includes support for DirecTV DVR in the US and SkyLA in Latin America as well as various other changes. Version 1.1.0.6 of Copy+ is now out of Beta and therefore becomes the current STABLE release.
