Affordable Option to our Standard Printed Binders

You can think of it as a hybrid-binder because it has the same great qualities as our standard FlexHinge binder from Corporate Image...great printing, a 3 ring mechanism, but it's made from 18 or 24 point paperboard and can come with pockets or without. It's really a cross between a pocket folder and a binder...we call it a Presentation Binder and it's affordably priced to funciton as a binder, but save you money. It comes with a 1/2 inch, 3/4 or 1 inch round ring that mounted on the spine. Pockets are available on one side or both and we offer tab dividers to accessorize your binder, as well as a printed disk holder.

They're a sturdy solution when you want to present materials for conferences, seminars or for employees, whether it be new employees or benefit information for health plans. As always, Corporate Image has you covered. It's what we do and we do it well...print and manufacture custom binders, tabs, folders and boxes. Our press is devoted to printing just covers and we've been doing it for over 30 years.

Print should be part of your brand strategy, as it is a very effective way to get your presentation into your customer's hands. As more and more information migrates to the web, it becomes more important for your name and message to stand out from the digital clutter.

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/eco-friendly-binder-wins-best-binder-in-the-world.cfm

One of our client’s binder projects was awarded “World's Best Binder” by Eska Graphic Board of the Netherlands. The judges were impressed with the innovative design, the different decorating methods used and overall quality. Corporate Image was the first to pioneer this unique binder style, which has come to be known as a flush-cut binder.

To produce it, we start by applying a printed cover and liner to an oversized binders board. Next, we trimmed the board so the cover and liner are flush with the board edge. We use natural paper that can be offset printed using soy inks. The result is an interesting blend of board, paper and ink that reveals the core of the binders board.

In addition to the construction, what made this environmental binder stand out among the other entries was that this project called for debossing, foil-stamping and printing, which showcased the designer’s artwork. It also had a very eco-friendly look because he chose a natural colored, recycled paper that printed beautifully and didn’t need lamination.

This particular binder style is used by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife because of its eco-friendly qualities: it’s made from 100% post-consumer wasted binders board, printed on recycled paper with soy inks and is 100% recyclable.

Custom Printed Binders and Tabs Strengthen Your Brand

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/-presentation-products-designed-for-success-.cfm

A custom printed binder can make all the difference whether your products get noticed in the marketplace

Precision Set Fine Jewelry Works wanted to showcase their stunning designs in a binder that reflected their elegance and beauty. They chose a full-color, round back style binder with an image of a ring that wrapped around the spine to the back cover.

The artwork, highlighted by the beautiful printing on the cover of your 3 ring binder, draws ones attention to the gem stones on the ring which seem to sparkle. It truly invites a person to pick up the binder and when they do, they will be impressed by the design of the tab dividers, each featuring a different piece of jewelry photographed in black and white. On the back of each tab is a succinct messaging in white type on a black background that reinforces the product and brand. The entire package is complete with an abstract color photo that spans the interior liner from edge to edge and perfectly complements the black and white tab dividers.

This is one of the most beautiful projects we’ve seen at Corporate Image and points to the added value that comes from collateral materials that work together. It’s a wonderful example of how design and artwork cab contribute to the overall success of a sales campaign.

Tension Envelope company wanted Corporate Image to create a custom printed folder that would hold their envlelope samples, make a positive imprssion and brand their company. Working with our internal package designer, we created a pair of folders for the project; one to hold the samples and another to present important product information. The sample folder was customized with a series of sturdy slots that held the envelopes firmly in place, as well as neatly organizing them.

Not only was the folder durable and functional, it was impressive from a design perspective. The artwork on the folder cover was visually very effective and the printed liner offered another opportunity to make an impact.

Best Binder in North America

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/best-binder-in-north-america.cfm

Corporate Image is pleased to be recognized two years in a row for outstanding craftsmanship and product design in a worldwide competition. It's our good fortune to be able to work with talented creatives from across the country to make their designs a reality.

The 2011 and 2012 award-winning binder style was originally developed by the Corporate Image design team in 2008 to be 100 percent recyclable. Free from toxic plastics, the binder is made from 100 percent post-consumer waste binder board and printed with soy-based inks. The ring mechanism is nickel-plated metal, which can easily be removed for recycling.

This binder design has been used by numerous clients since 2008 and has been well received. In fact, the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) held a nationwide competition to find the greenest, most appropriate binder for their use. The contest outlined 25 criteria that needed to be met and this binder met them all! Today Corporate Image produces this binder for the department of U.S. Fish and Wildlife.

How is it made? First, we apply a printed cover and liner to an oversized binders board. Then we trim the board so the cover and liner are flush with the board edge. We use natural paper with 10, 30 or 100% recycled content that can be offset printed using soy inks. The result is an interesting blend of board, paper and ink that reveals the core of the binder’s board. Laminate it or not — it’s a great look and 100% recyclable.

It's an environmentally correct binder made from 100% recycled board with a sheet of recycled paper adhered to it. Decorated with foil stamping, printing and debosing, it was truly a striking example of good design and what can be achieved using graphic board.
Planning a Conference? Go Green with Corporate Image Binders

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/planning-a-conference-go-green-with-our-binders.cfm

More conference planners are going green to cut down the amount of waste that is generated from these events. One example is the transition from conventional vinyl binders, which are typically used to hold conference materials, to a 100% recycled binder. Just this step alone will dramatically reduce what goes in the landfills, as well as eliminate harmful toxins that are a by-product of producing PVC binders. When planning a conference, consider a Corporate Image binder made from recycled graphic board that can be recycled again. Another great advantage is the versatility that comes with an earth friendly alternative to vinyl. You have the complete design flexibility to create attractive and impactful binders that will get attention in the marketplace and make a lasting impression on your audience.

Whether it is cash flow management, education planning, retirement planning, investment planning, risk management and insurance planning, tax planning, estate planning and more, each client needs a detailed strategy tailored to their specific situation and goals. Because financial planners manage many important documents, organization is absolutely necessary for both you and your client.

Using a customized financial planning 3-ring binder or pocket folder is a productive way to do financial plans and serve your clients better, while maximizing productivity and the associated productivity. We find that many financial planners choose a three-ring binder with a D-ring and custom-made tabs for multiple section plans. D-ring binders tend to keep pages flatter, and they close more easily than regular three-ring binders.

