Well here we go with the rest of my Revlon mysterious freebies, along with the gloss, i also got this wonderful eyeshadow palette. Only recently did i realise that this was a limited edition set! You can still buy this at the moment in stores - and the retail price currently is £12 from Superdrug - however they're having it on sale atm for £8, so that's pretty awesome really considering the price of most Revlon products.

Revlon - Soft On The Eyes Sheer Loose Shadow

Revlon's bio for this product is:

'Encircle eyes with a unique "watercolor"-inspired palette of four ultra-light loose shadows. The formula is sheer yet buildable, to adapt coverage and provide increased color impact as desired. Unique quad with mixing well and brush allows for maximum shade play and customization of color and beauty look. Available in 3 shadow quads.'

I actually received the quad 'Head In The Clouds' which is pictured above, and wow - what an amazing selection of colours - i think i got the most colourful of the three as one is a nudes quad and the other is more based on Autumn.. much darker colours.

Well this was the beauty i received - totally awesome stuff, i'll be honest with you - when i first got it i was a bit confused at how they could do sheer loose powder in a compact (it looked pressed in the palette), then i became scared of opening it - i imagined a ridiculous amount of product flying about! But when i opened it.. such an awesome gliding plastic cover rolls off the pigments when opened, and rolls back when closed - as you can see, there's a little mirror in the lid, and little holes over the pigment top to get just enough pigment on your brush. There's a little contour for mixing and foiling, and the brush that came with it - small but so soft and doesn't shed.. i'd buy this just for the brush really - so wonderful!

The only issue is the packaging.. it reminds me of the '80's... really.. meh green for the front with white plain writing? And a splooge in the corner to make it look more high end? Stop, what are you DOING Revlon?? The product is perfection.. if it didn't have this front on the packaging. The actual wearability of these products are endless.. so summery, you can foil them in the contour tray, or create new shades altogether! When applied dry - they're a beautiful soft bunch of colours.. and wet they're so wild and in your FACE! The minerals aren't milled quite as fine as TSS pigments and i will never change my mineral products to Revlon - or any other company - as those pigments are the best you can find. But this is better than other companies out there.. so well done Revlon :P. 9/10

As the title says.. yesterday i received my expected parcel from E.l.f, but somehow.. i got this little surprise!
Yeah, weird right? Well that's what i thought.. i have no idea where this came from, the parcel had my name and address handwritten on it, but with the Revlon stamp so.. did i win a competition i forgot about? Who knows, so here's some pics and reviews etc..

First things first - i got three extremely awesome products. So i'll go in simple order.

NEW! Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze
Well here's the product on the site (above) and here's the actual product i recieved (below), not a bad looking product - infact it looks really gorgeous.. the packaging is just yum! But the lid made me think there was something in it, i don't know why lol!

Here's a good bio of the product from the Revlon site:

'Revlon’s first longwearing lip gloss with a unique mineral complex that provides a glossy seal of conditioning color. Just one application of this cushiony formula keeps lips coated with comfortable color for up to 8 hours, with no need for touch-ups. Available in 12 gorgeous, glossy shades.'

Well, i got the shade in Neverending Nude, and this is what the colour is meant to look like, as opposed to the actual swatch.

As you can see.. nothing alike!! I would seriously be so pissed off if i bought this thinking that mauve colour was what i was expecting.. there is nothing wrong with the actual formula.. the product itself is nice - a bit thick - but nice! However this is a completely silly difference in colour - what i got was something more sandy/orangey than mauvey. Oh well.. the brush is your standard gloss brush, and the formula is thick, non sticky and lasts for ages! But the colour is just such a disappointment. Not sure about the retail price currently, as this is a new product that hasn't been added to any online drugstore such as boots. Hopefully this product will be put up in the next few weeks as the actual product is great - just not loving the colour! 8/10

Application

Avon's big colour eye pencil - mint breeze (US sub - try vanilla), Moral Enemy all over lid, Can't hide from Karma outer lid and above crease, Shot the messenger inner lid and brow bone, and Broken Rules along lower lash line. Add a gold liquid liner to the top lash line, making a long thin flick and take a dark green liquid liner and make a thin flick out from the corners of your eyes, just underneath the gold.
Whiten the waterline, add some black mascara and you're done hunny! And for some fun, i added some violet gloss to the lips in thin coats to give just a bright pop.

