Co-writing every song on the album, that personal touch comes through across each track as he tells his story through his art of music. Listeners will be treated to a blend of modern & traditional country influences, giving the collection a timeless feel as King carves out a sound that is distinctly his own. The sense of rawness and relatability can be felt, especially as the artist pulls from his own experiences, thoughts and feelings, which can at times be a vulnerable act, but is also what makes music so powerful when an artist is willing to open up and let listeners in. That is exactly what Zach John King did throughout I’m What You Get.

The album features King’s hit single “Get To Drinkin’,” a track that has already proven the artist on the rise brings plenty of energy with the catchy track that fans have been gravitating to. Now that the album is available, fans will have even more to enjoy. A few of CMR’s favorite tracks include, “I’m What You Get,” “Shoulda Woulda Coulda,” “Mama’s Prayin’,” and “What I’m Giving Up.” And that’s only naming a few, we could definitely keep going!

Zach also includes some strong collaborations on his debut album, including Brooks & Dunn on “Way to Go” and Brent Cobb on “Choppin Wood.” He also teams up with Bayker Blankenship for “Life Behind Bars.” The mix of collaborations adds even more depth and personality to an already well-balanced project, with Zach John King’s own sound remaining at the heart of it all.

There’s plenty of variety throughout the project, and it all comes together to showcase an artist who has a clear vision for his music and is ready to make his mark. The sequencing also should not go unnoticed. From starting things out with “I’m What You Get,” to closing out the album with “What I’m Giving Up,” King did a terrific job bringing the entire collection together for a solid debut album.

I’m What You Get is available now at zjk.lnk.to/imwhatyouget.

Cole Swindell has announced a brand new partnership that he has become involved with. The multi-platinum country star has teamed up with Southern Spring Water brand Free Bird as both a brand ambassador and investor.

The Georgia native was drawn to the brand for its values and its connection to his homestate. Free Bird is starting to soar as it is now available in over 2,500 retail locations and continues to grow.

“I’m so excited to share that I have invested in and will be partnering up with Free Bird Southern Spring Water, a company I have really admired for a while now,” shares Swindell. “Its values and the people behind it drew me in from the beginning and helped me believe in this product. I’m so excited about the opportunity to work with the incredible team over there, we’ve got so many cool things coming for you guys.”

“Cole represents so much of what Free Bird is about – staying true to where you come from, bringing people together, and enjoying the ride,” shares Free Bird founder Jay Williams. “Having him believe in what we’re building means a lot, and we’re fired up to have him on the team.”

In addition to the exciting new partnership with Free Bird, Swindell released new song “Bronco.” The new track serves as a deeply personal one, inspired by his late father’s old truck and the memories it holds for his family. Meanwhile, his current single “Girl Dad” continues climbing the Country radio charts and closing in on the Top 40.

Keep up with all things Cole at coleswindell.com.

When you are able to check “Make Opry Debut” off your bucket list, you know you are doing something right. For artists on the rise Sons of Habit, they were able to check off that major milestone last week.

The rising five-piece band from Owensboro, Kentucky, featuring Mitchell Douglas, Hagan Edge, Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish and Noah Patrick, made their Grand Ole Opry debut on August 14. The five longtime friends stepped into the iconic Opry circle for an emotional three-song set that concluded with a standing ovation from the audience.

“You dream your whole life for something like this. Ever since I can remember I’ve dreamt of every little detail about this place and this moment,” shared Sons of Habit’s Mitchell Douglas from inside the circle.

Photo Credit: ©Grand Ole Opry, photos by Chris Hollo

Opening their Opry performance with “5:21,” the significance of the moment quickly set in as the band shed some tears while taking it all in. Sons of Habit followed with “Nostalgia” before closing with “Madeline,” the first song the band ever wrote and released, which ultimately went on to become their breakout hit.

“There’s a presence up here from the legends that you can’t even imagine,” said Sons of Habit. “For all the artists who have played this stage, thank you for keeping it world renowned.”

Friends and family were in the audience to witness the band’s career milestone, including the owner of the trailer in Habit, Kentucky, where Sons of Habit first came together to make music.

There’s something special about these five friends, and it is going to be an exciting journey getting to know them as they embark on this next chapter of their career.

Make sure to claim yours before they run out!”

“New album! New tour! New clothing line! The entire Schaefer Outfitter team is so thankful that we were able to be part of Ian’s journey,” adds Jason Smith, CEO of Schaefer Outfitter. “From the very beginning, we could not believe how much Ian’s commitment to quality, creativity, and giving back to the community of fans directly aligned with Schaefer Outfitter’s core values.
Get ready for more Luke Combs! The country superstar is set to bring his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour into 2027 with a massive stadium lineup. The in-the-round experience will feature Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin. The tour will hit stadiums across the U.S., including Arlington, Detroit, Foxborough, Denver, San Diego and more throughout the coming year. If 2026 is any indication, these new shows next year are going to be HUGE!

During Combs’ 2026 run, he sold over 1.3 million tickets while making history at multiple venues across the globe. From selling out multiple nights at London’s Wembley Stadium to becoming the first artist to sell out back-to-back nights at Slane Castle in Ireland, Combs continued to show just how far country music can reach. He also drew over 90,000 fans at Ohio Stadium, which to date is his biggest headlining show yet.

You can’t help but be proud of both Luke Combs and country music in general when you see the reach this tour has had for both the artist and the genre. We have no doubt that Combs will take that momentum straight into 2027.

Megan Moroney has officially stepped into her American Girl era, and we are here for it! When collaborations like this come together, it’s a pretty perfect fit as the popular Mattel brand takes American Girl country.

A whole collection of Megan Moroney-inspired fashion and accessories is available now, with an 18-inch doll heading exclusively to Target later this year. From the pink sequined stage outfit and mic stand to the iridescent guitar and VIP accessories, no detail was overlooked with this collection.

“I’ve been an American Girl fan for as long as I can remember” shares Megan Moroney. “One of my favorite Christmas gifts was getting my first American Girl doll, and I still have her in the box at my parents’ house. As a kid, dolls let your imagination run wild…I had mine doing cheerleading stunts and performing concerts, while I also probably cared a little too much about her outfits. Getting to create a collection inspired by my own style feels like such a full-circle moment, and it’s something I’ll always cherish. I hope fans have just as much fun making the collection their own, expressing themselves, and letting their imaginations run wild.”

With Megan growing up playing with American Girl dolls, and now creating one inspired by her own style and music, this is certainly a full circle moment for the country star.

“At American Girl, we’re always looking for new ways to encourage girls to dream big and express who they are through play and fashion.” Pamela Velarde, Head of American Girl at Mattel, shares. “Megan’s authenticity, creativity, talent and unmistakable sense of style have made her a role model for so many young fans, and we’re thrilled to partner with her on a collection that encourages girls to celebrate what makes them unique.”

The fashion and accessories collection is available now at AmericanGirl.com and American Girl retail stores nationwide. Later this year, the new 18-inch American Girl x Megan Moroney doll will be available exclusively at Target, with the doll arriving online at Target.com November 22 and in stores early December, just in time for the holidays.
