Except where noted, the dolls have not been removed from their boxes by Count Your Beans so there may be some slight variations we did not notice.

AP = Artist Proof - produced before final production. Usually does have a COA but may not have all final production accessories and may be slightly different than final production doll.

COA / COA # = Certificate of Authenticity number. This might be a number like COA # 5 or 6 or it might be noticed on the COA as AP 1 for Artist Proof # 1. Originally when Marie's dolls were produced through Knickerbocker, Marian, LLC and Charisma Brands, the first 6 dolls in the edition were set aside for Marie, the doll artist and the Charisma Brands vault. When you see us offer a doll available with a COA # of 6 or less, especially with these older dolls, it is extremely rare and a special treat because it was never before made available to the public. In this particular Silent Auction, we also have a # 2 COA and #1 COA doll!

FPS = First Production Sample or Prototype - Produced before AP dolls, the FPS dolls almost always have no COAs or hang tags and they may or may not have all their final production accessories. Sometimes they may have differences in dress, wig or accessories.

OOAK = One of A Kind - No other like it in existence.

MSRP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (may be a range as Charisma Brands and QVC sometimes vary in their interpretation of MSRP)

Please note that photos shown are almost always stock photos from Charisma Brands (formerly Marian, LLC, formerly Knickerbocker) and that dolls in final production may vary a bit, especially if they are Artist Proof, Prototype or First Production Samples. In 1958, Walt Disney recognized the need to have special tours conducted at Disneyland for dignitaries and celebrities visiting the Park, so he created the position of "Disneyland Tour Guide". Walt wanted the Tour Guides to be easily recognizable yet dignified, so the Disneyland Costume Department chose a combination of a beautiful Scottish plaid and enchanced it with elegant equestrian touches.

Marie Osmond has captured the essence of the original Tour Guide with a lovely face personally sculpted by Marie. This 14" standing collectible porcelain doll with auburn hair and blue-green eyes comes complete with her own pin trading lanyard and limited edition pins.

She was originally a Disney Exclusive in 2003 and is now very hard to find!

As a wife, mother and celebrated artist, Kymberli Durden has been provided a close up view of the myriad of emotions that children's faces reveal. She sculpts for Artista and Paradise Galleries, both brands of Charisma.

Artista Dolls are certified by a hallmark and are hand numbered on the Certfiicate of Authenticity. This doll is amazingly special because she has been Hand Numbered # 1. Charisma Brands recently announced that Marie Osmond would be celebrating her 19th Anniversary of Marie Osmond Dolls with 2 doll shows on QVC on August 16th, 2010. (One show is on August 15th if you live in the Pacific Standard Time Zone.)

There will be two hours of dolls shows with a one hour jewelry show immediately following Marie's last doll show.

Show 1 is on Sunday, August 15th, 2010 from 10 - 11 p.m. PST or Monday, August 16th from midnight - 1 a.m. CST or 1 - 2 a.m. EST.

Show 2 is on Monday, August 16th, 2010 from 10 - 11 a.m. PST, 12 noon - 1 p.m. CST or 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. EST.

A few days ago, we added the following dolls to the Count Your Beans website for pre-order. We also thought our doll friends might appreciate a single blog post where they can see all new releases at one time.

All the dolls except the Adora Belle Devine / Divine Daisies (December Retail Exclusive) are August Release dolls and are expected to arrive at Charisma's warehouse in Maryland and ship to retailers in mid to late August 2010.

I have great news! We recently listed 14 new Marie Osmond August dolls and 1 new Marie Osmond December doll on the www.CountYourBeans.com website for pre-order.

I was hoping to come back and edit this blog post on Saturday evening to add the pictures and descriptions here too so you can have an easy all in one reference but this weekend we had some family stuff to attend to so it probably won't be until late Monday after we have a chance to do shipping and catch up on weekend emails. Description: In 1958, Walt Disney recognized the need to have special tours conducted at Disneyland for dignitaries and celebrities visiting the park, so he created the position of Disneyland Tour Guide. The Marie Osmond Adora Belle Disneyland Tour Guide doll replicates the official Disneyland hostess costume which debuted in 1961 and has remained the official costume ever since. Walt wanted the Tour Guides to be easily recognizable, yet dignified, so the Disneyland Costume Department chose a combination of a beautiful Scottish plaid and enhanced it with elegant equestrian touches.

