I. Analyze coronary artery anatomy, pathophysiology and disease pattern.

II. Select the appropriate patients and identify how to prepare them for
Cardiac CT.

III. Use the correct technique to perform Cardiac CT. Compare the clinical
utility of Cardiac CT with that of stress tests and cardiac catheterization.

IV. Describe how a 64-slice volume CT scanner will affect Cardiac CT.

V. Identify the role of Cardiac CT patients pre and post ablation for atrial
fibrillation.

VI. Evaluate the use of Cardiac CT in triaging patients with chest pain in the
emergency department.

VII. Recognize the clinical significance of Cardiac CT findings and how they
relate to the practice of cardiology.

VIII. Discuss the development and management of a Cardiac CT service.

No special educational preparation is required for the CME activity.
