CornerClick has gone open source.

You can now download the CornerClick source and fork at will on github: github.com/gschueler/CornerClick

I've decided to release the source under the Apache 2 License.

It's been a long time coming, but better late than never. I will try to move some of the old web site pages over to github as the authoritative source, but for now greg.vario.us/cornerclick will stay up.

For a bit of a history tale, see the History.md file.

Thank you to everyone who has supported CornerClick over the years (via donation, a nice email, or contributing localization). It has been a side project for me, and so has not received as much attention as it should have, and for that I apologize. I hope you still find it as useful as I do.

Snow Leopard Support: Fixed visual glitches, updated to 64-bit compatibility
Fixed a tiny bug with scrolling behavior
Added setting for duration of the delay for Hover actions

It took a looong time to get this pushed out of the door, and for that I apologize. Once I started fixing it up for Snow Leopard it just snowballed: pref pane was wrong size in SL System prefs, visual issues with popups, scrolling behavior, converting from nib to xib and setting up all of the Localizations again, making it both 32 and 64-bit compatible, etc. Yikes!

I only got to add one feature request about controlling the delay when using Hover actions; that is now a (global) setting in the preference pane:

On a side note, I think I will make CC open source prior to, or in lieu of, the next release. This will open it up for enhancement and repair from the community, which would really help me out. I will have even less time to work on CC in the future, but I'd love to have it stay useful and in use.

This is a minor bug fix for the annoying "version 0.0" bug which a number of people have run across.

Thanks to LW for the kind donation! Is it a coincidence that I received a donation today and subsequently released a new version? I also received another bug report for the "0.0" bug.

Perhaps the combination of the two brought forth a new reserve of will power (to stay up late).

CornerClick 0.8.1 released - Leopard Spaces compatibility

CornerClick 0.8.1 is now available.

This adds support for Leopard's Spaces feature, so that actions can be invoked from any Space.

Also, the CornerClick blog has moved to http://cornerclick.blogspot.com for the time being. Updates and news can be viewed here, and the RSS feed is available.

Note: This release is only for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Version 0.8 is available for 10.3 and 10.4. (Download CornerClick-0.8.tar.bz2)