Application

Valley Girl foiled all over lids, Click Your Heels + Orange Iridescent on the inner lid and lower lash line, Shards Of Glass on the outer lid, working up to the brow bone and Snow Capped along the brow bone, blending into the black and pink. Black kohl to line top and outer bottom lash line, as well as the waterline and hot pink liner on the inner bottom lash line. Black mascara applied with one coat and hot pink mascara on the tips.
Apply some medium hot pink lippy with a slick of clear gloss over the top!

LIPS

E.L.F Moisture Care Lip Colour - Ruby Slipper

Application

Apply face similar to Candy Cane look.
Layer two coats of the firming serum to the lid - from lash line to brow and wait for a few seconds for each coat to set. Create a medium line all along the top and bottom lash line, making a small flick along the outer corners, then apply Typical Mania dry all over the middle and outer lid, going just upto the crease. Blend Acidic reign very carefully on the outer lid and crease, making sure to blend what is left outwards towards the brow bone to get a classic smokey effect. Layer Exiled from Eden onto the inner lid, making sure the colour blends just a little with the turquoise. Add Snow capped onto the brow bone for a classic highlight and blend into Acidic Reign to help keep a more flow of colour.
Add some tuquoise liquid liner onto the inner top lash line to keep that pop of colour that would have been covered by the eyeshadow, make sure that line isn't too thick! Add some darker turquoise onto the outer lash line to define the eyes a little, make sure there is a little blending between the two liners to keep that flow of colour. Add some black mascara and whiten the waterline!
Add a little colour to the lips, then pat down on a bit of tissue to not get too much colour. The attention is on the eyes remember and we need a flush of colour, not a pop!

Application

Start off by thickly applying some foundation with a blending sponge, making sure to get into all the fiddly bits like the eyes and nose. Conceal any dark circles or spots, and fill in brows. Apply some bronzer all over - focusing under the cheekbones and forehead. Groom the brows with the gel - smoothing down any flyaway hairs. Buff some powder all over to help the foundation and concealer set.
Run the shadowstix all over the lid, then foil School Girl in glycerin and apply to the lid and lower lash line, creating a sheer, smooth base. Blend wilted rose onto the outer lid, going just upto the crease, and apply laughing outcast very lightly to the crease, working upwards towards the brow bone, then gently shade in the outer lower lash line, blending smoothly away. Apply girl genius to the inner corners, tearduct and lower lash line and snow capped to the brow bone to brighten and neutralise the look a little.
Apply a medium line of the brown liquid liner to the top lash line, following the natural lash line as closely as possible. Add some brown liner to the outer lower lash line and blend away, then whiten the waterline and add some lashes of black mascara.
Fill in the lipline with the dark pink lip pencil, then create a bow just above the v of the top lip with the pale pink pencil to create some highlights and instantly pouts the lip up, making them look fuller. Layer some luschious pinky/purple gloss over the top and you're ready for either the day or night!

Review: E.L.F Brightening Eye Color - Drama

More E.L.F reviews lol! Hopefully i'll get to an avon review as well as some other brand this weekend.. enjoy!

Packaging: Grr.. it's quite cheaply made, as i expect for the price.. but it makes me feel like it came from a kids makeup set.. the applicator is very soft and flimsy for a sponge applicator.. but the lid hasn't broken off. White on the bottom, clear lid with silverish writing, makes it difficult for me to see what the heck it says on it. The Palette name is on a little tiny sticker on the bottom, in teeny weeny writing, forgivable for the smaller products. Not for this big assed product. Boo.

Shade/s: Starts off with a white - slightly off looking when applied.. not the best white in the world, but it's decent enough for under the brow bone or on the tearduct *sigh*. Then there's a pale grey with a little bit of silver sparkle, quite pretty for it being such a dull colour, i wouldn't call it silver so don't go thinking it's that either. Then it's followed by a medium grey with a hint of silver shimmer, quite nice really, definately one of my favourite shades. Finally there's a black - not really magical and not all that pigmented enough for it to be a rich black - quite a lot of layers are needed for this colour. Good enough for a dark smokey eye - and good enough for it to be a travelling staple.

Texture: The white is very matte, not a shimmer like i was hoping it to be.. and you need quite a few layers for this unfortunately, so i hate using this much, but it's needed for a smokey eye look.. grr! The pale grey is quite soft and blendable and the glitter isn't too in your face or bitty, so the texture is really quite nice, expecially when foiled. The medium grey is quite nice also.. soft, blendable and pigmented, and the slight shimmer is quite professional and classy, so i love this one! The matte black is.. crud to say the least.. but it's needed for me. It takes quite a lot of layers to be able to use this properly, and a lot of blending is needed, when foiled it turns a dark grey unless again, a lot of product is used.