We ensure a professional image so that your client is presented with an excellent image of your success. We're pleased to present our very first Product Feature Video showcasing a beautiful - and functional - pocket folder we recently produced for Student Assistance Foundation. In the video you'll meet Lori Owens, one of our dedicated sales representatives, and find out how Neenah's Conservation paper was a perfect fit for this client's environmental and end use goals.

No trees were harmed in the making of this folder! Neenah's Conservation paper is made of 100% post consumer fiber, completely recyclable and backed by certification from a leading responsible forestry organization.
Corporate Image: Explaining the terms of Green Printing

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/corporate-image_explaining-the-terms-of-green-printing.cfm

You are looking for a green printer that produces eco-friendly custom binders, folders, or other marketing materials but there are many “sustainable” terms floating around. What do they really mean? Post consumer waste vs recycled content... as a green printer, Corporate Image can help. Look here for a list of eco-friendly vocabulary to know and view the Eco-table that helps you to choose the best environmental options for your eco-friendly products.

Post Consumer Waste, PCW

Post consumer waste comes from products that have been made and used, then recycled. This is the last part of the material usage and can also be called “closing the loop”. As a green printer Corporate Image has done projects such as the eco-friendly custom box for the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority on Smart Paper’s Genesis Paper which was made with 100% PCW.

Recycled Content

Recycled content products are made from materials that would otherwise have been discarded. These products can be made from anything you recycle like soda cans and newspapers. There are more than 4,500 recycled-content products available, and this number continues to grow.

End of Life and Recyclability

Recyclable products can be collected and remanufactured into new products after they’ve been used. These products may or may not contain recycled content in the initial manufacturing and only benefit the environment if people recycle them after use. An example is Corporate Image’s eco-friendly custom folder crafted with Neenah Conservation Paper, which does contain 100% PCW, for the Student Assistance Foundation. This folder is 100% Recyclable.

Certifications

FSC Certified- Certifies sustainable forest management through a set of principles, criteria, and standards.
Green-E Certification- Verifies certified renewable energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions

Processed Chlorine Free, PCF

Recycled content paper can be processed chlorine free but must meet all the required guidelines set by the EPA for recycled or post-consumer content. PCF papers have not been rebleached with chlorine containing compounds, and a minimum of 30% post consumer content is required. As an option, Corporate Image offers Neenah Conservation Paper for your custom binders, folders and other materials which can all be PCF certified.

Shipping and Product Travel

As mentioned on the Corporate Image: Sustainable Products for your Sustainable Projects blogs, shipping and product travel are important considerations when choosing the product for your project. Located in the midwest, Corporate Image both manufactures and ships from a central location. We also choose paper mills that are close by, for example, our neighbor, Neenah Paper, located in Wisconsin. Not only does this greatly cut down on the carbon footprint and oil dependency by choosing a product with less travel distance, but it also benefits you because it makes the turnaround shorter and shipping cheaper.

In order to see the environmental options for your eco-projects view the Eco-table for more information on products used in custom binders, folders, sales boxes, tabs, and software packaging. Here you will find a visual with different material options for each green printer project.

Corporate Image: Eco-friendly Custom Box on Smart Papers Genesis Paper

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/sustainable-products-for-your-sustainable-projects.cfm

Corporate Image has searched out companies making sustainable papers to use in our custom eco-friendly products. Smart Papers is another sustainable company that, as a green printer, Corporate Image likes to partner! Located in Hamilton, Ohio- about 10 hours away from the Corporate Image location in the heart of the midwest, this company has been in business for over 110 years. We choose to partner with them because, like us, they are dedicated to creating sustainable products using sustainable practices.

Smart Papers has made large strides toward greening their company and products. They strive to lessen landfill dependency by being one of the largest users of coated paper waste. Over 20 years ago they produced the first 100% Recycled Premium Text and Cover paper brand. They also use recycled fiber throughout the entire product line of fine papers and continually strive for green growth. The company is growing greener all the time with Smart Paper’s 20 Year Green Performance, mapping the company standards on fiber, pulp, chemicals, solid waste and more, and their two current green goals for energy and water reduction.

The Sustainable Paper we choose: Smart Paper’s Genesis Paper
Corporate Image especially likes Genesis Paper, one of the many eco-friendly paper options that Smart Papers produces. It’s a responsible sheet, offered in a versatile pallet of colors with smooth and vellum finishes that ensure great ink holdout and consistent on-press performance. Available in 17 colors, 9 weights, and 4 finishes, it is a laser-guarenteed companion. View the Genesis Paper Specification Sheet for more information.

Points of Sustainability:
100% post-consumer fibers
Entire grade FSC Certified
Acid-free and archival for protection

Eco-friendly Custom Box:
Recently, New York State Energy Research & Development Authority, NYSERDA, approached Corporate Image to help create a beautiful box that met the State of New York’s eco standards, requiring state agencies to purchase 100 percent recycled paper. Smart Paper’s Genesis Line was the way to go because the size of the box required a heavier weight stock paper. NYSERDA chose to use Genesis 160# Double-thick Cover that is 100% post consumer waste recycled. With all of Smart Paper’s eco-friendly options, clients are sure to find a paper that suites any project.

Soy Ink at Corporate Image

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/soy-ink-at-corporate-image.cfm

As a green printer, Corporate Image strongly believes in using soy inks because it decreases the dependency on petroleum and lowers the level of VOC’s, helping you and the environment. All projects- 3 ring binders, folders, boxes, tabs, and other marketing materials- are printed with soy ink. The first installation of the three part series gives a short overview of the history of soy inks. The second focuses on 5 benefits of soy ink- Vibrant Colors, Cost Effective, Laser Proof, Stability, and Environmentally Friendly. This final blog is about the soy ink that Corporate Image uses.

Corporate Image chooses INX International Ink Company, originally founded in 1896, to manufacture the soy ink. We like that they are committed to formulating environmentally-friendly products that deliver high performance and quality. They offer a variety of green products and strive to reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) by the replacement of solvent-based materials with water-based, the utilization of UV curable raw materials formulated without VOC solvents, and the replacement of petroleum oil with renewable vegetable oils such as soy.
INX International Ink makes an EcoPure® HPJ SOY Ink that Corporate Image especially likes. This ink reduces petroleum oil and replaces it with naturally replenishable vegetable oils such as soy to minimize the emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds. It carries the INX Environment Friendly Stamp and is a high quality quickset ink that qualifies for the American Soybean Association Soy Seal Logo.