Arabella - Catching Butterflies is a lovely fairy doll and very hard to find! With only 100 dolls produced in this edition and all sold as a 2007 IDEX Doll & Bear show exclusive, very few collectors were able to add this beauty to their collection in this original large size. She was also collectible in this year because Marie Osmond's Doll Theme of 2007 was Becoming Butterflies. Here is your chance at the Artist Proof 1 doll!

Arabella Catching Butterflies is pretty in pink and adorned with dainty butterflies. She is costumed in subtle shades of pink and blue. Her outfit features several layers of pink netting, giving her lots of "poof" and is also adorned with delicate pink and blue butterflies. She comes with a butterfly net in hopes of briefly capturing a wined friend before releasing it back into flight.

Karen Scott sculpted this beauty with unique butterfly painting applied directly to the porcelain.

As this doll is a Production Sample, there is no Certificate of Authenticity or hang tag with this doll. The doll has the facsimile Marie Osmond signature on the back of her neck but because she is a sample doll, she is not hand-numbered.

The box is a pink generic tiny tot size box. There is a sticker on top that indicates it is a Sample Doll from the manufacturer. Someone also wrote "Baby Abby TT" upside down in pen on one side of the box. As it is a FPS (First Production Sample) doll, we can tell the doll has been removed from the box before from the way it came to us packaged, however it has been taken care of and the doll itself is in mint shape.

Marie Osmond makes no excuses for being absolute in love with her youngest daughter, Abigail and as such, she couldn't help making the original Baby Abby into a cute-as-they-come tiny tot dressed in black and pink. Marie sculpted Baby Abby Tiny Tot herself and as with almost all Marie Osmond doll sculpts, she comes with a Marie "beauty mark" next to the doll's left eye.

When Marie Osmond creates a doll after one of her own children, she pays particular attention to the details! Here is Baby Brianna Toddler who is sculpted, themed and named after Marie's sixth child. Brianna is all girl, frilly and feminine and as Marie puts it, is the "princess" in the family!

Looking lovely in lavender, she wears a white and lavender floral print dress with lavender floral accents on her shoes, in her hair and all throughout her dress.

Includes: Doll, Bear, Annette Funicello pin in bear's left ear, pillow, Certificate of Authenticity, Doll Bracelet, Hang Tag. Box has a little creasing but is otherwise in pretty good shape.

This collaboration is amazingly cute and brings together two amazing women, Marie Osmond and Annette Funicello to create one of the most popular Doll & Bear sets in the Quite A Pair Series.

Sometimes the best cure of what ails you is Bear Hugs & Kissy! This vignette is full of personal touches as Kissy was sculpted and created by Marie and Bear Hugs, and Annette Funicello Bear, bares the imprint of Annette's lips on her hair ribbon and pillow.

Includes: Doll, Fabric covered Doll Stand, Headdress with ribbons and ribbon rosettes, faux pearl necklace. This is a First Production Sample / Prototype doll and comes in a non-descript brown box with a sticker on one end saying, "CATHERINE ELIZABETH 8/09". Because this is an FPS doll, there is no COA.

Marie is excited to present Catherine Elizabeth, a classic and timeless reproduction by Mary Benner costumed in a dress inspired by traditional period clothing from a by-gone era. Mary's original prototype doll was created and inspired after her granddaughter, Sarah Abigail and the mold she used to create this beauty was named Abigail.

With First Production Sample dolls, there are occasionally differences between initial production, Artist Proof production and final production. The way the doll came to us from Charisma was very wrapped up so it is hard to tell if there are subtle changes but our initial impression is that the dolls seem very much the same in costume. The three rosettes in the back of the doll's headpiece are all the same shade of brown. This may or may not be a slight change as some pictures we've seen from the back look a little like there are slight variation in rosette colors, such as there are in the front and side of the headpiece. As we don't have a final production doll in front of us, we can't make a final conclusion.

Please note that this doll is wax over porcelain and comes with a cloth covering the doll's face. In the pictures we've seen of the final production doll, the doll's face appears to have a little more of a waxy / shiny sheen to it than the FPS doll. I believe that some dolls may have been buffed a little differently than others. She is truly a high quality gorgeous doll and as an FPS doll, it is truly OOAK. Mary Benner does amazing work.

It was love at first sight when Marie Osmond saw this irresistible Asian baby boy doll from sculptor, Ping Lau. “I just want to munch his cheeks!” exclaimed Marie. Shao Pang is dressed in an authentic red oriental print satin with gold trim and faux fur-lined cape. His hat and cape are both separate pieces and can be removed. "Shao Pang” means “little chub” and he definitely is that!

