In this TSS Session, Craig BBC Long, Arturo, and Gerardo attended the Cinema Arts Society Houston Film Festival where TSS lounged and caught up with many national filmmakers and actors. Well as the guys hung out they had a chance to hang with Mr. Boondocks Saints himself, Sean Patrick Flanery, which arrived in Houston to promote his then current film, All Saints Day.

Mr. SPF exposed the truths on what rumors held back All Saints Day, his thoughts on progressive films and films he is interested in catching.

In this TSS Rewind Session the team visits with Dave Biondi as he interviews David Chavez of the Tejano Music National Convention. Arturo J Parra was invited to the B Net Studios, only to be reminded he has a latino name. The guys hung out while TSS recorded behind the Scenes. The Nachos, Beverages, and Tejano music was flowing like a majestic waterfall.

In this TSS Rewind Session, Arturo was invited to Bnetradio.com and hang out with the Monday evening shift of JSmooth Lopez and Big Bad Thad. Even Big Bad Thad generated a great interview with BNet Radio owner Dave Biondi. Dave Biondi created the first ever Online Tejano Radio Broadcast.

Keep your eyes out for this years H-Town Sneakers Summit! Its going on its llth show and its home is to be the same hosts for the Houston Rockets, The Toyota Center!

The H-Town Sneaker Summit was founded in December of 2003. It is a Bi-Annual Event held in Houston, TX each Summer and Winter, where sneaker enthusiasts from all walks of life gather to buy, sell, trade, display, browse, and discuss rare and fashionable sneakers and clothing in a large party atmosphere. Our past few events have each held about two thousand people including special guests; DJ Clark Kent, Bobbito Garcia, Levi Maestro, Dante Ross, Nick Diamond, D’Wayne Edwards, and of course the legendary ambassador of the South, Bun B of UGK.

Along with such great music, the have a large group of travelers from all over Texas; Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and even Louisiana and beyond to loyally attend each event. As the sneaker, apparel, and accessories market matures, we continue to see a bigger crowd with every event, and we constantly strive to make each event better than the last.

Their main goal is to build up all aspects of the Sneaker Community while giving back to it.

Dj Qbert in Houston Texas!

It’s another Friday night in Houston TX and another Luna Face Productions event has implanted itself into the Houston Heights District. Fitzgeralds!, home of cool music, sights of women in short skirt mini’s jumping out of taxi cabs, and hip hop enthusiast who roam the sidewalks as side street parking slowly diminishes. The temperature in my car read 99 degrees outside but I knew the heat was about to get hotter since Luna Face Productions teamed up with the guys at SuckerPunch to bring back an Htown urban legend.

All this Scratching is making me itch!

There is a tale from waaaaaaay back-Htown-when a venue named The Wax Museum, now known as the permanent address for the Rockets, was known for its keen Hip Hop gatherings. This Shangri-La has since dispersed along with it's energies and good vibes making great stories of hip hop history.
Still considered to some as the meca of all hip hop, "Tha Wax" was Houston's central hub for hip hop music as influential resident dj's courted the venue during its weekend nightls. This lead many influential hip hop musicians in wanting to participate.
One such historic performer was a young composer by the name of Dj Qbert. The day’s of The Wax are over but Dj Qbert continues as he tours cities and countries spreading teachings of Turntablism and composing. I had the honor of standing next to one of the most influential and electrifying Dj-composers in history. It was all thanks to LunaFace Productions and SuckerPunch.
