I’d like to take a moment to speak to you about the multitude of other uses for vinyl graphics.  The most common use, through this web site, is for decorating Cornhole boards.  That’s just one way you can put them to use though.  Do you own your own small business?  Have you given any thought to putting your business name, web site and contact information on the back window of your vehicle?  If you think about it, that’s some seriously low cost advertising for your business, and it’s always promoting you wherever you travel.

However, this past weekend, it was near 80º here in South Carolina and we actually had some free time around the house.  This, in and of itself, is amazing.  Not the temperature, but the free time.  I was busy cooking up a mess of BBQ for the family to enjoy while watching Wrestlemania 27.  Now, I could lie to you and say we only watch it because the boys like it, but I won’t.  I like watching it too.

Anyhow, it was around noon, and the wife said “Why don’t you get the boards out and we’ll go play for a bit?”  Stunned, I ran out and got them.  She almost never wants to play it seems.  Apparently the nice weather went to her head, but nonetheless, I was getting the boards out.

We played a few rounds with the kids, for about 2 hours, and I realized that I really have lost my touch with the game.  I made a few shots, but mostly slid my bags off the board.  This was endlessly amusing to my kids, and I got more trash talk from them than I ever heard in my life.  But it was FUN and that was the point.  FUN.  As a family, it was a blast.

The main thing I wanted you take away from this is that you should be playing with your family and friends whenever you get the chance.  It doesn’t have to be in a tournament, or competition even.  Just get your loved ones together and toss some bags.  It’s simply a great way to spend time together and hey, if you win, you’ve got bragging rights until the next time, right?