5 Benefits of Soy Ink

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/5-benefits-of-soy-ink.cfm

This is the second installation of a three-part series on soy inks. The first part of the series is about the history of soy inks. Here, I have listed five benefits of using renewable resource ink on your projects- whether it’s 3 ring binder, 2 pocket folder, or any combination of marketing materials. As a green printer, Corporate Image has the experience to know that soy inks not only look better, but are cost effective, and better for the environment.

Vibrant colors - Soy inks produce a higher quality print than petroleum-based ink because soy oil’s clarity allows pigments to reach their full potential. You’ll see deeper, richer, and brighter colors when using soy.

Soy ink is cost effective - Because soy ink provides more intense color, printers may not use as much ink. As a result, more materials can be printed with less ink and thereby reducing the cost of your custom project.

Laser proof - This is important when ink needs to be exposed to the heat of a laser printer or copy machine. As the boiling point of soy ink is lower, there is less chance of the ink being transferred to the machine parts instead of the paper.

Stability - Soy ink maintains its lithographic stability throughout the entire print job, so the press operator makes fewer adjustments during production and rejects fewer copies because of inferior quality.

Environmentally Friendly - By switching to soy ink Corporate Image offsets the use of petroleum. Soy ink is created from a renewable resource, soybeans.

0-5% VOCs

In order to recycle paper, it has to go through a de-inking process where the ink is detached from the fibers. The clearer oil and less pigment make soy-based inks easier to de-ink, therefore making it easier to recycle. This allows the recycled paper to have less damage to its paper fibers and have a brighter appearance.

Volatile Organic Compounds, VOCs, have negative impacts on the environment and human health, therefore switching to soy significantly minimizes toxic emissions and helps reduce air pollution .

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/soy-inks_benefiting-you-and-the-environment.cfm

This is the first installation in a three-part series on Soy Inks.

As a green printer, Corporate Image uses soy inks derived from renewable resources, soybeans, to cut back on traditional petroleum-based ink. Soy-based ink is more eco-friendly, benefiting both you and the environment! Besides cutting down on the United State’s petroleum dependency, soy inks are easier to recycle, have lower levels of VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds), and produce brighter colors with less ink and less energy.

The History of Soy Inks

Because of the rising prices of Petroleum in the 1970’s, The Newspaper Association of America started looking for more cost effective, sustainable ways to produce ink. Iowa, located in the heart of the midwest and on the forefront of many green initiatives, ran a successful practical printing run with soy ink at The Gazette in 1987. Today, 95% of America’s daily newspapers now print with soy.

Unfortunately, 75% of commercial printers have NOT switched to soy ink. Also located in the Heartland, Corporate Image, in Des Moines, Iowa, is among the leaders choosing to benefit the environment and you by using soy inks in the printing of 3-ring binders, folders, and other marketing materials.

A few years later, in 1994, the government voted on the Vegetable Ink Printing Act, mandating that printers with government contracts give preference to vegetable oil-based inks over volatile petroleum-based inks. This was an effort to reduce emissions from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) as mandated under the 1990 Amendments to the Clean Air Act signed by President George H. W. Bush. The original Clean Air Act was signed in 1970 by President Richard M. Nixon, the year of the first celebration of Earth Day.

There are many reasons Corporate Images chooses NOT to use Vinyl or PVC in the manufacturing of sustainable presentation materials. We pride ourselves in creating eco-friendly binders, 2 pocket folders, and other green marketing tools for all of your needs--good for both you and the environment!

1- Production of PVC creates dangerous chemicals

PVC additives contribute to serious health risks including asthma, lead poisoning and increased cancer risk as well as neurological damage, birth defects, reproductive and immune system damage. According to The Center for Health and Environmental Justice, these chemicals are especially toxic to children who are much more susceptible to this poisonous material. For these reasons Corporate Image is dedicated to being 100% green at our core in order to produce safer, eco-friendly marketing materials.

2- Vinyl is hard to Recycle

Vinyl is not accepted at most recycling programs because it has the potential to contaminate other plastics such as PET. One piece of scrap PVC can render 50,000 bottles of PET unrecyclable. On the other hand, as a green printer, Corporate Image binders are 100% recyclable and are produced with FSC certified 100% recycled board.

3- When vinyl burns, it produces Dioxins

According to the United States Fire Administration, each year in the United States an average of 8,400 dump and landfill fires are reported to the fire service. The largest sources of Dioxins to the atmosphere are landfill fires where PVC burns.

4- There are very good alternatives to PVC

Corporate Image makes durable and eco-friendly three-ring binders with a range of environmental considerations. For example, the flush-cut binders are rated the most environmentally friendly binder option at Corporate Image because they are 100% recyclable and could be made from virtually 100% post consumer fiber. View 9 Ways to Customize a Three Ring Binder for a complete list of environmental information on custom options.

5- If you don't use PVC plastics, you will find yourself in Good Company!

A lot of companies are making strides to become responsible environmental leaders.
Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Shaw, Firestone, Nike, Mattel, Lego, Johnson & Johnson, General Motors, and Volkswagen are among a few! The city of San Francisco and the State of New York have also banned PVC pipe. Corporate Image has chosen to create a more responsible, eco-friendly binder without the use of vinyl.

Digital printing is an eco-friendly method of producing four-color process tabs. They are best for projects that don’t require full-bleed printing or a PMS match. Printed on sturdy, 110 lb, FSC certified index stock, these tabs have Mylar reinforcing on the tab and binding edge for added strength. Digital printing is the reproduction of digital images on paper using toner rather than liquid inks. Generally intended for “short-run” projects under 1,500 tab sets, it is an economical solution. There is no paper waste and fewer chemicals compared to offset printing. Tab sets can be ready to ship in only five days, so they’re a great option when you need them fast.

Using film lamination is a way to enhance and protect your 3-ring binder or folder project. When Corporate Image was founded almost 30 years ago, the goal was to introduce an alternative to vinyl binders. Europe at the time was phasing out vinyl because it could not be safely disposed of in the land fills due to its toxic properties. Printed binders took the place of vinyl and soon designers realized the graphic opportunities that print provided. Corporate Image followed suit with the introduction of our FlexHinge binder and looked for a product that would protect the binder and enhance the graphics. It also could not be harmful to the environment either in the production or disposal processes.