I wish we had a better picture because this doll is so much cuter in person than the stock photo shows. When this doll first came out in 2002, he was extremely popular and introduced Marie Osmond doll collectors to Ping Lau as a new sculptor for her doll brand. In a memorable vignette of one of a young girl's fondest pastimes, Marie Osmond presents Tea For Two from her Collectibles series. Tea For Two depicts a tea party between a girl and her cloth dolly. Each is dressed for the special occasion in matching pastel blue dresses with pink and white lace trimmings, long curly locks of hair and a white porcelain tea set with floral accents. Tea for one was never as fun as Tea For Two!

Interestingly enough, the original Tea For Two by Kathy Smith Fitzpatrick measured at about 28 1/2" (I'm thinking that is head to toe but not positive) and retailed at $1100. This is an Artist Proof doll and although the box does have an official Charisma sticker on one end labeling the doll "Timeless", I'm thinking this may not have originally been the initial box since there is a pink sticker (from Charisma) covering over what looks like another name on the opposite end of the box. The doll of course is mint and in fine shape but for box people, we wanted to disclose what we noticed.

For example, if Charisma is showing an AP or FPS doll to Lenox or Disney, they are showing the doll itself but the accessories from their partner (i.e. Lenox ornaments, Disney pins / lanyards) may or may not come until final production. So although items may not be included in the AP / FPS boxes, they're not intentionally missing and you are receiving a true AP or FPS rare doll that came to us directly from Charisma Brands.

Hi Count Your Beans Friends!

This past week John was off for most of the time at Boy Scout Camp in Oregon with Justin and I held up the fort here at home taking Ryan to Camp Kiddo!

What a fun name for a camp!!

Justin is in the second row, standing on the far right. I'm relieved he wasn't the one buried!

I don't have too much to report at this point. We're still awaiting word about the arrival of a few of Marie's June dolls such as I Scream, You Scream, Adora Belle Lottie Love and Adora Belle Lively Lucy. John will be checking in with Charisma on Tuesday to see if the dolls are on their way. We didn't see them invoiced yet so I'm thinking they may not have yet arrived in Maryland.

We did receive Cupcakes and Confetti Keepsake and Red, White, Blue Carnivals and Fun Keepsake about a week ago. Everyone who pre-ordered was contacted and we do have spares if you are looking to add either cutie to your collection.

John and I had initially planned to start our next Silent Auction over this 4th of July weekend but we have tentatively put it on hold since our schedules have been a bit off and we have some catching up to do. We do plan are starting one within the next 7 days and should have 20 more dolls available for you to check out!

CYB News Update: Marie Osmond Doll Show on QVC should be August 16th

Hello Everyone!

Peggy Vicioso from Charisma Brands posted on Twitter today that Marie Osmond will be doing her next show on QVC on Monday, August 16th. No times yet have been released but it's nice to know we can mark our calendars for the date!

In the past few years, Marie's August anniversary show has been near the end of the month, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear that it would be happening more toward the middle. What that also means is that Charisma Brands should release official photos and descriptions of the August show dolls to Count Your Beans and other authorized dealers around Friday, July 16th. As soon as we get the pictures and photos, we will work hard to get them up on our website for pre-orders.

John and I had the opportunity to participate in a second webinar the other day where Tracy at Charisma talked about revisions and updates to the August 2010 show dolls. It was asked that retailers not share the specifics of the proprietary information with collectors until a month before the show but I think there are a few general tidbits we can share without giving away their secrets!

1) There will be an amazing Halloween doll coming. Early in the year, Charisma ran a survey at the Marie Doll Friends Forum to see what doll that the largest number of doll friends might be interested in seeing redressed for Halloween. Charisma made their decision and when we saw the final photo, both John and I agreed this doll was WICKEDLY cute!

2) Speaking of Halloween, there are a couple of Retail Exclusive Launch Adora Belle Mop Top dolls slated for the late August timeframe. One is Halloween themed and one could fit in at the time of the year and the other could certainly be displayed at that time of the year too. Since they're RE launches not being shown on QVC in August and may very well end up being Retail Exclusives, we're hoping to get pictures and descriptions in advance so you can see just how whimsically amazing they are!

3) We noticed that the coloring on the dresses of a few of the new dolls are colors not recently found in Marie's line but are colors we think will be very appealing to many.

