Let’s run down Theo's credentials...

- 2007 Morehouse Graduate

- 2008 Harvard Graduate School of Education Graduate

- Teacher at one of Boston's inner city schools

- Teacher, Mentor, Friend and Dirty Dancer.

These are simply his credentials or the stuff on the resume, but can I speak from someone who knows Theo personally? Theo has dedicated his life to urban education reform. As a teacher and mentor, he is passionate about ensuring the future of our children. It’s not too often you find a black male who dedicates himself to a "humble profession". Taking students under his wings (and roof), Theo truly exhibits the quote "We must be the change we wish to see" to the fullest.

On behalf of the Cosby Kids (Cosby Kids are you there?!?, crickets..) - Denise, Bud, Rudy, Vanessa and Cockroach (Major crickets) we salute you FRIEND.

To God be the Glory for all that he is doing in your life.

(Speaks in tongues)

Amen.

In case you missed some of Theo’s posts…

I Don't Get My Education From No White Man's Institution (But I might have too..)

Theo's 21 Questions

P.S. - Don't forget where you got your start Theo Jenkins. Apparently his house arrest ankle bracelet alerted authorities that he was up to no good.

Boosie was arrested for possession of marijuana (§40:961) and possession of a firearm (LA. REV. STAT. 40§1783). PAUSE...Ya'll see Bud? He is gotten so good in law school that he can actually cite a law! I know I am let. Just ride with me on it...

Anywho apparently the cops were able to smell weed from Boosie's car. Good Boose, your music will forever remain in our hearts. And today's youth will continue to rock the Boosie fade in your honor.

ps- Are your sure Flava Flav is not your father?

Sammy Sosa: What's Really Good?

Look Bruh, you say you are not trying to bleach your skin like MJ (RIP). You say it is a "skin softener" cream that has inadvertently lightened your complexion. You say it was to get rid of the bad skin. Yet....

1. your are ten shades lighter
2. you wear green contacts
3. you permed your hair.

Sammy, is there something you need to tell us? Because you, MJ, and Lil Kim all the same right about now. PS- If you can, please go back to the days when you were sportin the Jheri with the dark skin. Like the Thriller Mike. Do we really want to be Denise's color?

Ya'll remember when Denise wrote about that family of skin bleachers in Jamaica? What is really going on out there in the islands...

She's always talking about how broke she is...

I will consider the variables. I personally don't think that Diddy is a noteworthy rapper. He had a couple of tracks back in the day that had me going. But present-tense, not so much. However, we all know that Dawn can sing. Sidenote, I now wonder if she was really screwing Danity Kane over the whole time. Nonetheless, Kaleena can sing as well; and she has done some writing. I've heard some of their stuff on YouTube and it sounds good.

But some of the tracks have Diddy in autotone, and we all know that Jay Z has us hating that right about now.

NOW what I do like is the fact that these 2 sistas are beautiful in the non-shallow., non-coventional way. 2 chocolate sistas. 2 sistas with short hair. Not true. We will find an uncovered story from back in 1994, and still expose you! This absurd tale dates back to August 2009.

Costco Wholesale Company decided to come with up a cute idea for an African American baby doll. She was adorable, dressed in pink, cuddly, and lovely. Fine. But what pissed off 99% of Black folks is the fact that Costco decided to name the doll "Lil Monkey"

Lil Monkey?...are you f**** serious?

Not only that, the Lil Monkey doll also came with an actual pet monkey, which was to be her sidekick. Look at the picture and get just as pissed off as Bud did.

Here is a response from a Costco Rep:

Dear XXX,

Thank you for your e-mail to Costco Wholesale.

We appreciate your comments regarding the Cuddle Baby Doll. After stocking the item, which was available either with a Caucasian or an African American doll, we learned from our members that some of them found the item offensive. There was certainly never any intention of offending anyone. On the contrary, we were happy that members were given the option of buying a doll showing different nationalities, which too often is not available. However, once we learned that it was offensive to some members, we decided to discontinue the item. We apologize to anyone who may have taken offense by our carrying the item.

Thank you,

Brenda

Costco Wholesale Corporation

Thank you Dr. Boyce Watkins, for exposing the ignorance. I keep telling ya'll, that racism is here and flourishing. To say that you did not mean to call equate a Black child to a little monkey is utterly absurd; considering the historical contexts of the two entities. Bud is pissed. I am hesitant to pull the race card, but maybe sometimes it needs to be pulled. I ultimately hope that everything works out in her favor- she is a Xavierite just like myself; and I want nothing more than to see my classmates prosper. I am also wondering if this can be achieved while executing the law.
Here is her testimony:

MUST WATCH: Mississippi Damned

Just give me a moment. . . . .

Whew (wipes sweat), as I temporarily had an emotional break down after watching this clip. Trust me, we know. We received and read ALL of your emails letting us know that we ain't shyt. To God be the Glory...Nevertheless, I had to crawl from up under my GMAT books to write about this story.

This is the story of Heather Ellis.