Our lamination is made of either a thin sheet of polypropylene, polyester or nylon and all can be safely recycled. When applied to paper, the paper can be repulped and the plastic film will be separated and recycled with other plastics. We offer gloss, semigloss and natural matte lamination films that are available with a smooth or linen finish. Our polypropylene film, natural matte, has become the most popular because it is non-reflective and has a smooth, silky feel. It provides a protective coating that allows you to reuse the product, thus extending its life so your project can make a lasting impression.

A Better Binders' Board

When we were searching for a tag line for our new bare board binders, we came up with the idea of highlighting the binders board – the heart of the binder or "the core" as it was to become known. The binders’ board we use for all of our binders is unique and makes for a good story because it is constructed of 100% post-consumer waste, but it’s not ordinary waste, and hence not ordinary board.

We refer to our board as binders board, but it’s commonly called solid board in the industry and has a number of qualities which make it unique. First, it is not made from your average street waste, but clean waste that is collected from health clubs around Holland, so it’s a mixture of magazines, newspapers and other like paper. This recycled paper complies with the FSC standard when the composition of the ultimate solid board demonstrably comprises at least 85% FSC paper and/or recycled paper. Because it is FSC certified, customers know that the board complies with responsible forest management. The production process employs very clean and safe manufacturing conditions.

This particular board is selected for our 3-ring binders because it is strong and it retains its strength, shape and volume even in humid and damp conditions. It can also be easily customized in many different designs and dimensions and special printing and embossing techniques can be used to make a product that stands out. We landed on using “green at the core” for our tagline to describe the environmental benefit that comes from our bare board binders and because there is no lamination, it is green from the outside cover to the core.

When Corporate Image first started printing on recycled papers a number of years ago, they were significantly more expensive than coated papers. Our customers had just begun requesting earth friendly options to reflect their environmental values, but the overall demand was still low. Over time, it became more common to find recycled paper with up to 30% post-consumer waste and prices for those papers began slowly declining. But, there were very few choices for 100% PCW, so it remained expensive... until now!

We have discovered a quality 100% recycled paper that we use for pocket folders, custom boxes and multi-media packaging that is very affordable.

The flush cut binder from Corporate Image is a great innovation in green binder technology. We designed a binder that is constructed with our 100% post-consumer waste binder’s board that does not need any lamination on the cover. Instead, we adhere a sturdy recycled paper to the board that can be decorated with offset printing, debossing or using metallic or pigment colored foil stamping. Then the board and paper are trimmed so the cover and liner are flush with the board edge. We also round the corners for extra durability and to enhance the appearance. The result is an interesting blend of board, paper and ink that reveals the core of the binders board. It’s a great look and 100% recyclable. Our customers love the fact that the binder it unique, doesn't have any coating or lamination and it communicates their commitment to the environment.

Corporate Image makes a line of heavy-duty binders for environments in which wear and tear or even moisture can be an issue. For such conditions, we offer durable options made from poly-cotton with an acrylic coating. These binders are highly resistant to moisture, mildew and abrasions. In fact, an independent lab has tested the hinge strength by opening and closing the binder over 250,000 times and it did not fail and showed little sign of wear. This is the equivalent of using the binder 20 times a day for 34 years without breaking the hinge.

Now there is a reusable 3-ring binder pocket that is a great solution for holding your loose papers. With our FlexHInge binder system, these polypropylene pockets are designed to fit into the rings. Vinyl binders on the other hand, have a pocket built into inside front cover. We don't produce vinyl binders at Corporate Image due to their toxicity and because they look inexpensive. We value good design so we developed an alternative binder that is attractive and good for the planet, which meant finding another option to hold loose sheets of paper. There are 3 possible pocket options that we offer starting with our recyclable pocket page that is an eco-conscious way to hold papers and communicate your green commitment. They are nicely designed and compliment any of our green binder designs. We offer a polypropylene pocket that can be adhered to the inside cover and there is the new polypropylene solution that can be used time and time again. It is truly a green option since polypropylene is recyclable and it is inert so it doesn't produce offgassing like vinyl. The pockets are clear so you can see the contents inside and they are strong which means they are sustainable and cost effective because you can reuse them.

It's an incredible collection of pieces from the likes of Joel Shapiro, Sol Lewitt, Louise Bourgeois and Deborah Butterfield, who is well known for her horses made from found objects like wood and metal.

The Festival has moved up steadily from the number 10 spot about 10 years ago which was for the US competition to it's new position of the number 1 Arts Festival in the world. The 3-ring binder and tab dividers are handed out to all of the exhibiting artists and the sponsors who support the event.

The Architect Binder from Corporate Image is perfectly configured for your important proposals. The 11x17 format can be foil stamped or debossed to brand it or it can be ordered as you see above without decoration and ships the next day from our sister company Naked Binder. The binders board is made from 100% post-consumer waste and has a beautiful and durable cloth spine. The rings easily pop off in seconds so the entire 3-ring binder can be recycled when you're through using it... but that could be awhile. We've independently tested the binders up to 200,000 flexes before showing any wear. That's a whole lot of openings and closings. In fact it adds up to over 20 years of average use. And they say "they don't build them like they use to". The Architect Binder is made right here in the United States and has been designed to make a big impact on your client but not on the planet.

Hy-Vee, which is a large Midwestern grocery store chain sponsors the annual Hy-Vee Triathalon designed a unique tri-folder for the event which was about half the size of a typical pocket folder and die-cut the runner's profile to draw attention to her. It was a very well received piece and we heard lots of comments as to the effectiveness of their graphic design. Creating a unique folder is easy and custom dies are very affordable.

The natural Bare Board Binder from Corporate Image has a beauty all its own, with fibers and flakes of the 100% post-consumer waste. It is a binder in its most basic form, but takes on a classic look because of the simple design. It can be either a traditional square back binder or it can have the rounded spine, giving it a contemporary appearance. Both styles have rounded corners and decoration can be applied to the spine and front cover. You can choose from a hot foil stamp or a deboss to brand your binder. That time of year when anything and everything you can eat is served on a stick, deep fat fried style. The fair is a unique cultural experience and one you wouldn't want to miss if you find yourself in the area. The fair kicks off on Wednesday evening with a parade through downtown Des Moines and runs for 10 days. About 100,000 attend each day so it's a huge event for the state and community. If someone were to ask me what are some of the things that characterize the fair, I would say, dirt track racing with unusual cars, a giant slide, pigs, cows and sheep, the long sky ride over the fairgrounds, food contests, big tractors, the Midway full of rides, games of chance and lots of people, nightly fireworks, a butter cow, lots of food vendors, music from the grandstand where popular musicians perform. It is a sight to see!

