Review: I use candles for multiple reasons around the house. Sometimes I light one because I like the smell of it and sometimes I light one just for the ambiance of seeing a candle flickering. Wonder Woman Toddler Costume: The Wonder Woman outfit includes a blue dress with white stars, a red top with the Wonder Woman logo, boot tops, and a head band. The Wonder Woman costume is available in one standard size that will fit most toddler girls comfortably up to a size of 4T.

Review: My children are both big into super Heros. I think part of it may be my daughter wanting to be just like get big brother. While she doesn't mind putting on an Iron Man mask or pretending to be superman I wanted to find a dress up costume that could bring out the girl in her.

I remember catching Wonder Women Comics when I was younger, while I don't see as much of her these days I think she may be making a comeback. The wonder women costumes are very cute and when I showed it to my daughter she was very excited and wanted to put it on right away!

The cape, shirt and skirt are all one piece making it easy to put on. While my 3 year old still needs a little help I can see her being able to out it on all by herself very soon. I love it when she brings me the costume and says "I want to be Wonder Women." Also included in the costume pack are armbands, a headband and shoe covers. The armbands are a little long for my daughter but they can easily be cut down if needed. She doesn't seem to mind them when she stays still long enough to put them on.

We have been taking the costume on and off for a week or so and it is holding up to the toddler play. Thankfully I haven't had the need to put the costume through the washing machine but it looks like a cold cycle could do just the trick.

My Thoughts: When I fall into bed at night I want it to be as comfortable as possible. The comfier the bed, the better sleep I get. I know as a busy mom this is the only time I have to settle down and relax. While I realize that the mattress protector is under my sheets I can still tell whether it's scratchy or smooth. Review: Lisa Wingate is a new author on my radar and after reading this latest novel I'll be keeping up with her writing. I carried this book around with me everywhere until I completed it. Thankfully the kids cooperated and gave me some space to read in peace. It doesn't take long to get swept up in the lives of Mallory and Daniel. Having lived in a small town (no stop lights, 2 restaurants and a dollar general) with a child I could empathize with Mallory and how hard the adjustment was from city life.

Jack West, the mysterious character that bring the family to Moses Lake keeps you guessing on his motives and how everyone fits together. I will admit I had my own ideas on what was going on albeit they were wrong. I think that's what I liked about the story; it kept me interested by not giving away the story line until the very end.

Even after 372 pages I found myself wanting more, even after the main mystery was wrapped up, I still wanted more. I hope Lisa will invite us back into this families life in a future book.

It's award show season...bring on the pretty dresses, fancy jewelry and chocolate...I mean red carpet. My favorite part of the shows is seeing all the hairstyles, dresses and sparkling jewels. I also love to hear the speeches. I spend the whole time wondering who they might forget and if they will thank their parents, children or spouse. Award shows also give you a reason to grab some popcorn and settle down for a star studded night. If I ever had the privilege of winning an award here is how my speech might sound;

First I'd like to thank the academy and all the amazing women who were nominated with me. I am honored to be mentioned in the same sentence with them. I'd also like to thank my parents who gave me every opportunity and to my husband who has supported my dreams and encouraged me to follow them. To my children who inspire me to be a better person. I know I am forgetting someone...Thank you again for this amazing award.

Merci sent over some delicious chocolates that I have been sharing with my friends! We are up the last few at book club this week and everyone was raving about how great the different flavors were. I realized earlier this evening I have a hazelnut creme one stashed in my purse for an emergency situation. Does a long meeting count? It was just the sweet fix I needed to get through the night.

Review: With both children in preschool this year I have learned that if I ever want to see anything again it must have a label on it. Labels even saved me from having to get my daughter a new winter coat! I don't just label the typical snack cups, lunch bags, spare clothes and school supplies.

In our house I have to label some of our food! No it's not because we don't like to share our food with each other. Rather with my daughters gluten free diet we have to make sure things like peanut butter and mayonnaise. Review: With winter here to stay for a little while longer my dry hands need all the help they can get. My husband even commented that I needed lotion the other day. Review: This is the first book I've completed this year and it was a great way to start the year. Review: I have read a few blog posts using Borax for making your own laundry detergent. I have never really had the desire to do this; what I wasn't aware of was all the great uses Borax has. The first time I opened up the box and poured some into the wash. It was a load of particularly smelly clothes and I was hoping for some odor control from the Borax. In combination with my regular detergent it worked; the clothes were nice and fresh when they came out of the dryer.

A few days later I decided to sprinkle some on the carpet in our hallway. This carpet gets a lot of wear and the dog periodically will have an accident at night. Now I will admit I didn't get down and smell the carpet before and after but it did make me feel better about the kids playing there.

I am still truly amazed at all the uses this inexpensive box could help me with around the house and will continue to take advantage of the mighty power of Borax.

My Thoughts: Pizza is our families go to game time food. In fact we're eating it right now! The great thing about using your own pizza crust is you can make it so much more than your traditional pepperoni pizza. Review: My daughter loves to color and she loves princesses. When I learned about this new product from Fashion Angels I knew it would be a great winter activity for my little princess. One day over the winter break when she was acting particularly bored I pulled out a few of the products and showed them to her. That's all it took and she was at the kitchen table ripping the plastic off and inspecting all the markers and embellishments that were hers for the decorating.

I tried really hard to color with my daughter but she wasn't interested in that; she wanted the artwork to be completely hers. One of the sets contained lots of stickers and stencils. I think that was the hardest one for my daughter to understand so it would be best for children a little older. The velvet poster book was her favorite and over the course of two weeks she colored every inch in it!
