Bad blogger…

That’s me. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I.am.a.bad.blogger. I didn’t used to be. But that’s back when life wasn’t like it is now. And now you ask what’s changed? Either life is crazy busy, or I’m just plain lazy. I admit it. There are times when I’d rather sit behind my screen and mindlessly pin things rather than type words onto a screen. See, lazy. Plus I’ve been feeling kinda guilty that I’m not giving you more peeks into my life, goings ons, or feelings. It’s pictures what things or sessions, and done.

Now, I’m not a fan of people who get on and apologize profusely for not blogging and promising to get better at it. I’m not going to apologize for life getting in the way of be blogging. I love y’all, but stepping away from the computer screen to do things and see people is more important. What I am going to do it make a better effort to get a little deeper on here personally. Blog some more photography stuff, not always sessions, and of course there will be pictures. Of my dog and stuff. Like Hawaii from October.

So bear with me. I’m still alive. I think about my little spot on the internet often. And I will come on to start dusting away the cobwebs that have built up.

I have a question for you though. Who all is out there? Who reads/follows me? Please stand up and identify yourself and leave a comment. I’m just curious really. I’m not going to point you out or anything.

Engagement: Treva and Patrick

Back in early November I got to be part of a covert engagement session. You see, none of Treva or Patrick’s friends knew that they were engaged. Ok, maybe one or 2 of their closest friends. And me. So when Treva asked if I could take pictures of them I of course said sure. Then she said they’re secret engagement pictures and to please not tell anyone (because we went to high school together and have mutual friends). Again sure, no problem. So one sunny Sunday afternoon we headed out to Knight’s Ferry. I think ever other photographer in the area had the same idea, it was kinda busy out there. But that’s ok, we made do and had fun!

Paige & Coleman got married!

Remember that time ago when my sister got married…back in JULY! Gosh, if I continue to edit pictures in the order they’re taken you won’t see Hawaii until May. I’m working on it! Fortunately/Unfortunately, paying jobs come first. And I’ve been fairly busy taking pictures and editing since I got home at the end of October. Also, there are holidays that get in the way. Oh, and I work full time and like to get out of the house a few nights a week. So, back to my beautiful sister…
Paige and Coleman were married in July. And they really lucked out and for a July day the weather was mild and the heat stayed away. Please keep in mind that there are going to be big gaps in the pictures. I was kinda a VIP, not like the bride VIP, but I was her right hand woman. So the camera had to be set down most the time, like during the ceremony and dinner and all those other times I put it down or didn’t pick it up.

Getting ready… You can tell that I’m a total rock star with that heavily teased hair.

Married! The Tiger really isn’t much of a 3 seater, so poor Coleman sat in the back waving the “Just Married” sign.

That concludes pictures that I took on the wedding day. Fail on my part. Sorry. But the next day there was a brunch. I made PW’s cinnamon rolls. O.M.G. That’s all I have to say about that. My cousin and her boys came up from SLO. They swam, and wore a dog life jacket as one “made for a kid”, it was cute.

That’s all I got. My brother and sister have respectively been married for almost 6 months each. A-mazing! Just the bookends are left, Kaitlin and me.
