Balanced results from rhinoplasty and chin augmentation were described in the report, which was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association online publication, Facial Plastic Surgery. The study followed 90 patients who had combined rhinoplasty and genioplasty procedures. The aesthetic outcome of the dual procedures was based on the relationship of the nose to the chin and neck, which contributes to a pleasing sense of proportion to the face. The report stated that reshaping only one feature, such as the nose, sometimes isn’t enough to bring the entire face into balance and improve the profile.

Further, the study also reported that the results from the combined surgery are fairly stable and offer long-term aesthetic enhancement with little change in either the nose or the chin over time.

Many of the normal activities usually associated with airplane travel can potentially create post-surgical complications. If you’re curious about the popular types of plastic surgery for older people, facelift and eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) are tops.