4) There will be two dolls as part of a new series launch. SHHHHH.... can't give the secret away...

5) A DOTY Award Winning Artist who is new to Marie Osmond Dolls & Charisma Brands has created a special sculpt for Marie's August line-up.

6) Edition Sizes on most dolls will range from 250 - 900 dolls worldwide with about 1/2 LE 500 or less.

We hope this little tease helps entice you to see what great things are coming up for Marie's 19th Anniversary of Dolls!! I'm sure Charisma is already planning many amazing surprises for the big 20 in 2011!

Our second silent auction includes 20 very hard to find New Marie Osmond Dolls that have either LOW Certificate of Authenticity (COA) #s, are Artist Proof (AP) dolls, Prototype Dolls or First Production Samples (FPS). Add some rarity to your collection!

We included a variety of Tiny Tots, Toddlers, Adora Belles, Fairies and Special Exclusives for our second round of offerings hoping to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and spark up some fun, excitement and interest!

I have listed the 20 dolls below and will be adding pictures and descriptions gradually as I have time over the next 24 hours. (Our kiddos just got out of elementary school and preschool respectively and it's a little noisier around here than normal! I think I'll be burning the midnight oil!)

Please make sure to read the rules before bidding as AP and FPS dolls are often different than final production dolls as part of their uniqueness and may not have all accessories, COAs or regular boxes. For example, if Charisma is showing an AP or FPS doll to Lenox or Disney, they are showing the doll itself but the accessories from their partner (i.e. Lenox ornaments, Disney pins / lanyards) may or may not come until final production. So although items may not be included in the AP / FPS boxes, they're not intentionally missing and you are receiving a true AP or FPS rare doll that came to us directly from Charisma Brands.

We want you to be fully aware of what you are bidding on so that you are completely pleased if you are the lucky winning bidder!

Except where noted, the Dolls have not been removed from their boxes by Count Your Beans so there may be some slight variations we did not notice.

AP = Artist Proof - produced before final production, do have COA's, may not have all final production accessories

COA / COA # = Certificate of Authenticity Number. This might be a number like 5 or 6 or it might be noted as AP 2 for Artist Proof #2. Originally when Marie's dolls were produced through Knickerbocker, Marian LLC and Charisma Brands, LLC, the first 6 dolls in the edition were set aside for Marie, the doll artist and the Charisma Brands vault. When you see a #5 or #6 doll, especially with older dolls, it is rare and a special treat because it was never before made available to the public.

FPS = First Production Sample or Prototype - produced before AP dolls, almost always have no COA's or hang tags, may not have all final production accessories.

OOAK = One Of A Kind - No other like it in existence.

MSRP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (may be a range as Charisma and QVC sometimes vary in their intrepretation of MSRP)

In 1997, Marie Osmond introduced Adora Belle, a wide-eyed character doll she personally sculpted. In 2004 she introduced an even younger Belle, Adora Belle Baby. As Marie says "She's too cute!" Dressed in a variation-on-a-theme of the original Belle, Adora Belle Baby wears a baby pink satin poofy dress with white lace overlay, and lovingly holds her Annette Funicello white plush baby teddy bear.

The box the prototype doll is in is does not say Baby Adora Belle although Baby Adora Belle is labeled on the sticker. In fact, if you look at the photo above, you can see that Marian, LLC (Charisma's previous name), used a Disney Mary Poppins box for the doll. The condition of the box is fairly decent. Regarding collectibility, I think the important thing about the box in this case are the labels that were put on by the manufacturer indicating it was a prototype sample / 1 of a Kind.

If you see the top sticker, it says, "Dress with the fabric reversed. 1 of A Kind". Naturally John and I were curious what this meant so we looked inside at the doll. To us, the fabric pattern of the dress looks very close to final picture above but the color of the dress looks a little more mauve than pink. We're not sure what "fabric reversed" meant because it doesn't look like any fabric is inside out or patterns are reversed but of course we trust their labeling! Perhaps it is a slightly different fabric / dress than the final production doll. We don't have the original to compare to so it's hard to say. There is no numbering on the back of the doll's neck. There is a blue COA envelope but inside, instead of a COA, there is what looks like it would be the paper for a COA but it has "PROTOTYPE" stamped on it instead. There is also a "PROTOTYPE" hangtag.