Price: For a staple..ish product, £1.50 is pretty decent, however i can tell it's that price by both the packaging and the textures of two of the shades.. so it's not really a deal. Meh, don't get at me, it gets a good enough score for what it actually is.

Wearability: I wouldn't wear this a lot due to the white and black, and how irritating it is.. but as a general basic palette that can be used as a staple, its wearable for the day or night. The greys make it daytime friendly and the black can vamp it up quickly for night. Soo i can't complain, no smudging or creasing either. Plus it stays put until it's washed off so ok, full marks.

Application

Apply the face stuff similar to the Bee In The Bonnet Look.
Foil twisted psychic all over the lid, going up to the crease. Blend root of evil on the outer lid, going a little up towards above the crease, then layer high drama thinly along the inner lid. Use pinch of magic lightly as a highlighter and add a thick white line to the lower lash line.
Whilst that's drying, apply the grey liner thinly to the top lash line, making a slight flick, then whiten the waterline. Add black liner thinly and very closely to the lower lash line, making sure you leave a white gap below the black. Make a small flick inbetween the grey and white flicks to join them. Add some mascara, making sure the brush them out for a finishing look.
Lay some mauve lippy all over the middle of the lips, blending them out to the lipline with a small flat lip bush.

Hey i haven't been able to update this thing for a little bit due to internet hogging and a problem with blogger *sigh*. Anyway story behind this is simply i had to see the doc, so i had to do something natural but magical ;). More suited for warm toned gals - i'm a neutral so i suit all colours - due to the copper hues. I'll do a cool toned pinkie thing at some point to make up for it.

Application

Buff two thin layers of foundation over face to get a natural sheer coverage, covering up any bad areas with concealer. Fill in brows and set all over with some mineral makeup for full coverage and to mattify the look. Apply some powder under cheekbones, making sure the colour is only a few shades darker than your natural skintone. Apply some gold highlights all over and blend.
Apply creamy ice pencil from lash line to brow and apply angels blush foiled over the top of the pencil to create a waterproof dual shimmer base. Apply happy to be here very lightly over the middle of the lids upto the crease, and gently blend in oh precious patience on the outer lide, slowly blending away the colour outwards to create a natural fading effect. Add some rockin egyptian to the inner corners, tearduct and lower lash line.
Apply some gilded pencil along the top and bottom lash line, making sure to smude it along the corners to create a natural glow. Add some brown liquid liner along the top lash line, creating a thin natural looking line to thicken the lash look, stopping at the outer corners. Add a coat of brown mascara, making sure to curl the lashes beforehand. Whiten the waterline if necessary to create a white awake look, making sure to blend a little at the corners.
Gently dab some nudeish looking lippy onto the centre of the lips to create a lovely pouty look.. Yum!

Ok here we go good review to start off the morning before i have to go see the doc *sigh* i hate prepping.. should get this look up tonight - it's alright, not my best, but for you gals who like more normal things, this is for you!

Packaging: Cute little white lidded liquid liner tube.. 4 inches roughly in length, but there's a lot of product in here! Has a clear main part of the tube with the branding and spring/summer motif for the collection - a flower. I appreciate the applicator being in the lid, it's a small - very thin - brush.. makes it a little difficult to apply the product, but nice nonetheless.

Shade/s: Beautiful!! Perfect for spring/summer.. can be used for almost any look really.. minty more than turquoise, but wow this is stunning.. looks like mint ice cream! Full points!

Texture: Smooth and dries instantly, no waiting around for things to dry. However, there's a slight delay so you can correct any smudges or mistakes. Not too thin and not too thick of a consistency.. perfect!

Price: Cheapy cheap.. got it in sale of 3 for £5.. so that's a steal. The retail price is actually £3.. which is ridiculously cheap even there. Buy it i say! Better than most liners i've come across.

Wearability: Good for that summer/spring look, definately a lovely flattering colour for all skin tones and types. You can wear this colour with a variety of different shades.. blues, greens, heck even yellow! Not really suitable for formal situations like work etc... unless used on the lower lash line. But most people don't do that, so a bit of a fall back. But it lasts all day... ALL DAY! FTW!

