The past 6 weeks have been a struggle to keep this blog going. I'm not the typical coupon blogger in that I don't really post deals 24/7 on here. I give kuddos to the bloggers that stay at their computers to do this on a daily basis. If you check out CouponBeginnings official website then you can learn to coupon like a pro in no time! My 7 week old is doing great but mommy had surgery this past

I don't know if you have noticed but name brand products have started to promote their promotions and new products on t.v. with commercials that actually list the free sample website.  Purex laundry detergent was the one I saw last night. You can CLICK HERE for the site. After filling out my information it gave me the option to either print a coupon for the free item or to wait for the

This is on the corporate website and you can CLICK HERE to read it.  I was thinking with the uproar that this was going to be a more restrictive policy but it really does not hinder from the policy that we (those who shop at bi lo) are used to and it actually gives us more options and clarification! Thank you Bi-Lo you are truly the only store I like shopping at on a regular basis!

Even though I haven't done much blogging in the past 4 weeks, nor couponing, it doesn't mean I haven't been trying to figure out some real concrete ways to either save or make money for the family. And as a side note, it's really nice to be able to say "for MY family" lol.  Swagbucks for me is probably the most profitable earning website that can be utilized without having to get referrals

Varolo.com - I have been watching this website since before its massive launch. It is simply building your village, watching some ads, and then maybe a few jackpots besides your regular earnings will come your way! lol You can earn points towards gift cards and you earn when your village watches the ads.

Ok so its CVS time again! lol I only go when I have the money or really do see things I can use in the great deals that they offer. Last time I went I was able to stock up on body wash, deo, laundry detergent, and some nice nail polish. My family thinks I'm crazy for shopping today cause I'm literally going to be in the hospital tonight to get ready for my birth induction tomorrow morning! So I

Recyclebank is an earning website that allows you to earn items while learning about how to recycle. Hopefully the new website will be up & running by next week! It all depends on time, & if the baby decides to make an entrance before my scheduled induction. If you have noticed the blog has changed a bit as well in order to accommodate the new website. Thankfully I am able to add more info and pages to the new website than if I kept it all cooped up on the Blog. Thanks for patiently

I have come across a lot of negative comments and articles about stockpiling that cause me some concern. Stockpiling and hoarding are not the same thing. Hoarders have a disease and this disease gets out of control quickly.  Here is a article about hoarding off of the Oprah website that is helpful in identifying hoarders. http://www.oprah.com/home/3-Signs-of-Compulsive-Hoarding A stockpile

This trip is the first time I have used ECB beyond a dollar and the first time I rolled them during multiple transactions. I didn't know that they wouldn't cover tax so I had to adjust last minute. I didn't think each transaction would be free but I thought that it might cover some of the taxes. Ok so here is how it really went down. I went looking for my Purex coupons only to figure out

Ok cross your fingers cause I know I am. Our CVS does do early sales on Saturday night but it will override to the current week sales if the item stays on sale for the next week. So in other words the Revlon Nail color is on sale today for 4.99 with 4 in ECB (limit 6) but last week it was part of the b1 g50% off of Revlon makeup so the b1g50% would be the one for Saturday night.  Purex is

HouseParty.com is a website that is a different type of earning website in that you simply apply to host brand name parties sponsored by different companies. There is no guarantee that you will get to host but it doesn't take long to apply and if you get selected you receive free materials and most of the time coupons as well! I use coupon sites in order to find the best deals and to stay in touch with other couponers.  I have joined a good bit of forums but my favorite by far has to be weusecoupons.com. It is actually owned by the extreme coupner known as Mr. Coupon. You can find him on youtube with frugal tv & he is featured on TLC's Extreme Couponing. I can even find other people who blog about coupons or

I love watching the show and I do still wonder, "am I going to get to ever do this"?  I see the potential in myself and I feel like its almost there but I still hold myself back because there are rules that can make this restrictive and if you have no budget to begin with then it just seems....... HARD! On extreme couponing you can see where the people either owe nothing or maybe a penny!