Because this doll offering and its box is so unique out of the group of AP, FPS, Prototype and LOW COA # dolls we received, we really believe it's a treasure and wanted to make sure to be able to offer it to you here first in the Count Your Beans Silent Auction! GOOD LUCK!

The first Disney Store opened in Glendale, California, March 28, 1987. Since then, the stores have changed, but one thing has remained the same, the wonderful spirit of Disney's Cast Members. This collectible boy vinyl doll wears the classic Disney Store Cast Member denim shirt and arrives complete with his own pin trading lanyard with replicas of actual Cast Member pins along with two collectible pins. Many generations have grown to love Walt Disney's beloved fairy tale, Cinderella. Marie Osmond is pleased to present Baby Cinderella Tiny Tot from her "Disney Babies" collection, the miniature version of her interpretation of how Cinderella might have appeared as a toddler.

Baby Cinderella Tiny Tot is a collectible doll with original head, hands and feet by sculptor, Sonja Bryer, and costuming by Karen Seamons. She is approximately 5 1/2" - 6" seated and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Count Your Beans Notes: What is really fun about looking through the First Production Sample (FPS) dolls that we received from Charisma is that you never know what you're going to get. Although we never saw what Baby Cinderella Tiny Tot looked like in final production in person, we have seen pictures of her at the following link: http://www.mariedolls.net/doll/cinderellatot.htm and have noticed some differences in the FPS doll and the final production dolls.

The first and most noticeable difference is that the FPS Baby Cinderella Tiny Tot has "glass" slippers They're not real glass but they're clear. See below. She also comes with a hand-mirror accessory which was not in final production either.

Marie Osmond combined three things she loves, smiling, Paris and dolls, to create a delightful doll with a light-hearted interpretation. Sculptor: Karen Scott, Doll Series: Fairy Rose Bud, Approximate Height: 7" seated, 10" head to toe, Material: Porcelain, Hair Color: Blonde, Eye Color: Periwinkle Blue, Edition Size / Number: Open edition although only one run of this doll was produced and she is now retired. This is an FPS doll and is not numbered on the back of her neck.

This came to us from Charisma as an FPS / First Production Sample doll. It is in a pink Marie Osmond box (tiny tot size) with the name "Jacqueneta" in cursive on the side. There is no COA or doll bracelet. The doll is hallmarked on the back of her neck with a copyright 2008 but there is no hand numbering. (Final production dolls would have been hand-numbered.)

Jacqueneta was the second doll produced in Marie Osmond's Fairy Rose Bud collection of dolls. Inspired by the delicate Jacqueneta rose, Jacqueneta features a pinky peach-colored dress with layers of petals, accented by multi-toned greenery ribbon and organza rosettes and dainty rose-bud painting on her face and limbs.

She has blonde curly hair and hand-painted eyes. The color looks like a periwinkle blue (blue with hints of purple). There is also floral hand painting on the doll's face, arms and legs.

Created in the beautiful fashion of the Civil War time period, Mary is a classically timeless doll from Marie Osmond's Somewhere in Time collection. She was named after Mary Todd Lincoln.

Her dress is crafted in an antique style dark red taffeta and velvet with cream lace trim. Mary holds a "handkerchief" doll, which originated during the Civil War when there was little money, so women made dolls for the children out of handkerchiefs, particularly those of their fathers who had gone off to war, which helped ease the pain of separation. These were also known as "church dolls", which provided a quiet toy for a child's amusement during the church service because they made no noise if dropped.

This doll is so very pretty and substantial! We had never seen her before in person so we were thrilled to get this AP2 treasure. She is a QVC Exclusive from 2005 that had an edition size of 300 and sold out very quickly on air. Back in 2005, Marie Osmond dolls in limited editions at just 300 were rare. We haven't seen her on the secondary market but would suspect she'd hold her value.

Lovely in lavender! Pretty in purple! Marie Osmond is pleased to present a beautiful new 24" standing porcelain doll that will add a breath of spring to your home all year long. Sasha Springtime wears a lavender organza gown highlighted with lavender and sage-green embroidery with silk floral accents adorning her cascading brown curls. She has lavender bloomers and multiple layers of skirting. Sasha Springtime is a very limited edition doll and sure to become a conversation piece in your home.

The original Sasha doll by Rachel Scott came out in 2006 and was limited to 500 dolls. It was her first sculpt with Charisma Brands and was received very well, selling out quickly. The original doll was dressed in pink and was also 24" standing. Charisma Brands later produced a 14" seated version of Rachel's Sasha face sculpt called Sasha 2007.