Ok this was the look i actually went out in.. very sweet, i don't normally go for blues.. but i wanted to use my custom pigments. Tomoz will be golds and browns as i have the doc appointment in the afternoon *sigh* but i'll do a crazy look in the evening for funzies.. mix up some elf shadows with some about face ones. No pics of the products today i'm afraid - batteries were running out by the time i got my few face ones :(!

Application

Apply face similar to Bewitching Fruit to start!
Right, foil extra caution all over the lids. Blend dark secrets onto the outer half of the lid and above crease, then layer some more extra caution to the middle and inner lid for impact. Thinly apply snow capped as a highlighter just under the brows.
Line the outer top lash line with the black liquid liner, making a large thin flick at the end. Apply the blue liner on the top lash line and again, make a big flick, but make it much longer than the black one. Line the bottom lash line with silver and do the same step as with the blue, connecting up with the end of the blue liner. Line the waterline in black pencil and apply at least 3 lashes of mascara.
Layer a few thick coats of the pale pink gloss and you have yourself a spiffing look! Pair it with whites and blues tees, jeans or skirts for an awesome look!

Lol here we go.. something a little bit more darker and subtle.. great when paired with something subtle like a pair of black jeans, green top and purple accessories :P. Soo adorable. Did an Amy Winehouse do today, quite fun really.. only had it in for a few hours though as i got sick of having to keep an eye on it Grr! I'm not going to go into a full tutorial today, so the application part will be extremely brief i'm afraid! Sorry gals but i've got some work to be doing!

Application

Layer the foundation over skin, blending with a wedge around the hairline, jawline, nose and eye area. Apply the avon concealer around the eye area and the elf concealer around spots. Fill in brows and buff some face powder over face to set base. Apply the bronzer under the cheekbones and the blush over the cheekbones.
Apply lilac ice over the lids up to the crease for the base, and apply some Save The Trolls to the inner lids. Next Stop Oz then goes on the outer lids, but only upto the crease, because now you'll get Symphony Of Chaos and blend it into the crease, working upwards slightly towards the brow bone. Wishing Well then goes on the inner lids and lower lash line. Finish off the shadow with Snow Capped as a highlighter!
Now you need to define the eyes by adding some of the liquid liner to the top lash line, following the natural eye shape and stopping at the corners. Apply the kiwi pencil to the waterline and add at least 2 coats of mascara to the lashes.
Define and shape the lips with the mauve pencil, and fill in the lips with the Berry gloss.

Liquid Lips Makeup - Cherry

Application

Focusing on the eyes this time, apply Fire and Brimstone all over the lid, up to the brow bone foiled. Apply Cherry Red dust on the outer 1/3 of the lid only, going upto the crease and no further.
Work Oh Precious Patience into the crease only, blending as you go along into the red and orange. Foil Follow The Sun onto the inner 1/2 of the lid, gradually fading out. Apply follow the sun and oh precious patience onto the lower lash line - yellow on the inner portion, brown on the outer. Dust some Broken Rules all over the brow bone.
Line the top lash line with black kajal, making a wing shape at the outer corners. Apply white onto the waterline and add lashings of black mascara.
Finish off with two layers of the cherry gloss. Lush!!

Avon Colortrend Rosy Lips Tin - Peony Pink

Application

Buff over the anew foundation with a large foundation brush. Whilst leaving it to set, mix a few blobs of some of your normal moisturiser with a teaspoon or two of the mineral face powder, stirring until you get a paste. Smooth that over your face with a smaller foundation brush, creating a smooth canvas. Any really bad spots/under eye circles with your regular concealer. Fill in brows and set with gel.
Buff Seeing stars just under your natural cheekbones, blending up to the temples. Layer the Luminance powder over cheekbones to create a stunning natural highlight.
Smother your lids with the surf eye pencil, creating a smooth base for your look. Don't blend! You want to achieve a shape similar to this one.
Now foil a few coats of Chasing Mystery all over the lids and lower lash line, covering the base completely, keeping the rough shape so you end up with something like this..
Grab Art of Noise and be prepared for some fall out. Basically, don't go layering it all on at once, use thin layers at a time until you get the desired look. Take a medium sized brush and place the colour in a C shape on the outer lid to define the sockets. Blend it upwards and outwards, until you're close to the brow bone. Touch up the lower lash line by placing a small bit of colour on the outer lower lash line.
Now we need to lighten the look up a little. Take Moral Enemy and gently blend it onto the inner lid, inner lower lash line and above the crease.. working into Art of Noise and upto the brow bone. Then take Snow Capped and lightly dust it under the brows and blend into Moral Enemy so you end up with a more blended, professional look.
Take some mixing medium (or water) and mush a little Shards Of Glass to get a thin paste. Smooth it along your top lash line, keeping close to the lashes as possible. Make the smallest of flicks at the end. Now take the Sea Green liquid liner and line the lower lash line , joining up with the black flick.
Finally for the eyes, line the waterline with the turquoise pencil and add a few thick coats of the black mascara (making sure to brush it out with a lash comb) to finish this baby off!
For the lips, take the LE palette and use the lip scrub, lip balm and lip plumper to prep the lips so they look big a adorable. Next, using a large lip brush, layer a thick coat of the Peony pink gloss onto the top and bottom lips. Dab lips onto a bit of tissue paper and add another layer to set. All done!