Corporate Image is located a short distance from the fair on the east side of Des Moines. If you make it as far as the fair, please stop by and say hello. We'd love to meet you and show you how we make the best 3-ring binders, folders and boxes in the industry!

Corporate Image stands behind our products. Our philosophy is to create the best binders, folders and boxes which begins with the highest level of printing. We've been doing this for over 25 years, dedicating our presses to printing only covers. It's a niche that we've perfected and is linked to our past.

The owner's family, who came from Germany, was originally in the book binding business before the company evolved into a supplier of book components to libraries.
http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/making-the-switch.cfm

We're grateful when we hear from our customers regarding their Corporate Image projects. We constantly strive to deliver the best product and customer service and it's rewarding to know that we're making an impact on the customer and on the planet. For example, a customer recently wrote, "We received the big shipment of binders, everyone loves them! We're happy with the quality and feel - massive improvement from the PVC binders we used before."It's really hard to conceive how many vinyl binders have been produced in the U.S. and around the world. The number is staggering and companies are beginning to realize that it's becoming more and more difficult to dispose of their old vinyl binders. It is not uncommon for businesses to order large quantites of vinyl binders along the lines of 50,000 to 1 million units. What they're discovering is that the landfills will no longer accept large amounts of vinyl so warehouses are starting to fill up with binders. At some point, businesses will have to pay someone to physically remove the covers or do it themselves.Unfortunately, vinyl continues to be a choice for binder manufacturers even though other materials are available that don't pollute and can easily be recycled. Vinyl is simply cheap to manufacture so it is the material of choice which makes one question our environmental policies. At Corporate Image,we're working hard to create awareness about the dangers of vinyl and to get companies to make the switch to another option that doesn't hurt the environoment.

Companies that make building products often used in home remodeling projects like windows, doors, appliances and tile for example are seeing their business increase as homeowners stay in their homes longer and invest in them.

Manufacturers want their brands to be seen when the homeowner visits stores like Home Depot and Lowes and are purchasing binders and other presentation materials to keep their names in front of shoppers.
The Healthy Option

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/the-healthy-choice.cfm

For years, companies have been using ordinary vinyl binders for their offices and they have become the standard binder. But, times have changed...the environment inside and outside the office has become important as people think about their own health and the well being of the planet. They are inextricably linked.

When you're sitting in an office environment, you want to feel secure knowing the air quality is good. Many people do not realize that vinyl is toxic and not only contaminates the ground and the water, but also causes air pollution outside and even inside. Vinyl binders off-gas which pollutes the interior air quality and can pose health risks. It is why businesses are making the switch to recycled binders and is how Corporate Image got its start by the way. We realized over 25 years ago that vinyl was very detrimental to the environment so we created the FlexHinge binder made from 100% post-consumer waste binder's board and printed with soy inks.

We're pleased that over the years we've produced millions of binders that are vinyl free and will not end up in the land fills leeching toxins into the ground or off-gassing. We've also contributed to healthy air quality in buildings and homes all over the country and some others. So when you reach for a new binder skip the vinyl and go with the healthy choice. You will be helping the planet and yourself.

In a few weeks, 2,500 graphic designers and other creatives will "ascend" to the mile high city of Denver for the design event of the year - the 2010 HOW Design Conference. And once again, it will prove to be fun, inspiring and informative.

Corporate Image has been a HOW sponsor for the past 15 years, producing the conference binders that are distributed to the attendees. This year, we worked with the HOW staff to create a binder that is made from 100% recycled binders board, FSC Certified paper and printed with soy inks. And is 100% recyclable, so everything goes back into the wastestream.

We want to get the word out that there are ecofriendly alternatives to vinyl binders that offer unlimited design potential. If you attend the conference, please stop by booth #507 to see recent examples of our sustainable binders, tabs, folders, and boxes. We will be happy you did and so will the planet!

After a long Iowa winter, we're beginning to see the colors of spring and are looking forward to when everything will again be in bloom again. The crocuses, daffodils and tulips have already come up and Spring will soon be in full force as the magnolias open to be followed by the crabapples, Bradford pears and red buds. We're very fortunate at Corporate Image to be surrounded by beautiful trees and flower gardens. Fritz James, the owner of LBS, shared in a meeting this morning his philosophy about the landscaping... a beautiful natural enviroment can contribute to a positive attitude, such as when one walks up to the building, the flowers and plants can be uplifting.

The old expession,"the more things change, the more they stay the same" is true. Take Presentation is Everything for example...we've all heard it at some point and nod our heads in agreement that when it comes to selling your products or services, you want your company's marketing materials to shine. In today's world, a large percentage of marketing dollars are going towards digital media such as websites and search engine advertising. However, it becomes more difficult for your brand and message to stand out in the crowd.

The most effective way to reach an audience is often the simplest and one that's been proven.
The Best Binder and Most Responsible Binder

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/best-binder-and-most-responsible-binder.cfm

How We Started

Corporate Image began with the goal of introducing 3 ring binders that would make a big impact on the customer, but not the environment. The majority of binders today are made from three pieces of board encased in vinyl, which compromises the lifespan of the binder. The hinges become susceptible to tearing, especially if the contents are heavy or they can crack when the plastic is exposed to cold temperatures. However, the most important issue facing vinyl binders is their impact on humans and the environment.

The EPA has classified vinyl chloride, which is used to make polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as a Group A carcinogen. As a result, a growing number of American corporations have stopped purchasing products and packaging containing PVC because of health and environmental concerns. Millions of vinyl binders are produced each year, creating dangerous emissions in the manufacturing and disposal processes.

A Scientific Advisory Committee of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) concluded the risk of dioxin emissions puts PVC consistently among the worst materials for human health impacts. Since it is very expensive to recycle vinyl, most of it ends up in our landfills where the plasticizers break down and can leech into the surrounding soil and water. And, when incinerated, PVC can be especially hazardous when hazardous toxins are released into the air.