Sasha Springtime is a very beautiful doll with a lovely dress that has been hard to find since her debut and she has done an excellent job holding its value. We've seen her sell on the secondary market at ebay for well over $300 but we wanted to give this Artist Proof doll a chance to go to one of our blog visitors first starting at original retail! She is wrapped very well within her box so we can't tell if there are any differences in final production but we could see her dress and face and can understand why she was so popular!

If you're a box person, I'd call this "okay" but not fair. That being said, the doll is very well protected inside the box. There is foam all around the edges, cardboard, foam and bubble wrap protection. A sticker indicating #6 is on the end of the box with the doll's name.

Tabitha from Marie Osmond’s Collectibles series is indeed a unique doll in every way. She is dressed in a nature fairy motif with earthy green, airy netting and colorful floral trims. The color green on her dress appears a couple shades darker than it looks in Charisma's final production stock photo. The green in her eyes appears a little darker than in the photo too.

Tabitha is visually stunning and whimiscal. Being the first faery from Karen Scott to debut with this kind of costuming, she also stood out as a favorite with collectors because of the floral hand-painting on her porcelain. Marie called her a collectible must-have because she marked the first of her kind within Marie’s line.

We are excited to say that we have just opened the Count Your Beans Vault for the SECOND TIME!

Count Your Beans FIRST ever Silent Auction ended on Saturday, June 12th and was so much fun, many people requested we run another one soon! We realize the first one ended kind of late for our East Coast doll friends, so this auction will be ending at 9:00 p.m. PST or midnight EST.

You asked, we listened! Our 2nd Silent Auction starts at 1:15 a.m. PST Tuesday, June 15th and ends at 9:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, June 22nd.

Yes, Tuesday starts our SECOND Silent Auction! John and I had a lot of fun with the first one and hope this second round will be exciting as well! As we said in our FIRST SILENT AUCTION, we have so many great dolls to present to you throughout the summer and we hope you enjoy these fun promotions since you, our blog visitors get the first peek and opportunity to purchase!!

We asked for your Feedback recently on our first auction and we appreciate those who responded. It's not too late to give us your comments. If you'd like to write to us in general, that's great. We also had four questions in a previous blog posting from Friday, June 11th. Feel free to check that out!

The general consensus was that 20 Doll Listings was a reasonable amount. We realize that the Silent Auction format here on the blog is not for everyone and we totally respect that. We had a couple comments from eBay customers saying that they really prefer knowing what the bids are at all times, especially in the last few minutes of the auction where they don't want to risk being outbid. We totally get that and will try to keep bids updated as often as possible. Last time, we decided to not post an update on the blog within the last 12 hours but after feedback, we're thinking this time, we will post an update on our blog 1 hour before auction close (8:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 22nd) and then let the final hour be for anyone wanting to get in a last minute bid. What do you think? Do you like this better?

We definitely will be running eBay auctions so if you feel more secure or comfortable with that format, we totally do get it and want to make sure you're catered to as well. If there are any of you out there who aren't that familiar with us and are a little nervous about placing a bid in Silent Auction but might want to give it a try, we invite you to check out our eBay Feedback over the past 11 years. We are getting pretty close to our 21,000th overall feedback and want you to feel confident with who you are working with.

Much of the reason we are doing the Silent Auctions here is to give a chance for our doll collecting friends to have the chance to get a peek and chance at some special Artist Proof, First Production Sample and Low COA # dolls before opening it up to the public at eBay.

We are listing 20 very hard to find New Marie Osmond Dolls that have either LOW Certificate of Authenticity (COA) #s, are Artist Proof (AP) dolls or are First Production Samples (FPS). Add some rarity to your collection!

We included a variety of Tiny Tots, Toddlers, Adora Belles, Fairies and Special Exclusives for our second round of offerings hoping to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and spark up some fun, excitement and interest!

I will list all 20 dolls briefly below so you can get a quick idea of what is on the list and then I will post descriptions and pictures later in a second blog. (We have our oldest son's last day of school on Tuesday, June 15th but we hope to get up the pictures and descriptions by the end of Tuesday or middle of Wednesday. I underestimated last time how long it would take and with two little ones that will now be at home for the summer, I'm suspecting I may need to add a little time to my estimate!)