Sorry but i have to get this off of my chest - why should guys get to look prettier than us gals? Not fair. Superdrug now have decided to let guys have their own brand on liner. For £6.50. Guys - you have to be an idiot to go for this.. just because it says guyliner on the side doesn't mean you're allowed to shove an extra £3 on it. Buy something cheap and you can pretend it's for your girlfriend/sister/mother.
I'll give this product less than a year before i see it off the shelves. If my guy has liner on then it's cause he asked me to put it there. I use my own liner on him.. just as he asks. Target audience for this product? Goths, emos and the alternative scene. So don't target superdrug.. because they rarely go there. Target the goth shops and be done with it. Jeez..

E.L.F Featherproof Moisturising Lip Liner - Mauve Luxe

I know, large long image right there lol. Anyway, hope everyone is doing alright out there in cheap makeup land. Head on over to my favourite site at the moment to check out the new summer limited edition with a magical theme. I endorse it fully. Now onto the generic review!

Packaging: Can't say much.. it came shrink-wrapped originally, which is always annoying.. but anyway, thats not the point. It's a pencil. The lid stays on firmly and is see through, so thats handy if you dont have the time to go around reading the labels. The silver embossed writing on the side of the pencil is a little annoying as in some lights it can be difficult to see, but i prefer it to black plain writing. Basically i prefer the asthetics side to it. Came with a white pencil sharpener, so thats cute.

Shade/s: Mauve Luxe - odd name, but such a pretty colour. Originally i wasn't so sure.. im not the type of person to go big on mauve for the lips.. but i bought it anyway for the sake of trying new things. I'm glad i tried it. Quite natural, but adds a lovely tint to the lips. Most women with any skin tone should buy this as it's not as mauve as it looks.

Texture: Very smooth texture to this, not chunky and cheap. Very good quality for what it is, gives a matte finish to the lips, making it very appealing to most people. Big gripe is that it says extremely clearly on the label that it's MOISTURISING. What? How can a lip pencil be moisturising? Is it a cream?? No. Sorry, it's your average lip liner.. not creamy, not magic. Don't say something does something that it can't possibly do. Minus points for this flaw!

Price: £1.50 for a lip liner isn't bad.. but i'll be honest, i can get the same sort of thing off ebay for the same price. However, it's still good value for what it is.. so i can't complain. Especially since it came with a brilliant sharpener that isn't cheapy cheap and hasn't broken yet!

Wearability: Now it says on the label that it's featherproof - which it is. I'm surprised. I thought i'd be lied to twice on this label.. but i was wrong. It lasted all day. No smudging, no irritations. The colour is natural and gorgeous for anytime. You can't go wrong with buying this product to be honest.

The Rosy Lips Tins are part of Colortrend's Spring/Summer 2008 Collection. I actually bought the whole collection on it's immediate release, so i'll again gradually be working my way through, as it's a good collection to check out for bright colours.

Packaging: As in the description, the rosy lips tins are.. actually in tins. Not very large tins really, a couple of inches or so in length, however there's quite a lot of product inside, making it a really good deal. The lid slides off, but isn't loose or too stiff, making it a really sturdy product. The design on the front is super cute, with the collections motif of a small flower on the front with the details of the product along the side and the colour name is on a sticker on the back. Really sturdy stuff, great for travel, handbags.. everywhere, anytime i think the idea for this is. Clever considering they were thinking of the women that would be going on holiday at this time.

