Interview with fair manager Mary about the 170th Madison County Fair., the oldest fair in the state. What is old and what is new. This fair is a blend of history, and modernism There is a 18 year old on the fair board after all. They are having a treasure hunt for cash, "Everyone, needs cash" as Mary says. Demolition Derby. Lots of local bands.

Ultimate Canine production company produces the Ultimate in Family Entertainment in three fantastic shows, Muttallica "A Rock'n Rescue Dog Sport and Comedy Show" The Ultimate Canines "Dog Sport and Comedy Show and finally the Wiffle and Sniffles Show "Just clowning around with dogs show". The Ultimate Canines Show and Muttallica are basically the same show, the difference is in the appearance (logos, banners, costumes). The Wiffle and Sniffles show is a smaller in size only show that doesnt require special flooring, and is designed for stages, schools, libraries basically where size is a venues concern.

Oldest Iowa fair, with lots of things for children to do. Free admission and parking, Two of their grandstand shows are free. Senior day, Bingo, Tracie Byrd performing. They are expecting 90 degree plus weather and have swamp coolers in the buildings to keep them cool. Lots of stock car racing, antique tractor pull, figure 8 racing and chuckwagon racing. Pre fair interview with Ron Crook, event and fair manager. We talk about the history of the fairgrounds and about how it faces the ocean... only one of two fairs do that. This is a good local fair that cares a lot about the people it serves. 4-H is important. The opening day of the event is seniors day.

Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane want to extend our invitation to you to join us for the Annual Buffalo Bill Days event, June 2009, in Sheridan Wyoming. The event will kick off with an array of activities through the week, leading up to the Victorian Ball on Friday night, then the Pony Express ride and all day activities on Saturday. The day will end with a bang with the action packed Wild West show Saturday night and Sunday Cowboy Church.

Kenny began playing the piano at age eight, inspired by Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer and has since added keyboards, organ, and bass to his instrumental skills. In addition to his folk, country, rock, ragtime, and classical roots, Kenny has extensive experience providing entertainment for fairs and festivals around the USA and Canada along with house concerts.

Jack Greene, as a tribute to Ernest Tubb has just recorded a new version of "Walkin the floor over you" Made famous by the great Ernest Tubb. It will be available for purchase on his new cd "Precious Memories, Treasured Friends" Release will be the fall of 2008 Jack was Ernest's drummer for 5 years and helped to kick start Jack Greene's career.
