Seems like everyone these days is talking about social media. Pintrest is exploding, Facebook is about to go public this week, and so many people are looking to share their contact easily.  If you run WordPress for your blog or website GetSocial might be the exact plugin you are looking to install.  Very easy to install and setup.  It also has many of the popular social sites already installed so you just select which ones you want, what order you want the buttons to appear, as well as if you want the count of people sharing your content too.

Also, cNet today had a post about passord security.  I have been using 1Password for the last few months.  It works very well at creating new passwords for each website (and it seems every website has a password).  Easy to install, easy to use.    There is also an iPhone/iPad/Android version if needed.  Only down side is it is fairly expensive, but worth the investment.

I am not sure if you have too many USB drives lying around the house.  There are times even though I know I have about 10 of them I can never find one.  But I digress, I saw this cNet post today about 10 awesome ways to use  a USB drive (if you can find one).

If you have an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, (you get the idea) you can download a new update to IOS 5.1.1 today.

If you are looking for a less expensive Macbook Air, Mashable is reporting Apple may be selling a version in the near future for $799.  I paid $300 more than that for mine. I have have been very happy with my purchase.  I bought a refurbished 13 inch a number of months ago.

Speaking of refurbished, cNet is also reporting you can get a refurb iPad for less money from the Apple website.  Go out and get an iPad 2 and save a ton of $$$.

“You can either get busy living or get busy dying.”  That is one of the lines from the movie Shawshank Redemption.  I believe this quote describes momentum.

My former boss, John Long, would talk about momentum and how powerful it is.  Many times I didn’t put much stock into what he was talking about as I was too focused on all of the day to day issues (not looking at the big picture).  Recently I have been looking more at the big picture and I now understand what John was talking about.

Momentum has allowed me to make more of an effort recently to find things on my blog to write about.  I have also been spending more time creating a new business.  It is amazing how much work it is with each and every decision which needs to be made.  The nice thing is there is so much free information on the internet to help me out.  But the key to moving things along is to spend a little time each day doing something to move things forward.

MOMENTUM IS A BIG DEAL, keep moving things forward!

The Google Docs gadget, right side chat, as well as the Undo Send features are some that I strongly recommend.

A few days ago I mentioned being able to download Thurderbird for free to use as your email client on your Mac.  Staying on the free theme I came across a blog post from Mashable which highlights free WordPress themes which focus on showing off your photos.

I am planning to look into a few of these this weekend to see which one I might install.  Pinterest seems to be getting all the social media buzz lately because of its layout.  Maybe one of these themes will help show off some of your pictures.
