I love when client’s book sessions just because.  And I also love when they spill the beans about their session that was meant to be a Christmas present … and I get to show them off online before the holidays!  Opps.

It was an honor that TJ and Morgan asked me to photograph them, and I loved the outcome of our laid back session together.   Take a peek at some of my favorites from that evening!

It makes me so excited to know that a client is excited for me to photograph them.  It’s what makes me love my job ten times more.   Aliza was such a pleasure to be able to photograph – confident in front of the camera and willing to go anywhere!  Her Mom even joined us and there may or may not have been a few tears shed during our time together.

Aliza – thank you for trusting me to document your senior portraits!  It was an incredible pleasure, and a blast to work with you.  Best wishes on all your future endeavors!

Sometimes you take for granted what is simply at your fingertips.  What a beautiful little town we live in and how gorgeous are all the nooks and crannies that can only be accessed by boat!   Brea and Randy took full advantage of the perfect fall evening to take a cruise, hit a few secluded beaches and have me out for their engagement session.  There couldn’t have been a more perfect evening.   Plus, the way they interact with each other makes my job seem effortless.  I loved working with you two!

This might be by far the sweetest senior I have ever worked with.

In fact – I keep forgetting that she is just a senior.  We’ve worked together for a few years now through the Eastern Shore Dance Academy and its been such a privilege to see her grow up into the wonderful woman she has become.  Kind, thoughtful, and compassionate – the list could go on and on for Aubree.  I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to document her senior session.  And I absolutely love the results.  Take a peek at a few of my favorites…

Announcing this years set of Mini Sessions!  

We couldn’t have picked a more dreamy summer evening for Jordan’s senior session.  The light was perfect, the temperature was just right and my model was incredibly sweet to work with!  I knew when we met up a couple weeks ago that it was going to be an awesome evening of making portraits together.

Jordan – thank you for putting up with all my requests and trusting me to capture such a sweet time in your life.  I’m truly looking forward to seeing where you go from here!

There could not possibly be a more loving/inviting/caring family to have the pleasure to work for.   I should also add – the honor to work with.  The moment I walked into the house that Sara and all the lovely ladies were prepping at I was welcomed warmly and felt like I was part of the family.  Frankly the entire day felt that way.  It is such an amazing experience to be able to document a wedding where everyone in attendance is thrilled to see two incredibly deserving people become one.

Sara and Kevin – thank you for trusting me to capture the moments of your wedding day!  I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!

FINALLY!  A bride who is a die hard Harry Potter fan!  Of course I had to bring along my books so we could get this shot!  Love.

The ceremony was supposed to be held outside on the lawn by the river but insane gusts of winds forced the ceremony inside.  No worries though!  Just a quick reset of the ceremony and everything was off without a hiccup.  Even the wedding arch made its way inside – hand crafted by no other then Sara’s Dad!

A favorite of mine …

We had been having such a great streak in beautiful weather lately, then we had Courtnie and Tommy’s engagement session … and of course it was cold.   Such strange weather lately.   But they braved the chilliness, and we waited for the sun to peak out from behind the clouds and our final result were some lovely images.  It was such a sweet evening exploring her grandparents property (which is stunning), and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing couple.  I truly can not wait for their wedding next year!  From all the details Courtnie has talked about its going to be beautiful.

I couldn’t have asked for a better engagement session with Kristen and Jason – or a more down to earth couple to work with.  They traveled quite a bit of distance to come to little ol’ Dorchester County looking for the rustic setting that I typically shoot in.  And I’m glad that they did.  We ventured around down town Cambridge taking advantage of the nooks and crannies then hit the road and headed south for some old barns and open fields.  These two are just so easy going together and I loved finally getting to know them face to face!  Their wedding will be here before we know it and I can’t wait to see all the little details she has created.  Truly looking forward to it!