Corporate Image Builds the Best and Most Responsible Binder

Twenty five years later, we continue to champion our alternative to the vinyl binder. Made from a single piece of 100% recycled binders board, our product, called the FlexHinge binder, has a spine that is guaranteed not to crack, regardless of the temperature. In fact, it has been opened and closed up to 250,000 times in an independent test with showing only slight signs of wear. This equates to 34 years of use if you use your binder 20 times everyday.

Our devotion to building the best binder comes from the owners’ bookbinding heritage where quality and craftsmanship were the paramount values. When combined with endless graphic design possibilities, our versatile FlexHinge binder stands out today as the ultimate binder solution that is as eye-catching as it is earth friendly.

Here's an idea whose time has finally come. You have produced an important proposal for generating new business and you're looking for the most effective way to present it. You want it to be attractive, professional and have presence so it stands out. However, you also want it to have a personal touch, but realize that can be a challenge when you have variable information. When a folder or spiral bound product won't do because it has to be special, consider the variable information binder from Corporate Image

We customize the binder by die-cutting a window on a FlexHinge binder wherever you want information to appear from beneath. Simple but very effective because our FlexHinge binder is so versatile. You can design the look you want and personalize the presentation without having to change the art for each individual piece. The FlexHinge binder is similar to a fine hardback book that commands attention. It can be covered in cloth or left bare to show the recycled board and communicate your green commitment or printed in full color. The design possibilities are endless.

The HOW Conference provides a unique opportunity for designers to interact collectively to learn and share their experiences. Every year, there is a feautured speaker, along with other well known and admired speakers from the industry who share their expertise. This year's featured speaker is Debbie Millman.
Our New Manhattan Cloth Has You Covered.

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/new-manhattan-cloth-has-you-covered.cfm

For 2010, Corporate Image is unveiling a beautiful, new cover material for 3 ring binders and packaging that is sure to turn heads. The sophisticated new line is called Manhattan and offers a selection of 11 brilliant colors that are as pleasing to the touch as they are to the eye. It is made from 100% rayon with paper backing and has a light acrylic coating to protect the surface so the fabric keeps its luster.

Manhattan joins a growing family of fine cover materials produced by LBS, our sister company in Des Moines, servicing book binders, manufacturers and publishers in the US and abroad. It's advantageous for Corporate Image that LBS carries a large inventory of attracitve book binding fabrics and papers that we can readily obtain and for the cost savings it provides our customers.

Beautiful cover materials like the new Manhattan offer another way to make a project stand out and be green at the same time. All of our binders board is made from 100% recycled, clean office waste that can be recycled in the future. And because of their construction quality, the binders willl be around for many years, so they can be reused again and again. Continuing to eliminate more waste from landfills and offering a green alternative to vinyl binders strengthens our commitment to being an industry leader in enivironmental stewardship.

Back to the Lab...Corporate Image Makes the Best Ring Binder in the US

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/corporate-image-makes-the-best-binder-in-the-us.cfm

Based on what you ask? Strength for one. Recently, the independent lab SGS US Testing issued their results from a strength test of our binders. Specifically, they were testing how many times the binder couid be opened and closed before the hinge would fail. All of our binders are constructed from one piece of recycled binders board that has a series of creases pressed into the board, forming the hinge or binder spine. Here are the findings for a 3-ring bare board binder.

"Cover test flexing was performed on a US Testing Flexing device. The front cover of the binder specimen was placed vertically in a movable clamp with the binder held firmly below it in a horizontal position. The binder's front cover was arranged in a position to enable flexing to occur at the top gutter portion of the spine. The binder covers were flexed back and forth (zero to 90 degree angle) for 250,000 cycles and examined periodically for cracking, failure or any other adverse conditions. The test results showed after 250,000 flexes only slight wear along the hinge.

There you have it. Corporate Image has the strongest binder around. If you use this binder for 34 years, 20 times a day you still will not break the hinge. At Corporate Image when it comes to the 3r's of conservation, we've got you covered. Our 3 ring binders can be reused and reused for years without breaking, they are made from 100% recycled materials and are recyclable. And when it comes to reducing, well, our binders are simply made...no vinyl covering...just recycled materials coming together to form a binder that can be put back into circulation someday to become another binder or book or menu or gameboard,etc...That's a pretty small footprint.

Vinyl is Recylable? Not!

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/vinyl-is-recylable-dont-.cfm

This just in from the Greenbuild Conference in Pheonix. Be very suspicious if you read or hear that vinyl used in the manufacuring of vinyl binders is recyclable. Corporate Image began almost 30 years ago with the mission of offering an alteranative to toxic vinyl binders that would not harm the environment, while at the same time, delivering far superior graphics with paper and an offset press. It remains our objective to reduce the use of vinyl on binders due to it's toxic properties.

“And although a vinyl manufacturer will tell you the product is recyclable, there are currently no vinyl recycling programs available. The vast majority of polyvinyl chloride products end up in a landfill or get incinerated – both are environmentally hazardous options. When vinyl is burned it releases dioxin – the most carcinogenic material known. In a landfill, vinyl can last between ten and twenty thousand years. It does not interact with nature as a biological nutrient – no bacteria or organisms feed on it. It breaks into smaller pieces if exposed to the sun, but it does not get processed naturally. It therefore is a toxin for a very long time – for many, many lifetimes.”

When it comes to benefitting the environment, our binders are at the forefront. We use 100% recycled board that itself is recyclable. No toxic lmaterials...just clean office paper that has been made into binder's board to become a Corporate Image binder. A binder that will not contaminate the soil one day. Environmentally speaking...that's green and peace of mind.

More and more customers are moving away from ordinary vinyl binders to the greener alternatives that we provide. This is a pretty easy decision when one takes into consideration the environmental consequences of producing, using and disposing of vinyl binders. Vinyl can be hazardous to workers in the manufacturng process, it off-gasses, compromising air quality in buildings and cannot easily be disposed of without polluting the ground. Our binders made from 100% post consumer waste are a sustainable solution because they will last for many years and are fully recyclable. Choose Corporate Image if you want to decorate your binder with 4color printing, foil stamping, debossing, cloth or paper options and go au natural with Naked Binder, foregoing the decoration. Simply put, you can't go wrong our binders! They're good for you and the planet.