Please make sure to read the rules before bidding as AP and FPS dolls are often different than final production dolls as part of their uniqueness and may not have all accessories, COAs or regular boxes. For example, if Charisma is showing an AP or FPS doll to Lenox or Disney, they are showing the doll itself but the accessories from their partner (i.e. Lenox ornaments, Disney pins / lanyards) may or may not come until final production. So although items may not be included in the AP / FPS boxes, they're not intentionally missing and you are receiving a true AP or FPS rare doll that came to us directly from Charisma Brands.

What is special about these dolls is that they are ALL either Artist Proof (AP), First Production Sample (FPS) or LOW Certificate of Authenticity (COA) dolls (generally #5 or #6 which are not normally made available to the collecting public because they are usually stored in the Charisma Brands vault!)

We are excited to say that we just opened the Count Your Beans Vault!

Today starts our FIRST Silent Auction! John and I are really excited and hope you are too! We have so many great dolls to present to you throughout the summer and we hope you enjoy these fun promotions since you, our blog visitors get the first peek and opportunity to purchase!!

As we've never done this before and want to make sure our blog post isn't super long, we thought we would start our first Silent Auction with 20 Doll Listings. After we get the hang of this and see how long administration time takes, we may make adjustments to that number for the next round of offerings.

We are listing 20 very hard to find New Marie Osmond Dolls that have either LOW Certificate of Authenticity (COA) #s, are Artist Proof (AP) dolls or are First Production Samples (FPS). Add some rarity to your collection!

We included a variety of Tiny Tots, Toddlers, Adora Belles, Classics, Fairies and special exclusives (Lenox, Disney, QVC, IDEX , Toy Fair, Star Retailer) for our first round of offerings hoping to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and spark up some fun, excitement and interest!

I will list all 20 dolls briefly below so you can get a quick idea of what is on the list and then I will post descriptions and pictures later (within the next 36 hours, by approximately midnight on Sunday, June 6th.)

Please make sure to read the rules before bidding as AP and FPS dolls are often different than final production dolls as part of their uniqueness and may not have all accessories, COAs or regular boxes. For example, if Charisma is showing an AP or FPS doll to Lenox or Disney, they are showing the doll itself but the accessories from their partner (i.e. Lenox ornaments, Disney pins / lanyards) would not come until final production. So although items may not be included in the AP / FPS boxes, they're not intentionally missing and you are receiving a true AP or FPS rare doll that came to us directly from Charisma Brands.

We want you to be fully aware of what you are bidding on so that you are completely pleased if you are the lucky winning bidder!

This doll is an Artist Proof #1 of a hand-numbered open edition series. She is sculpted by Jo Ann Pohlman is the miniaturized version of Jo Ann's popular Toddler doll version.

Costumed in a rainbow of pastel colored netting in a light and airy poofy dress that appears to be light as a cloud, Arabella Rainbow features delicate body art on her face, arms and legs in the form of, what else... a rainbow!

Wow, this is one treasure from the Count Your Beans vault that we're totally excited to share with our collecting doll friends. Arabella Rainbow Fairy sometimes seen promoted as Arabella Rainbow Butterfly Fairy initially only had a limited edition size of 100 pieces. Those 100 were available at a special IDEX Doll & Bear Show event in Florida in 2008 and were only available to attendees paying full retail price. Although some retailers attending (we weren't able to get there) did get a couple, they had to pay full retail price as well. As such, this is a doll that when found (rare) has held onto her value.

We're so jazzed to be able to offer the First Production Sample because we know there were lots of collectors out there who wanted the original but were unable to get her.

She is a very big doll and came to us from Charisma in her pink box with ribbon within a separate stand-alone white shipping box.

Ladies & gents, if you like Bru & blue, this 23" statuesque beauty may be for you! She was originally presented to Retailers at Toy Fair in New York in 2005 as an exclusive in 2005 and very few people were able to get her although many many tried. She is limited to an edition size of 150 and until just recently, Charisma had never allowed the #6 doll out of their vault. Oh wow, did we luck out on getting this one from the Charisma vault for our collecting friends! This is a First Production Sample of a very special and detailed wedding bride doll that was a QVC Exclusive limited to just 100 dolls worldwide.

Sculptor: Monica Reo, Approximate Height: About 28" standing (big doll!!), Limited Edition Series Size: 100 (FPS / 100), Hair Color: Dark Brown, Eye Color: Brown (hand-painted), Articulated

Nicole Modern Bride is all dressed in white. She is elegantly and realistically dressed to impress in her wedding day best, ready to walk down the aisle for a day to remembered forever! Nicole Modern Bride is an amazing way to commemorate a special wedding or anniversary! She has lovely dark curly brown hair which can be styled up or down, and brown hand-painted eyes, something that sculptor, Monica Reo prides herself on with so many of her dolls.

