I couldn’t have asked for a better engagement session with Kristen and Jason – or a more down to earth couple to work with.  They traveled quite a bit of distance to come to little ol’ Dorchester County looking for the rustic setting that I typically shoot in.  And I’m glad that they did.  We ventured around down town Cambridge taking advantage of the nooks and crannies then hit the road and headed south for some old barns and open fields.  These two are just so easy going together and I loved finally getting to know them face to face!  Their wedding will be here before we know it and I can’t wait to see all the little details she has created.  Truly looking forward to it!

Rachel and Alex are the perfect description of sweet hearts.  I couldn’t have asked for better clients to have worked for – they are the most thoughtful and genuine couple you will ever meet.  Even though the day was dedicated to them, their only thoughts were that everyone else was comfortable and most importantly … having a good time.  And from the stories I heard I’m 100% positive it was an eventful night!

There is pretty much no way to sum up the amazingness that was their wedding day in words, it was simply flawless and full of love.

Over the past four years I’ve had the privilege of working with the Eastern Shore Dance Academy on their annual photo shoots and through that time have met some pretty awesome people.  There certainly is some incredible talent in Dorchester County!  (They have their Spring recital in a couple of weeks … you should come see it …) I was honored when Rachel contacted me about Senior Portraits – I feel like I’ve watched her grow through ESDA into a dedicated and beyond talented dancer.  She makes the moves seem so easy to maneuver through.  I’m always amazed with the girls skills.  Congratulations on your graduation Rachel and best wishes on all your future endeavors!

Its not everyday that I get to photograph a beautiful girl and a sweet handsome horse – what more could you ask for?  I couldn’t have asked for a better session with Lauren and Titan, he hammed it up for me and listened to our every command. Recently I had the upmost honor … the honor of photographing my best friend and her soon to be husband.  Their love and connection is beautiful and admired by more people then they realize.  So happy for the both of them, so honored to have photographed their engagement, and so blessed to be able to stand up with them on their special day.  Congratulations Chey and Al, and best wishes to your amazing future!

Ben and Ren recently had me out to their beautiful home on the river for a sweet engagement session.  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening together, they made my job way too easy.   Even their adorable dogs joined us down by the beach!  Take a look at a few of my favorites:

He woke up in the morning and wished her a happy anniversary – their first year together as a family was complete.  He told her that he had something planned for her that day, something that she would love.  She took a guess, nope, that wasn’t it.  Try again.  Second guess “Your getting Coty to take our pictures?”.  He didn’t really say much but headed to work. She phoned her sister in law to see if she would spill the beans but really couldn’t get anything out of her.   Matt returned home not too long after he had left for work to let Meghan know of the surprise for the day, but she had already left … to go get her nails done for their wedding re-enactment session.

I am so in love with this couple – not only are they incredibly sweet and thoughtful, they are so in love with each other and just a pleasure to be around.  He even had a bouquet made for her!  I’m honored to have been part of the anniversary surprise, and to have been one of Meghan’s guesses.

Meghan’s dress was the same one that her mom wore on her own wedding day, so sweet and it was lovely on her.

Haven’t you always heard that the older you get the more time flies?  Or at least that’s what I’ve always been told.  That, and to enjoy yourself while you can.  Here it is another week under our belts and I have no idea where all the time went.  Lately I’ve been thinking that I need to take “enjoy yourself while you can” into more consideration,  step out and enjoy life while your healthy and able to because life is way too short and lord knows what it has in store for you.