Here's looking ahead to Spring.

Iowa State Fair Time and National AIGA Conference

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/26.cfm

Des Moines is enjoying a very mild summer this year, in fact, it was the coolest July on record. That has been good news for the state fair folks who usually are very hot when the fair rolls around in mid August. This year’s fair was pretty typical except for a few new additions to the everything on a stick menu. This year, I saw someone selling bacon dipped in chocolate on a stick…very creative indeed. Speaking of creative, the AIGA conference for creatives is coming up October 8-11 in Memphis, Tennessee. We will be there and have on hand some of the latest innovative and sustainable designs from Corporate Image, which includes custom binders, folders, tabs, boxes, and corrugated packaging. We invite you to come by our booth to learn how we’re helping to green the planet with our line of 100% recycled binders. FYI...Below is an original creation of a cow made from butter at the Iowa State Fair. Every year, the artist creates a new butter sculpture often based on someone or something in the pop culture. Over 1 million people attend the fair each year.

It's Kickoff Time for the 2010 Catalog and Fall Football

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/its-kickoff-time-for-the-new-catalog-and-fall-football.cfm

The production of our 2010 Corporate Image catalog has kicked off, which is always a monumental occasion for our marketing and design team. About every other year, our group sits down to brainstorm new design ideas to refine the catalog, so it is the most outstanding research tool available. Other years, we update it with new photos and the latest and greatest products. Always on our minds is the goal to help make it easier for our customers to find the best presentation options for their projects. That starts with what they are telling us. Throughout the year, our sales representatives feed back to our team suggestions and comments which we use to improve the look and functionality of the catalog. This year, we heard how line drawings are a valuable tool in helping designers realize the wide range of presentation possibilities. Look for more line drawing to be added to the new catalog and our website. One of our advantages is we can easily customize an existing product to accommodate size differences or help create a unique solution for a folder, binder, sales box, or tab divider. Stay tuned for the 2010 Corporate Image catalog coming soon and the start of the football season.

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/let-it-rain-and-rain-on-our-binder.cfm

With the growing popularity of the raw board look – at Corporate Image, we call our product “the bare board binder” – we wondered what would happen if the binder was exposed to water or rain or even heavy rain. Only one way to find out…take a sample binder and expose to big Midwestern thunderstorm, throw in some lightening and thunder and you get the picture…well 24 hours later we retrieved the binder from the rain-soaked grass to look at the results of our research. The binders board did not delaminate even when completely saturated – that’s a testament to the high quality board we use in our product. We dried out the binder and it was still useful. The great thing is that no toxic chemicals are used to make our binders. We use a very simple recipe: take clean paper from offices, newspapers and magazines and make into a sturdy binders board, add some recycled paper for a cover or not in the case of a bare board binder, put in a reusable ring and then just add contents into the ring. Simple and good for the environment; heck you could even pull out the ring some day and throw the binder into your garden for mulch…try doing that with a vinyl binder.

49,998, 49,999, 50,000!!!

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/49998-49999-50000.cfm

50,000 what you ask? The answer is flexes…binder flexes. We’ve always been curious about the strength of our 3 ring binders, so we packed some up and sent them to an independent lab for testing. We've known for years that our binder’s board, which is the core of the 3 ring binder, is special. First of all, it comes from Holland.

Secondly, our binders board comes from office waste...not your ordinary street waste. Since the founding of Corporate Image 25 years ago, we’ve made it a point to purchase the highest quality100% recycled board. Our concern for the environment has been a driving force for the company, which started with the mission to replace toxic vinyl binders with an aesthetically attractive and sustainable alternative. Quite simply, our binder’s board has the best characteristics of any board around. It lays flat and stays flat, it has a smooth and even surface and it is strong, so strong in fact that the spine did not fail after a machine flexed it 50,000 times.

Now, if you try this at home, you will probably be very, very tired and your ring binder will probably show some wear. But the good news is, it will still perform and you will have had a heck of a workout.

Our eco binders are so environmentally friendly that when your binder is ready for the big sleep...the recycle bin (which could take awhile, because they are well constructed) you can insert a flat blade screwdriver under the ring, twist and it will pop right off. It takes less than 10 seconds and couldn’t be easier. The ring can now be recycled and the binder can be tossed back into the waste stream for recycling. Now that's sustainability since the binder was originally made from 100% recycled binder's board. Check out our video clip and be sure to keep your favorite screwdriver handy.

We’re seeing more and more requests from customers who want the FSC logo on their binder or project to show they care about sustainability and the environment. They’re pleased we’ve made the commitment to become an FSC certified printer because they know our materials and production processes are geared to reducing the impact on the planet.

Recently, we just got word that a large Government Agency was making the move from vinyl binders to earth-friendly recycled binders, which is great news. It’s been a long time coming, but a very welcome change to know their new binders will not just end up in the land fills where dangerous toxins are left to break down. Our Corporate Image bare board binders are made from 100% recycled material that can go back into the waste stream to be used again…..and again.
If you’re wondering how long, I can tell you because we asked that question ourselves and put our binders to the stress test. This involved throwing the binders into what looks like a gigantic dryer and setting the timer for 3 hours which equates to 10 years of use. Afterwards, when we examined the binders, only small abrasions could be seen on some of the edges. We also tested the hinges or spines for strength by putting them into a machine that opened and closed the binder….50 thousand times..and they still hadn’t failed.
Earth Day 2009

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/earth-day-2009.cfm

Today’s Earth Day and it’s great there is a calendar day devoted to recognize the planet. Not to get political, but it’s hard to dispute that a burgeoning world population and expanding industrialization of countries like China,India and Brazil are putting pressure on the planet’s resources and significantly contributing to world pollution. It’s an important issue and one I think most people would agree needs to be addressed.

President Obama is coming to Des Moines this morning to speak about the new administrations plans for improving the environment. He then heads to Newton, Iowa where he will visit a new wind energy company, TPI Composites, which is manufacturing wind turbine components. It’s an interesting story, because Newton use to be the home of Maytag Corporation, a large manufacturer of major appliances and a household name since the company was founded. Shortly after Whirlpool purchased Maytag, they closed the plant, so it is a huge benefit and for the community and very cool that an alternative energy company has located there.