Shade/s: Violet bloom is a rich, vivid metallic purple with a hint of pink. Has beautiful little tiny silver/purple sparkles in, making this so lush on the lips. It's not a versatile colour, good for anywhere but work lol, but i'm sure most women would try it with this beauty. Definately my favourite shade of the bunch.

Texture: Goopy. Extremely soft, don't go thinking this is a very hard lipstick, because it sure as hell isn't. I mean the pigmentation is so strong, most people would call this a lipstick, but the consistency is more a thick gloss. Not a bad thing, but it isn't hair proof, extremely sticky. That's the only problem with this really, but for me that's a big thing if i'm going out for a while.

Price: Very good value, got this around £1.50 in a sale, whereas normally it's about £3.50. The amount of product you actually get is worth the retail price, however the texture isn't for everyone so i'd try and get it in the sales if you can.

Wearability: Here's the thing. The shade is gorgeous, but not something you could reach for most mornings. The consistency isn't all day proof (or if you're out in bad weather, 10 minutes proof) and you need a lip brush to apply this every time. You CANNOT use your fingers for hygiene and product life reasons (aka it will go everywhere). So this means that the only reason you will wear this often is if your high maintenance, always have loads of time to put the slap on, and don't go anywhere. Buy it for the colour and the novelty.. and perhaps if you like the texture. Nothing more.

Application

Apply the face stuff the same as i've done in the Dark Side Of The Fire look.
Apply Mint Breeze all over the lids, blending lightly to create a waterproof base. Layer Heart of Stone lightly on the outer lid, blending only a little, going up to the crease.
Lack Of Sanity should be applied in two thin layers across the inner and centre of the lid, going just upto the crease. Blame the rain should gently be blended on the inner corner, above the crease and on the lower lash line. Touched By Truth goes just on the brow bone and should gently overlap blame the rain above the crease.
Line the top and lower lash lines thickly with the brown pencil, creating big cat eyes with just a little flick, following the lower lash line and extending it. Line the waterline with the white pencil if wanted. Two coats of mascara to finish the eyes.
Using a lip brush, thinly layer the coffee lipstick onto the lips, blending well to help set the staying power of the lipstick. Another coat should be added onto the bottom lip to give a little bit more definition (if your top lip is larger, apply the second coat there instead). Dot a little bit of the gloss onto the middle of the lips and gently blend towards the inner portion of the lips. Done!

Packaging: The packaging is a cute little white tube with a nice clear lid and a twist bottom, to help push the product up or down. Problem is the size of the product - it was quite small.. not too small for the price, but smaller than what i expected. Cheap though, so i'll probably top up when i run out.

Shade/s: Fair is the palest colour they have, and at first i thought it would be too orange, but after swatching and blending, i actually find it adapts to my skin tone. Covers beautifully over red areas, neutralising extremely well.

Texture: Best texture for a foundation/concealer ever. Creamy, thick but not cloggy. Can apply with a brush or fingers. Doesn't dry up, or make me greasy. Extremely good quality and coverage. One layer of this = 4 layers of most other brands, but with the same, if not better consistency and soft look.

Wearability: I can wear all day long, no grease, smudgyness, dryness, itching.. perfect. Great for picture taking too - neutralises and makes you look gorgeous without looking 'made up'. Small amount of product only needed to achieve that flawless look. Perfect and blendable.

Not one of the best smokey eyes in the world.. but its a start with red, purple and pinkish tones.. perfect for that LBD. Weather is reasonable overcast this morning, but looking out the window now, looking good. Might pop into New Look and pick up this baby in a size 6/8 (US 2/4), depending on the fit on the hips.. i hate mini skirts that go too high on the hips..

Application:

Apply foundation, concealer and brows as usual, keeping it light and matte if possible. Gently rub the highlighter stick over top of cheekbones and cupids bow, blending gently around the edges. Contour face with the bronzer powder, lightly buffing under the cheekbones, working down the the jawline and out towards the temples. Buff the cashmere stockings over the face - same as your usual face powder.
Rub a couple of layers of the berry pencil over the lids and crease, gently blending the look with pinkie finger around the edges. Foil Lucifers chariot and place all over the lid and middle lash line, then layer it again dry over the top to create a striking look. Darken out the look by placing several layers of Zelda's revenge on the outer lids and lower lash line, and blending out to the brow bone. Gently lighten the look by dabbing some Little Candy Kisses over the inner lids and lower lash line. Finish off with Snow Capped as a highlighter all over the brow bone.
Get the black kohl and line the upper and lower lash line, as well as the waterline. Finish off with two coats of black mascara, and set them by powdering the lashes with zelda's revenge - giving a more richer black with little sparklies all over. When done correctly, this helps mascara from fading, smudging and even can lengthen and thicken the lash look.
Apply some gloss over lips and you're ready to go :P!