How many times have you been in Walmart with a friend or family member, and jump in with whoever finds the shortest line in the check out first? How many times have you added that extra little light weight object to the bag in the shelf check out line without paying for it? Never mind. Well, this is the story of Heather Ellis, who simply wanted to Roll Back Prices on a late night shopping trip to Walmart, but ended up facing 15 years in prison.

Heather Ellis, a rising senior at Xavier University of Louisiana and future M.D. to be, was doing a little late night shopping at Walmart in Kennett, MO in January of 2007 when her life changed dramatically. Like many people have done and do, Ellis and her cousin split up to find the shortest line, and since her cousin was in the shortest line, Ellis joined him. The cashier then accused her of cutting in front of the other customers, an argument ensued, the manager and security and, eventually, police were called.

According to court documents filed by police and obtained by the local paper, Daily Dunklin Democrat, Ellis was “belligerent, angry, and hostile, cursing in an aggressive manner toward store employees.” This behavior allegedly continued after the police arrived, and Ellis refused to leave Walmart, even though police say she was given several opportunities to leave on her own free will. The affidavit says Ellis was flailing, fighting, and kicking three officers as they tried to place her in handcuffs. During the incident, she allegedly kicked one officer and struck another in the mouth. The police arrested her and transported her to the Dunklin County Jail after subduing her.

She was charged with disturbing the peace, trespassing, and two counts of assaulting a police officer. The town’s prosecutor, Stephen Sokoloff, offered Ellis a plea deal, which she refused to sign, and he filed felony charges against her. Heather could face 15 years in prison.

So far, this incident sounds like a run-of-the-mill arrest of someone who committed a crime. But several in the community aren’t buying the police’s account of the events because Kennett police allegedly have a history of misconduct against blacks. Supporters of Ellis have staged protests and rallies calling for her release. Prior to one march sponsored by the NAACP in June 2009, police found Ku Klux Klan cards scattered along the planned route. The derogatory materials were removed by the police before the march and organizers were made aware of the situation.

However, the threats from the KKK continue, and Ellis’ father believes a card, allegedly delivered by a police officer, from the Klan is part of a larger plot meant to further intimidate the family. He’s also calling for Walmart to release the surveillance video in order to clear his daughter’s name.

Your Black World Coalition, National Action Network, and Dr. Boyce Watkins, a prominent black professor at Syracuse University, have become involved in the case and have set up the website SaveHeatherEllis.com, which has garnered thousands of signatures in support of Ellis. Watkins is also calling for the investigation of Sokoloff by the Justice Department. Ellis’ trial is expected to begin Nov. 15.

Ellis (right) surrounded by classmates at Xavier

Heather and I were classmates at Xavier. She was a cheerleader and active member of the Class of 2007. I can specifically remember on one occasion when she candidly walked into my office, sat down, and proceeded to tell me that Bud and I were fake. (me, fake? nooo) To say the least, she had/has a no nonsense way of keeping it real.

5 Points to Consider:

1) When cities and counties around the country are strapped for cash, and many face mandated court closures to save money, it’s hard to see how moving forward with a case like the one against Ellis is a responsible use of court time and resources.

2). According to The Root, the KKK has threatened Ellis – and one of those threats was delivered by a local police officer. Since when are the Police the KKK's gophers? Or are they infact one and the same?

3) Heather stated repeatedly "I'm not resisting arrest". Why would continue to handle her with force and slam her head against the police vehicle?

4) In a "I'll show you move" the District Attorney increased the charges from a misdemeanor to a felony charge after Ellis refused to accept the plea deal. 15 years is what they give people for manslaughter. Heather did you kill the clerk?

5) Walmart clerk, don't let me catch you in the streets...

Nevertheless, form your on opinion, but if you believe as I do that Heather Ellis does not deserve 15 years in prison, please go to her site and sign the petition. Because as always, an Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Website: http://saveheatherellis.com/

All photos are property of Denise Huxtable. And since this is not a salary 9 to 5 joint, its often hard for us to constantly stay on top of things...

Bud is now a first year law student. Which means that I must spend at least 8 hours a day briefing cases and outlining class notes. Yea ya'll 8 hours a damn day! I didn't think this was real either, until I entered the library at 3pm and left at 11. Needless to say, law school ain't no joke. Every previous thought process that I had, has been broken down in a matter of minutes; and this is frustrating. It's all good though, I will get this J.D. in 2012!

So in regards to Cosby Kids, you will still be hearing from me, just not as much. All I ask is that you don't forget about your boy Bud and his controversial articles. Remember the "Plight of the Single Brutha?" That's still my favorite article to this day. And remember when I went through that phase of giving out relationship advice to everyone? That was hilarious. And then came the angry Black Bud, who was all about exposing racism. I still feel that way though. Wait, why am I speaking about myself as if I am dead, or never blogging again? LOL. Now what's wrong with that statement?

Is it:

A) The fact that he produced a song called, 'Kill Me a Cop' and thought nothing would happen to him? or

B) That he was convicted for a song he wrote as a youth?

Hmmm, I'm going with C) Both A & B. According to sources, "Authorities say 20-year-old Antavio Johnson raps about killing two Lakeland, Fla., police officers in the tune, which cops found on MySpace while surfing for gang-related activity." He has since then been sentenced to two years in prison for his lyrics.