What’s this have to do with anything? Well, I’m glad you were wondering because Corporate Image has been doing something about helping the environment for 25 years. Corporate Image has been replacing vinyl binders with an eco alternative called the FlexHinge binder that can be recycled into more 3 ring binders, which keeps toxic vinyl out of the landfills. The air is also cleaner for two reasons: in order to manufacture vinyl, dangerous toxins are released into the atmosphere and when placed in the work environment, vinyl binders off gas toxins and degrade the air quality. It’s hazardous stuff and Europe gets it because they banned vinyl binders years ago.

Just talked to one of our Sales Representatives, who gave me some great feedback on a project in which she’s involved. Sounds like her customer really wanted to create a certain design that was perfect for the project, but was slightly over the budget. The representative, who has been with Corporate Image from day one, got together with our package design guy to consider the options. They nailed a solution on the first try and decided to go glueless. In other words, they didn’t have to use a piece of machinery called a folder-gluer, saving them just enough on that process that they could go with the original idea. By using tuck-locks, instead of glue, they work as a clasp to hold the box in this case closed. Neat idea and good for the environment.

This is the 13th year we have sponsored and produced the HOW 3 ring binder for the conference materials. Every year, HOW creates new graphics for the front cover to reflect the flavor of the host city, while we use the back cover for branding Corporate Image. For the past few years, around 4,000 designers have attended and gained insight from some of the brightest and most respected minds in the creative business. The conference gives us a chance to learn as well because we get great feedback on how our products are performing and come away with new ideas . If you have a chance to come to HOW, stop by and chat us up. We'll have samples on hand of recent projects and new product innovations, so you can see up close what distinguishes us.

Finally Organized...The 3 Ring Binder to the Rescue

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/finally-organizedthe-3-ring-binder-to-the-rescue.cfm

How many times do I need to go through my drawers, glove boxes and stacks of papers looking for a receipt before I learn? Like many things that have changed, stores aren’t the friendliest places when you have to return something without a receipt. They invest lots to make their brand recognizable and stores attractive to entice you to part with your money. However, it’s a very different experience when you try to return something six months after it has been buried at the back of your closet. Seldom can it be returned and back to the closet it goes, unhappily. Finally, I said to myself enough and grabbed one of our newbare board binders from the sample wall and a sharpie pen, scrawling the word RECEIPTS in big letters across the front. Now that 3 ring binder sits on my desk where I put all of my receipts into a polypropylene pocket so they don’t get lost. Happily, my closet is no longer cluttered with items I can’t return and it’s all thanks to a very helpful organization tool…the 3 ring binder.

Kudos to Naked Binder

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/kudos-to-naked-binder.cfm

Congratulations to Ken James over at our new sister company,Naked Binder. Ken, a recent transplant from California, is the son of Fritz James, founder of Corporate Image. Sales of his naked and partially naked binders are rocking these days as revenues continue their sharp climb upwards.

His team has tapped into the growing demand for environmentally responsible products. Naked Binders not only use 100% recycled board, they can be reused over and over and are recyclable. The word has gotten out around here and the local press has tracked Ken down to find out more about the new business.

Here are some shots from what started out as 15 minutes of fame, but has turned into more like an hour between the paper and tv stations. You can check out his line up of recycled binders and recycled tabs at www.nakedbinder.com to learn how their products help the planet be cleaner and greener.

The Greening of Corporate Image

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/the-greening-of-corporate-image.cfm

It can be distressing to think about all the garbage that is produced everyday around the world. Since most of it is out of sight, it's easy to ignore. However, it's pretty staggering to conisder the amount of garbage that is generated in one large metropolitan area alone. Imagine the amount of waste from only one tall building that will end up in the landfill.

Also, there is that image of garbage being hauled out to the ocean and dumped...never a pretty one, and the reality of how long it takes for the breakdown process. The good news is that people are changing their thoughts and ways, so current and future generations will be more proactive about sustainability issues and the preservation of the planet.

Corporate Image is manufacturing a product that has benefitted the environment for years. The business was started in 1984 with the objective of providing an alternative option to toxic vinyl binders. Manufacturing vinyl is harmful to the air and eventually to the ground when binders up in the landfills. It’s pretty overwhelming to think of how many vinyl binders have been produced up until now. Europe, at least, had the foresight to ban vinylbinders years ago, but they are still mass produced in the US.

Fast forward to 2009.Corporate Image’s products have evolved to become even greener. We are now an FSC certified printer, use soy inks, recycled materials and have found new and innovative ways to create custom binders. We offer recycled binders that can be decorated with debossing and foilstamping, printed-spine wraps that expose the raw board but leave room for full color graphics, and unique cloth combinations with any of the above. We’re proud of producing products that are well made and can be reused again and again before being recycled. Eco binders are definitely the way to go!

Here are some pics of scenes to come this spring around Corporate Image. We sometimes refer to the land and buildings around here as a campus because of the beautiful surrounding landscape. And there’s that college campus feel when you see people sitting at picnic tables tucked among the trees and walking between buildings. The owner, Fritz James, is a very visual person with an affinity for the aesthetically pleasing, which by the way is how we got into the presentation packaging business– so in addition to nice office digs with lots of windows, we look out at a mix of hardwood and flowering trees, perennial gardens and grasses that are native to Iowa. Pretty nice…have a look...

Just released Recycled Green Quick Ship Binder

http://blog.corp-image.com/posts/quick-ship-binder.cfm

Corporate Image has released a much anticipated recyclable green binder...one that’s been in the works since we saw the need for smaller quantities and speedier delivery. Now if you need only 50 binders or 2000 and you want them fast, very fast we can deliver. Our new QuickShip binder can be produced in only 5 business days once your proof is approved. What could be better than that? Well, since you asked…it’s mighty eco-friendly! We offer 2 options. Both start with a 100% recycled board that is recyclable!

Option1: we cover the front and back of this very durable board with a sheet of 30% PCW paper. We then apply a printed spine wrap of your design on 100lb FSC certified paper.

Option 2: We stick with the clean and recycled bare board. The printed spine wrap is applied directly to the board creating a sustainable, beuatiful, green and FSC certified binder. This becomes your canvas for artwork or branding against an attractive backdrop of recycled board.

There you have it…the Quick Ship binder, but the best thing about our binder is what it is not…vinyl! Score another one for the non-vinyl guys.
