This is a historic time for Houston football because this is the time of the year where the annual collapse of the Texans occurs. This year is different because of the defensive high rankings and they also have the number three rushing offense with Arian Foster just getting started along with Ben Tate scoring touchdowns weekly. Andre Johnson has been out for weeks and they still have been winning games by more than 20+ points. This is an impressive feat because he is the best wide receiver in the NFL. The only problem that the Texans have now is Matt Schaub is injured severely and most likely will sit out the season. This means Matt Leinart, a former Heisman winner, will be the quarterback of the Houston Texans starting next week in Jacksonville. This will not be that big of a problem because Andre Johnson is coming back and the #3 rushing offense will lead the way and potentially put the Texans has the number one rushing team by season's end. Also, no one on the number one ranked defense is out and they will just get better. Even better, the Houston Texans have the second easiest schedule behind the New England Patriots. Houston is in position as the number one seed in the AFC in november and the injury of Matt Schaub will only motivate the Houston Texans to accomplish their season goals.