Again, another creation with the help of my lovely bf - basically i picked kitty kat and said to him, 'find me a colour whilst i clean your tv' or something.. and he ended up picking the most yummy colours.

Application:

Lightly buff some foundation over skin.. use only a small amount, as i'm trying to execute a summer light coverage. Conceal wherever needed with the mousse makeup and the elf cover stick. Fill in brows, and rub a little of the cream blush onto the apples of the cheeks, making sure to blend out evenly. From under the cheekbones down to the jawline, contour the face with a dark bronzing powder to set the look. Buff your usual face powder wherever needed.
Use the Lilac Ice pencil all over the lid to the browbone for a base. Using your pinky finger, gently blend until you get a light coverage like so.
Get Elves Rule and layer it onto the middle 1/3 of lids. Then gently blend Pinch of Magic over the inner 1/3 of lids and above crease lightly to achieve this sort of look.
Apply Kitty Kat onto the outer 1/3 of lid, gently blending outwards towards the brow bone. Swish a little Snow Capped under brow bones. Gently line the top lash line with the black liner, starting off with a very thin line, and ending up with a medium sized flick off to the side of the eye. Take the silver liner and follow up onto the lower lash line, again, flicking off underneath the black flick. Put white pencil on the waterline, and coat lashes with black mascara.
Add a layer or two of the lipstick and small coat of clear lipgloss to finish it off.

Most people love Boots - you can get almost anything from them at a cheap, reasonable price and p&p. Boot's even have their own range, famous for their successful eye creams and cosmetics.
Now, you can try and buy anything up to the value of £20 or more, from the Boots No.7 range and get this free little doozie, that most people would buy individually. Offer expires 12th of August, so you don't need to rush your orders just yet.
Exclusively designed by Lisa Eldridge, the summer palette contains a face powder for fair/medium skintones, a rosy nude blush, 4 eyeshadows of pale aqua, dark brown, dark flesh colour and a mauve. Also contains two lip colours in a reddish brown and a dark fuschia pink, as well as a small blush brush, and a duo ended lip brush and sponge eye applicator.
I have to admit, both the eye and lip colours are a weird combination for a summer palette. Infact, aqua AND fushcia pink..? Probably not the best combinations for a palette full stop. And i hate it when face powders are just shoved into palettes.. believe it or not, there are other people with different skin tones that buy and wear makeup. Ugh, even though i'm not loving this palette much at all, you of course can prove me wrong. Got it? Tell me what it's like, maybe i'm just being catty.

Review: E.L.F All Over Color Stick - Pink Lemonade

Thought i'd do what i'd promised and slowly review bits from my e.l.f order the other week. Anyway, sorry this post is a bit late, but i slept a lot of yesterday and i wanted to give a coherent review of sorts lol.

Packaging: The packaging is a cute little white tube with a nice clear lid (appreciate this highly, definately helps on busy mornings) and a twist bottom, to help push the product up or down. Problem is the size of the product - it was quite small.. not too small for the price, but smaller than what i expected. However, after swatching, i can't imagine going through this like lightning.

Shade/s: A very soft, pretty pink with a sheer shimmer to it and when blended well gives a natural radiant flush. I've seen various reviews of the colour, and i really think that the people applying this product must have been lathering the stuff on to give the 'tacky' colour. Sorry but most products and shades only get tacky when the person can't apply it properly.

Texture: Smooth and creamy, not goopy and thin. Worth the value, you only need a small amount of product to give a gorgeous wash of colour. Doesn't crease, or cake skin, however won't leave you wondering where you put the product because it never shows up. The only problem is that -as with most cream products- needs quite a bit of blending if used on face or eyes, without the blending, you'd look tarty to say the least.

Wearability: You can use this anywhere. I've tried and it works. On the eyes, it makes a perfect base under pink and peach eye looks, lips it gives a pretty shimmy flush (if used lightly) and on the face it's just perfect. As it happens, i store this with my face stuff as i tend to use this more for a light blush and highlight, rather than anywhere else. I'm also aware that other people with this product tend to use this on the face.. so expect this beauty to go on your cheeks more than most.
