Map of the Silver Spiral Galaxy

The image above is a drawing of the Galaxy where Cosmic Dash takes place. The first thing that you should notice is that the majority of the galaxy is listed as “unknown space”. This was important to me, conceptually, because I wanted a universe that will expand as I see fit, and only having a portion of the galaxy actually known by the characters is a great way to give me plenty of flex-room.

I do expect the things you noticed first, however were the colors and names. As of cycle 5682, the cycle that Cosmic Dash currently takes place in, there are two major powers in the galaxy. The Federation, and the Blassnaught Empire. Firmly nestled in strategic points, however, are the representatives of the Cyclopasian Neutrality I am aware neutrality is spelled incorrectly on the map, so I will need to update it.. The section of brown furthest east is The Frontier, which is the current focus of expansion between the Federation and Blassnaught Empire. New worlds and races are being discovered, and new conflicts in an escalating cold-war will arise. Naturally, the crew will find themselves involved with much of the activity in The Frontier, as many settlers and explorers will be in need of new equipment and supplies.

Over the course of the stories, the map will change and territories will expand and contract, such is the life of this collection of dust and gas. In the future, I will take aspects of the map, and clarify them for you further.

I really do want the site to reflect the comic, so I have decided to make small changes over time to accomplish this.

I certainly hope you don’t get a 404 error on my site, but I figure it would be a good place to start, so I created a custom graphic. I’ll post it here, as I hope you never get a 404 error on my site.
