Getting a boy a Batman costume for the holidays is a great way for him to dress up as their favorite superhero and play for hours on end pretending to be the Dark Knight in Gotham City.

The best part for him is that he learns some very good moral lessons from Batman. Batman doesn’t kill anyone and he is all for justice. He’s the ultimate good guy. Not only that, but he is a very humble person even though his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, is very rich and has everything he wants. That combination of humility and brute power is a good combination for boys to see.

Because boys are so influenced by their superheroes, it’s also nice to see Batman succeeding at fighting crime because he’s not actually super. He has no mystical powers. He is not from another planet. He doesn’t fly. He’s a normal person who have extraordinary will, perseverance, and skill. He is able to fight off bad guys because he has studied the martial arts. He’s able to outwit them because he is a very intelligent person. He’s a great role model for boys who see a great deal of violence in the media. Batman’s violence all has a purpose and is only used when absolutely necessary.

A little while later, while riding the subway, mom continued to ponder the piece of the gray outfit she saw in her son’s back pack. Lost in her thoughts, she missed her stop. A lovely little blonde girl reached out to finger the costume, smiling up at mom’s son. She giggled and took a bite of her sandwich. The boy smiled as he munched potato chips and appeared to be telling her a story. He chatted happily and motioned toward the costume. The blonde kept smiling and eating. Her boy was charming her with the old costume. Amazingly adorable.

IN one state a Court has just banned a man from putting on a Batman costume to be reinforced by his bail conditions. He was arrested in Petoskey where he was seen hanging from a building, equipped with a baton and a chemical spray.He made a press statement that he was being chased by people and decided to hide the best way he could.
The terms of his bail strictly set out that he many not wear any batman costumes fro a period of 6 months.

due to the detail on the muscles on the suit and a specially crafted mask and head set.
For women there is the $400 Batgirl costume. Included in the costume is a leotard and corset together with mask and gloves. You have to be a be a die hard enthusiast to get in that this end of the batman costumes market.

In another snippet on the batman theme, the 21st century perhaps takes away the fun of dressing up in a cape to play the role.
Rocksteady have a new game out that is situated on the streets of Gotham city itself. The backdrop is that the council has given up control of the slum area to criminals and surrounded them with a a high perimeter wall as a type of ghetto prison area.

For a soft collar that falls over your shoulders the hem is going to have to be 5 or 6 inches wide. Now sew a second seam one inch below and use that fro your draw string

To add the effect of mud spattering, mix together good mud colours such as brown black and red.
Use a damp sponge to dampen where you are going to add the mud spatterings effect.
Now dip the sponge in your mud paint and apply it o these damp areas. It will run a  little but this will add to the effect when it finally dries.

An extra effect you can use with the mud paitn ios to dilute the mud paint with water and then dip in a wet paint bruchs. Now flick this all over your fanric to give the effect of dried blood.

Avoid using acrylic paint on fabrics because it will stiffen too much. Use instead fabric paints, which will remain soft.

We might immediately think of frightening characters such as zombies and ghosts, but none might appeal quite so much as the legendary batman. He was after all a figure of the night and sits very well in the halloween genre.
If you are the creative type you might be able to watch an old movie from the 60s and then create a suit on that style.It is then very easy to buy some extra from your local store such as his belt and gloves etc to complete your creation.

To create your batman cape, take some black felt, 27″x 45″ . The longer sides is the top and bottom while the shorter sides are the left and right sides. Place a bowl half into the center top of the felt upside down. Using a chalk, draw a circle following the outer edge of the bowl and cut out the circule. This will be the cape’s neck. Now draw a line from the neck’s edge towards the right bottom edge. And the same on the left. Cut along the lines. Make a 12″ mark from the edge of both sides and an 9″ mark from the bottom. Shape the felt to connect the marks and cut away the rest.

Place the bowl halfway from the bottom. Draw a half circle along the sides of the bowl. Repeat this, moving the bowl to the last mark you made. Cut a rectangle, 15″x4″ using the black felt cut outs. Find out the cape’s center top and the strip’s center. Fold the strip in half and put it over the neck and glued it in place. Glue some Velcro on the extension on the neck. Be sure the circle is not tight around the neck. With a print of the batman symbol from your computer, trace your pattern on the yellow-colored foam sheet and stick it on the back of the cape.

The first Batman film is a mixed lot. Harvey Dent appears in the film to set up stuff for potential sequels but none of the Harvey Dent parts in the first Batman are used in Batman Forever.