Nicole's white satin and tulle gown is accentuated with beaded detailing. Her sheer hose, tiny garter, and veil finish her look and will have you saying, "here comes the bride"!!!

She sold out very quickly on air at QVC and received excellent reviews. One reviewer said, "This doll is truly an exquisite work of art. The gown is as finely sewn and beaded as a gown any Bride would purchase for her wedding. The face is as beautiful as anyone would want and the quality of the the painting is deserving of an award. Right down to the shoes, Marie has shown her pride and care for this doll by caring for every detail. This is a gift any lover of dolls should purchase for themselves!"

Remember, the winning bidder will be getting a First Production Sample doll. As such, there is no Certificate of Authenticity. She came to us from Charisma in a non-Charisma brown box. 6/09 FPS was written on the box. (I'm thinking 6/09 was the date since she was presented on air in summer 2009.) Interestingly enough, it was a Masterpice Dolls box completely reversed (inside out). I'm thinking because she is so big, they needed to find a box that would fit her. We measured her at about 28 - 29" although when presented on air, Marie said she was about 26". It is very possible that there might be some slight differences in the FPS doll from the final doll. As we have never seen the original doll in person, we don't have a comparison but wow, is she stunning.

In 1997, Marie Osmond introduced "Baby Marie Paper Roses", a collectible vinyl doll created in likeness of Marie and named after Marie's first music single. With the hit song, Paper Roses, Marie made country music history by becoming the first female to have a #1 record with her debut single. Marie was only thirteen at the time!

In 2002, Marie came out with Paper Roses Tiny Tot from her Tiny Tots collection, however this time she did something unique. Although the toddler version was in vinyl, the tiny tot version was a miniaturized porcelain replica of the vinyl original. She was always a popular tot and would be perfect for one of Marie Osmond's Twitter Tots! Beverly Stoehr sculpted the tot of Marie and you can tell it's a sculpt of her by the beauty mark next to her left eye.

We were very lucky to get the #6 numbered doll as during the time she was produced, Charisma always kept the #1 - 6 dolls.

Marie Osmond is most pleased to present a visually stunning, exclusive doll that was only for sale by her 11 Top Star Retailers in 2004. Her name is Starry, Starry Night and she is from the Collectibles series. Dressed in a vibrant blue-turquoise gown adorned with a pattern of glitter stars, she has blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. Starry Starry Night is truly captivating and is reminiscent of a crystal clear evening when twinkling stars dot the sky.

I'll tell you a secret here. John and I almost kept this doll for ourselves because it had sentimental meaning but since we do have one (not an AP) for our own collection and we've had her many years, we thought we'd keep that one instead.

As such, we wanted to make sure that our very best Marie Osmond doll collecting friends had a chance for her in silent auction!

The reason she had a special meaning is because John and I were invited to Disneyland in late July of 2004 by Marie Osmond, Brian Blosil and Marian, LLC (now Charisma Brands) for their Top Star Retailer Awards and the debut of Starry Starry Night, a special exclusive doll only made available to the 11 retailers in attendance. It was the first Star Retailer Event like this and it was amazingly fun!

John and I were so excited. Not only was it the first time we met Marie, it was also the first time we got away for an adults only overnight since our oldest son, Justin (then 4 1/2, now 10 1/2) was born. We got lucky again! Although the original Tea For Two doll vignette was a Retail Exclusive, the Tiny Tot version was a QVC Exclusive. As such, until just recently, Count Your Beans was never able to get one of these dolls to offer collectors because she sold out at QVC and became very hard to find. As Charisma's general policy has been to keep the #1 - #6 of each doll edition, this is the first time the #5 doll has been available to Marie Osmond doll collecting friends!

Tiny Tots in Marie Osmond's collection are usually open edition but this doll vignette as a tot was quite special and limited to just 500 pieces worldwide.

Tea for Two Tiny Tot by Marie Osmond, reflects one of childhood's fond memories of playing dolls and pretending we were on a picnic with our tiny tea-sets. Tea for Two Tiny Tot features a limited edition doll; her look-alike cloth dolly; and a miniaturized tea cup and saucer. Let the memories begin!