Okay, my people, we have to do better. Now, certainly he didn't deserve such a harsh sentence for a song he wrote as a kid! Do I think he should get off easily? No. But I mean, geesh, not two whole years! More importantly, where are his parents? They should be locked up too...for letting their son declare the name of cops he wanted to kill by name(...yeah, he stupid).

He messed up too--he should've lawyered up the minute he saw the Blue (instead of trying to slip them his most recent mix tape). I have no worries though, I'm sure Al Sharpton or someone of his likeness will come to the rescue yet again...

Is that a blunt in Barack's Mouth...or Phototrick?

Yo...I would be a fooooool if I didn't say the Republicans are one of God's most creative creatures. What better way to amass more anger on this healthcare reform platform, then to push out a grungy photo of Barack with a ciggy in his mouth.

It was printed on the cover of last week's AZGOP News with the picture running with the following caption: Broken promises, rampant government spending, and Chicago-style politics have marred the first 200 days of the Obama Presidency according to Arizona Republican Chairman Randy Pullen.

As the Politics Daily notes, "...the picture seems to speak louder that any boilerplate, partisan PR wording ever could. Um….hellllllll no.

The newscaster made the forward suggestion during a guest appearance on the “Fox & Friends” morning show on Tuesday. He specifically said that, Obama undeniably exposed himself as someone with “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.” Of course his statements came during a discussion of Obama’s remarks surrounding the Henry Gates situation. Gate is black and was allegedly arrested by a white officer over a ‘misunderstanding about a break-in’ at his home.

Now, I was seething when I heard this!! But then I had to look at the situation and ask myself should I really be angry that he made those comments in front of millions of people? Well, probably not when you consider we’ve made some pretty blatant remarks about the president in the past. Lest you forget, think Kanye West. Remember those infamous words during the Grammys in 2005? President “Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Yeah, we too are guilty of making outlandish statements in front of the masses. “Hmmm, but that’s different”, you say? Naw, homies…it’s the same. I don’t agree with Beck, considering your boy is half white, but geesh, it’s hard to want to “hang him by the balls” when we are guilty of making the same kind of shocking comments about our Commander-In-Chief!

Picture of AKA President Wax Statue

In this June 2009 photo, Barbara McKinzie, international president of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, center, stands between wax figures of herself, right, and the late Nellie Quander, left, the sorority's first international president, at a sorority function in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. AKA, the country's oldest black sorority, is suing to have McKinzie removed alleging that she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of the group's money on herself _ some of it on the wax figure in her own likeness. McKinzie took offense to the contention in the lawsuit that she spent $900,000 on her wax likeness. She said a total of $45,000 was spent on the figures of Quander and herself. Great piece.

I have thought this to myself before, maybe once or twice. But I cannot tell you why. That is by far one of the most disgusting things that a man could do, well, besides urinate on a minor, on film. Why do men jump through so many hoops and swim across so many rivers for sex? Why do we put the woman of our dreams on layaway while we shop around at these alternative thrift stores for all the cheap, lower end women? Why do women expect that if you are an accomplished, intelligent, attractive, educated man that you probably have an insane amount of sexual partners?

I have a friend who was dating a young lady for over a year and a half. Their relationship was fine; they both enjoyed every aspect of their relationship. But out of nowhere he would get these urges to break up with her, denoting that he is ‘naturally single.’ I guess Oprah isn’t the only asexual human being. And he then proceeded in making a list of girls that he wanted to have sex with. Another associate of mine said that he had sex with 50+ girls FOUR years ago, at which he was 21 years old. Now he boasts about being around 100. When I questioned him about, why so many? He says, “why not, you must not like p*ssy!” But then when a woman asked him how many partners he has slept with, he has the nerve to say he’s a virgin, or instead give a number that’s less than 10. I have seen so many males manipulate situations and break hearts to get one thing, never considering the collateral damage. But as soon as a woman gives them a taste of their own medicine, they begin using that as an excuse not to settle down (myself included). How ironic is that?

And you never know the repercussions until it’s too late. Once you’ve been with that many women, it’s a habitual process to always be on the prowl. And how can you expect your wife to be a virgin when you have a piece of 50+ women attached to soul? And do you really want to spend the time to teach her all the tricks you’ve amassed over the years, of course, since you lost your virginity at 13? Once you’ve been deemed a player, there’s no coming back. The real women out there, the Michelle Obama’s, are not going to invest time in a man that is known more for his head, than his head. Do you know how difficult it is to explain to your significant other why you have so many female friends? “I was raised by women so I get along with them easier.” That’s the one I use the most.

The other day I was listening to a song that says “I want the money, the cars, the clothes; the hoes….I just wanna be successful.” I am glad that those things are defining what success is today. Well let’s define success. In 2007, there were approximately 3,301,112,087 women in the world. To have sex with them all you would have to devote 55,018,534 hours or 2,292,438 days or 6,280 years to accomplish this feat. Wilt wasn’t even close.

Wait, did I just call that sh*t an accomplishment?! I am TRIPPING.
